About this house rental
Stunning lake home located close to Oaklawn and all of Hot Springs attractions.
Master Suites (Queen Beds) on opposite ends of the house to ensure maximum privacy. There is a third bedroom (Double Bed) next to the hall bathroom and shower. And, in the front great room there is a Futon (Full Bed) that is the perfect place to curl up and read a book, or chat with friends in the afternoon AND it can double as a great place for the kids to sleep at night. The home comfortably sleeps six adults and two children.
This 2700 square foot home is designed to wrap you in the warmth of beautiful stained hardwoods nestled against floor to ceiling glass windows. The picturesque view of the tree lined lot gently sloping to the water’s edge is magnificent.
The large, mostly covered porch overlooking the lake is perfect for relaxing with your family and friends. If you enjoy chillin' in the shade on a hot afternoon, it’s the perfect setting. Or if you relish soaking up the sunshine or gazing up at the night sky, the patio extension is your key to happiness.
A double hammock big enough for two is a perfect way to stretch out and gently swing in the breeze under the trees.
A gorgeous flagstone patio by the lake offers a view toward the main channel, but the coziness of the bay is the real attraction. The patio is flanked by a swimming platform and a private boat dock (our boat is not available to rent) which forms a nice protected area for the kids to swim safely. We have cleats and buoys on the lakeside of the boat dock if you bring your own boat. Hill Wheatley Park is about 6 miles from the house, it is the closest place with a boat ramp.
Your getaway home is located on the East side of Lake Hamilton which allows you to enjoy the beauty of lake life while still being close to all the wonderful things Hot Springs has to offer. It is less than a ten-minute drive to Oaklawn Park and Casino, groceries, the Mall and restaurants. And Historic Downtown Hot Springs is an easy drive down Central Avenue.
All bedrooms and baths have comfortable bedding and towels. And there are some great beach/lake towels for your adventures in the water. Each bedroom also has a large television with Apple TV for your favorite shows or sporting events.
The home has all the conveniences you are looking for in a getaway at the lake. A walk thru kitchen, wireless internet, a dining table that seats 6, a breakfast nook that seats 4, and an old family piano that may be a bit out of tune, but it matches the owner’s voice….
On the porch, there is a 30-inch flat griddle for cooking everything from pancakes and bacon to great burgers or steaks. It is hooked up to natural gas, so you never run out of gas in the middle of that perfect steak. A custom-built wood bar is located next to the griddle with two bar stools so your friends can enjoy beverages while you are creating masterpieces on the grille.
You can savor your griddle creations around an outdoor table with seating for 6. Afterwards, you can relax around a gorgeous copper fire pit ensuring you don't have to miss out on the delights of the outdoors on those cool lake nights.

If you are in town for a tournament or competition this is the place to stay. Two families with three kids total. Never crowded. House will be the spot for your group to want to hang out! Back yard is awesome! If we come back I will 100% be trying to get this spot.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our 7 night stay at Debbie and Larry’s beautiful lakefront home. Their communication through the whole process was great. We had questions and they answered very promptly. The house itself is everything you could want in a lakefront home. Spacious and very clean. Large deck that was fenced in so if you have little kiddos like we do it was very relaxing knowing they couldn’t go running off! And the large yard looking over the lake was also fenced in so they could run around there with no stress from the parents as well. We used the fishing poles provided by the property and caught several fish right off the dock! We loved our stay. Highly recommended!

This property definitely has the WOW factor! Communication from Larry and Debbie was great the entire trip and every detail was taken care of. Very spacious and comfortable house with a gorgeous lake front. We plan on telling our friends about this house and also plan on being back!

Larry and Debbie's home is even better than pictured! It's in a great location, right on the water, and their attention to detail is phenomenal, along with local recommendations! We ate nearly every meal outside on the porch, the beds were comfy, and the fenced yard was perfect for our 4 year old daughter! We stayed here for the eclipse and felt totally welcome. Our group ranged from age 4 to 88, and everyone had an amazing time! We hope to be back again someday!

We really loved our stay at Larry and Debbie's lakehouse. My wife and I stayed with our four kids ages 1 through 8. There's three bedrooms and we were able to keep the baby in a room next to ours with the three other kids sharing the other room across the house. The house was clean, the kitchen was stocked (had all essentials for cooking, plus some spices and coffee pods for the Keurig) and we especially appreciated that the patio was fenced in and gated (as was the yard and lake).
Hot Springs had plenty to keep us busy including hiking, the Mid-America science museum and the national park bathhouses.
The owners kept in touch with us and were easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend staying here.

