Everything! It’s a stunning villa in a great location just a stones throw from the port but quiet and peaceful. The interior and exterior were beautifully designed with everything you could possibly want. We loved the crow’s nest for the amazing view! The owner collected us from the port and dropped us back off and was very responsive to messages. We couldn’t have asked for more.
Nothing but worth noting that it is up a pretty steep hill for those with mobility problems and is a 10-15 minute walk to the port but we enjoyed the walk.

We very much enjoyed our stay, the house, the location and facilities.

The villa was fantastic. The owner met us at the port and gave us a lift there and also on the way back which was really appreciated. It's less than a mile from the town/port and an easy walk. Nearest supermarket is 0.4 miles away so you may need a car/taxi for your shopping but we were happy to walk as we're pretty active anyway. We didn't bother with car.
The villa has everything you could want and was cleaned/new towels, etc after 3 days. Simple things like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing machine tablets all there which was useful as we had the previous week in a hotel on Skiathos.
The island itself is great and I'd recommend taking time to visit other beaches and also get up into the hills as the views are fantastic and well worth it. If you run/walk then be prepared for hills! Great training. There is also a regular bus that goes to most of the main beaches which is very cheap.
Eating out - plenty of choices and reasonably priced. Beer seemed a bit more here than other places I've been but in line with UK prices I guess.

The villa is magnificently situated, on the edge of a Mediterranean forest, with complete silence (but the chirping of birds present every evening), with a panoramic view of the small town of Skopelos, especially in the evening the city lights give an extra charm. The cleanliness of the villa and of its facilities is perfect, the equipment thought to the smallest detail to help any tourist to feel good - from all the necessary appliances (including fridge in the garden in the patio area), to televisions in all rooms and obviously air conditioning. The pool is not very big, but it was enough to have a good time when we were not at one of the island's beautiful beaches. Even for those who don't rent a car the walk to the villa is 8-10 minutes (yes, a little uphill in some parts), and one of the small streets options goes past a very useful supermarket. The garden of the villa is a plus, as is the gazebo, we always discovered some new detail in the decorations placed there.
Nothing, everything was perfect!

The location was close enough to walk to town. The villa was very clean, modern, with lovely grounds and pool, everything you could ever need with a great outdoor cooking area and even a pizza oven. The owner was also great and went out of his way to pick us up when our ferryplans changed and we transferred to a different port.

The pool, garden and general comfort of the villa were amazing. So many places to relax and eat a meal around the villa whilst admiring the view. Not forgetting the outdoor kitchen & tree house! The villa is really spacious, well thought out with a modern but homely feel. The owner also offered to collect us from the port, which was really kind. We didn't want to leave!
It's on a hillside a little way from the main centre so if you don't have a car just be prepared for a pleasant walk and to get enough supplies to last you the duration of your stay.

The villa is beautifully done with careful thought having gone into the design. The garden/pool area are fabulous with many different areas to sit, relax and eat. The beds are really comfortable. The kids loved the pool.
Not much to dislike! A sea view would have made it absolutely perfect but even without it was great.

The villa was modern, clean and well appointed. It was in a good location within easy reach of the town. The pool was lovely and gave a welcome break from the sun.

From start to finish we’ve had a very positive experience with booking Villa Kotronaki and all of us would have no hesitation in recommending it. We booked it for a one week stay & the owners/managers were friendly and responded very quickly to any queries. When we arrived they picked us up from Skopelos Port (even stopping by the local supermarket to allow us to get some basics in which was much appreciated) and allowed us to check in early. The villa was everything we hoped for and more: beautifully presented inside and out, spotlessly clean and with everything you’d need for a ‘home from home’ stay (apart from a full length mirror which us ladies like). From the details and pictures we thought there was only going to be one bathroom but there were actually two (one upstairs where the lounge and verandah is and one downstairs with the two bedrooms). Downstairs there was also a utility room with a washing machine (there was also an iron but no ironing board, but this was made available to us when we requested it).
There is a supermarket a 10 minute walk as you turn left out of the villa and town/port is a 15 minute walk mostly downhill (walking back up works off the calories but I’d recommend a torch if coming back late at night). You’ll sleep like a log here….it is soooo peaceful.
I can’t go without mentioning cute Blanco the cat….we’ve had many cuddles over the past week (he doesn’t intrude but we all did encourage him and therefore he’d come and sit with us by the pool now and again which was lovely for my daughters).
I’d recommend booking a taxi early for when you leave as we tried numerous drivers but they weren’t available, so we were very appreciative of a lift back down from the owner/manager. Thanks for a memorable stay! x
No full length mirror and no immediately accessible ironing board….but these are minor as the property is beautiful.

We had the most amazing stay at Villa Kotronaki. The villa is beautiful, modern and equipped with everything you could need. The outdoor space - which included a lovely pool, outdoor wood fire BBQ and pizza oven, and an al fresco dining area - was a particular highlight for us. We had all the benefits of quiet seclusion, while still being located within walking distance to Skopelos Town. Vaggelis was a great host and very responsive throughout our stay. I would highly recommend staying at Villa Kotronaki and hope to return again when I am next in Skopelos.

Everything. A beautiful villa with everything one would need for a comfortable stay. I was very impressed with the design and decoration.
There was nothing we didn't like.

The owner offered to meet us at the port. The house is beautifully decorated. We enjoyed sitting on the large balcony looking over to Skopelos. It was particularly beautiful at night. We hired a small car and it was only 5 minutes drive into Skopelos. We also walked down to the harbour in the evening where there are lots of good restaurants. The house is spotlessly cleaned, and clean sheets and towels are provided after 3 days. We enjoyed dips in the pool and also used the wood provided to have a barbecue in the outside oven. We drove to Stafyilos beach which is only 10 minutes drive. It is also a pleasant hour's walk on footpaths past olive groves. Panoramas and Kastani (Mama Mia) beaches are 20/30 drive away.

If you looking to have a peaceful and comfortable holiday stay , then villa Kontronaki is the place to be!
The hosts were very helpful and were there to greet us on arrival and drop us to the port on departure. They were very helpful throughout our stay.
Thank you!
As soon as we arrived I could tell we made the right choice . The interior and exterior of the house was exceptional and had many unique touches to it. It was exactly as shown on the photos. The villa had all the amenities, appliances and cutlery you'll need to be able to cook on your stay.
We had visited with our kids and they had a blast. There was so much space in the garden for them to run around they even had a swing and a tree house! The kids enjoyed spending all day near the pool (the ideal place to keep your kids busy).
Everything was spotless clean and you could tell that the place was recently built because everything was new..
We had a wonderful stay and I'm sure you will too. :)
We will be visiting soon...
We had a few issues with the internet but I'm sure the hosts will get that sorted out soon.