The house is as pictured. It is a perfect setup for a group of friends. In our case it slept 5 people very comfortably. The back porch and view of the lake is fantastic. The kitchen is well stocked and big enough for several people to be in there preparing a meal. The only issue we had was with the oven. The heat did not seem to be calibrated and it took a long time to cook something.

I almost hate to let the word out on this place for fear that it might not be available next time we’re looking for a place in Hot Springs. This home (because it’s so much more than just a house) was beautifully decorated and furnished with everything you need for an awesome stay. We’re accustomed to having to bring extras like toilet paper, paper towels, seasonings, etc for cooking but that wasn’t necessary in this home. We stayed over Thanksgiving week and thoroughly enjoyed the 3 fireplaces and the outdoor fire pit. The home was extremely comfortable and the location on Lake Hamilton was perfect and convenient to downtown Hot Springs and local attractions. As an added plus the communication with the owners was excellent as they were always just a text or email away and usually responded within a few minutes. Our next trip will be during the summer so that we can do all the summer action the actual lake. We’ll definitely be back!!

This house is a perfect location with the best lake view - huge windows - and a large fenced yard for the kids to play. Debbie & Larry have explained everything to a T and the house has amenities galore. We enjoyed coffee on the deck, kids played off the swim dock and in the yard, we grilled outside, and enjoyed every bit of this home! Debbie & Larry were so gracious and responsive throughout the weekend. We will be back!

Our stay was wonderful. Every morning waking up to the beautiful view of Lake Hamilton was the best. The kids could swim in the clear water of the lake or just float! The kitchen had all we needed which was great because we only ate out a few times. And the grill! My husband cooked for the family multiple times!! Win win! This home is lovely and thoughtfully cared for. Beautiful home and property!

This home is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood on Lake Hamilton. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and relax. The home was so beautiful, clean and had pretty much everything we needed.
The views from just about every room were so impressive. We ventured to Hot Springs only one day...most of our time was spent on the lake.
And the location was very close to everything we needed.
Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation. We all had a great time!

Wonderful lake house for family weekend! Tons of room for everyone, gorgeous gathering places, and private restful spaces. Our 20 somethings had so much fun exploring the “antique” tech found all over this special home. Just as pictured. Definitely recommend!

Lovely home and we were all very comfortable. My husband and I were staying with our 6 kids (ages 2-16) but this home would accommodate many different groups. Amazing views of the lake. We loved watching the sunset. Our kids enjoyed doing some fishing. Everything you’d want to do or need in town is a few minutes away. Owner was wonderful. We ended up with an unexpected need and she went above and beyond to help us out!

This home is so unique! It has plenty of space, beautiful views and architecture and was unlike any place I have stayed before with travel. The location was perfect to downtown. My favorite part was how clean everything was, the group I was staying with said the same thing, not once did we have an, "ew" moment or feel like we were uncomfortable. I would love to stay here again.

This is a lovely home with a beautiful view of the lake inlet and a shaded, nicely manicured yard. Fabulous porch and the best hammock ever! Very clean and spacious with plenty of room for our multi-generational family of 5. Decorated with such fun vintage items, it was a delight to be transported back to simpler times and yet have access to all our modern conveniences. Hosts were super fabulous and very quick to respond to any questions!!!! You'll love your stay at this beautiful home.

The home is beautiful! It’s in a walkable neighborhood with lake access. The owners thought of everything you could possibly need for cooking, grilling, swimming and lounging. The home has been remodeled and is beautifully decorated and comfortable. You’ll need a car or Lyft/Ubet to access downtown Hotsprings and hiking trails.

Great Memorial Day!
This is a fantastic property and the owners did a really great job of making our stay stress free. Property is exactly as described. The back deck is probably even better than I realized. We sat out on the back each morning and evening. The owners have an incredibly detailed manual that answers all our questions, in addition they are available by text any time we had any questions. I will definitely rent again. One of my best VRBO experiences!

Great Thanksgiving Stay
We loved our Thanksgiving trip - thank you so much for everything - it was perfect. Our boys loved fishing off the dock and we enjoyed exploring the area. The house was perfect size for our family and I liked the fences on patio and by lake for extra safety for our 3 year old.

Everything about this property and the owners was top notch. The booking process was flawless, arrival and check in was quick and easy, and the property was just as advertised. The property was clean, well furnished, and well stocked with essentials. Most important was the fact that the beds were comfortable!
It’s location on the lake was perfect for accommodating our pontoon boat as we spent lots of our time on the lake. Our entire group was very satisfied!! We hope to be back again!
