Guest Interaction:
I like you to feel comfortable in the space, as if it was your own. I provide thorough directions and lots of communication. Throughout your stay, I am only ever a message or phone call away. I'm always happy to provide recommendations, advice, or anything else that may come up during your stay. If we are not available, we have assistant available.
Other Things to Note:
1 small dog allowed and must be approved by host prior to booking. There additional pet fee of $75 (per dog). $150 will be collected prior to check-in and half will be refunded after checkout so long as all pet rules are followed. If you do bring your dog we will be adding a sofa cover to the couch.
Security Cameras installed outside (these are the only cameras) - we use this to monitor guest count and for security purposes.
Trash - guest agrees to take cans to curb on designated city pick up days
Low Flow Toilets - do not flush anything other than small amounts of toilet paper
The home is regularly treated with non-toxic pest repellent. Still, this property is located in a historic neighborhood in the desert. Bugs are a part of life here in the southwest. While we make every effort to stay on top of pest control and keep the apartments spotless for guests, we cannot completely control nature and therefore you may see the occasional bug. Please be aware of this and make sure you're ok with the possibility before booking.
The Neighborhood:
We love the historic feel and the charm that Old Town delivers. It's always enjoyable to slow down and spend time strolling through the square and the numerous shops and restaurants available. We feel perfectly safe walking around Old Town both day and night, just sticking to the immediate blocks around the plaza, and around Rio Grande Blvd. Going from Central towards Downtown does have some isolated stretches so it is recommended to use common safety sense as you would in any big city.
Distance to:
Airport: 9 miles
Balloon Fiesta Part: 12 miles (we recommend park-n-ride)
Hotel Albuquerque: 4min walk
UNM: 3.5 miles
Old Town: 2 min walk
Fairgrounds: 8miles
Convention Center: 2 miles
Location is perfect for walking to Old town and surrounding restaurants. Walk score of 84 out of 100. This location is Very Walkable so most errands can be accomplished on foot.
Bike score of 87 (very bikeable, flat as a pancake, good bike lanes). There is a bike rental shop within walking distance as well.
Uber, Lyft and Taxi's are always available.
There is a bus system, check the city website for details.

Nice home close to Old Town Square and Aquarium. The house was very clean with comfortable couches and beds. Wifi worked great! Our dog also enjoyed the fenced back yard. Good place to stay! 👍👍

VRBO was conveniently located close to Old Town, VRBO was a short walk away. VRBO has 3 mini splits, one in each bedroom and one in the living room. They cool quickly once turned on and do keep the temperature regulated nicely.

My family and I enjoyed our short stay at this location. It was clean and orderly with a good amount of space to stretch out and relax. The area is near old town with nice cafes and restaurants to eat at a few minutes outside of downtown Albuquerque.

Location was great. We are familiar with Albuquerque so had no problems getting around using the highways or main streets. House had everything we needed. Having a garage for parking was nice. The same with a washer and dryer. Only recommendation is garage should be swept out and the house had areas of dust bunnies. No biggy, but does distract when you see long black hair in lint and you are silver and short haired. Would recommend.

We love this place. It was the perfect size and is in a great location, within walking distance to Old Town. The check-in process and communication with homeowner was very easy. It is very clean, comfy beds and a fun, relaxing back yard. We hope to stay here again soon.

This was our 2nd time in this property. Both times were amazing. This is a great location, within walking distance to a LOT of great sights. Neighborhood is quiet. We plan on using this again in March 2025. Management was available, not bothersome. Everything you could need was provided. Just GREAT! I'd love to keep it my secret, but also don't want to deprive anyone the great opportunities of this property.

The home was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Our pet was small so the front gate had an opening that he could get through. Not a problem …..we just kept him on a leash.

The house had two large bedrooms and one bath, and was very clean and nice. The owner was accessible through VRBO and responded to any questions within 24 hours--sooner, if there was an issue. While we chose to drive to locations, Old Town was certainly within walking distance. Even better, the entrance to I-40 was about a half-mile away. I would happily stay there again.

My friend flew in from Tulum, I came in from Portland and we visited some of our favorite places from when we lived in ABQ 20 years ago as well as some new great finds. This house is comfortable, charming, clean and walking distance to the Rio Grande (just down Mountain), Old Town, Saw Mill Market and so many yummy restaurants. Plus the home comes with a fabulously full cherry tree!

We appreciated the booklet containing restaurant suggestions and other info. And the coffee. The location is great and the home was in excellent shape.

We enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and we loved Monica’s El Portal down the street. The beds were comfy, communication was great. The only thing that could have made it better is comfier couches. Overall great!

If you're looking for a stay with a New Mexico vibe and a great location, this is it. We walked to Old Town several times. The Breaking Bad Museum is very close. Since our stay was during Christmas, we walked to the BioPark to see the River of Lights. The location is a typical adobe structure on a residential side street so there is very little traffic or noise.

This is the 3rd VRBO I have stayed at in Alb. Hands down this is my favorite. House has everything you need..backyard is amazing. For me I go often as my daughter goes to school there , and the location is perfect for what we needed. Parking in garage was a def plus..

My stay at this NM adobe left me thoroughly impressed as I was met with a range of amenities and features that contributed to a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The presence of a Kangen water cooler was a pleasant surprise. The convenience of having a big refrigerator allowed me to store all the groceries I needed for the duration of my stay. Two patios added outdoor options for relaxation, and the yard and inside of the house were exceptionally clean, making us feel right at home. The double garage was a standout perk. It provided secure parking and extra storage space.
It is clear that the host is prepared to ensure their guests have a comfortable and convenient experience while enjoying the ambiance of the charm of Old Albuquerque.

We had a great stay, nice quiet area. Was very comfortable and would stay again.

We were just passing threw and needed a house to stay in because we had an ice chest full of food that wouldn’t have worked staying in a motel. Beds were comfortable and the owner didn’t use a bunch of smelly fragrances on the sheets, towels or cleaning surfaces. I find a lot of vrbo’s do and won’t accommodate. Thanks for a pleasant stay!

This property was as described. Excellent location, can walk to old town and the many restaurants. Easy access to freeway. The property was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. Communication with property owner was easy she was responsive to my questions. THANK YOU! I would booked this place again. Great air conditioner and fans to keep us cool during the heat. :-)

We spent 6 nights here. Great location to Old Town area, busy, with lots of activity. The house was comfortable, as advertised. Garage and back yard were nice features. Our dog was with us, lots of dogs in the neighborhood. Easy access to the freeway. Would stay again in the future. No issues, and owner very attentive.

This house was perfect for my vacation in Albuquerque. It is located just on the edge of Olde Towne so I could walk over there every day for dining, shopping, or visiting local attractions. The house is on a quiet, walkable street with no through traffic so it is quiet day and night. There is a garage to park your car, a fence and gate that keeps the property secure, and even though I traveled alone, I felt perfectly safe going out day or night and drinking my coffee every morning in the yard. The house was clean and well prepared to accommodate visitors. I would definitely stay here next time I'm in Albuquerque which is actually a very nice, small city to visit. There is lots to do, no traffic to speak of (I'm from NYC so no traffic always works for me), and the Rio Grande was charging during my visit. Bonus: the BioPark is just a mile or so down the road from this property so visits to the Zoo and river were easy and fun. Pack your bags and take a trip to Albuquerque! You won't be sorry

This house was perfect for us! Great desk area and internet so I could work during the weekdays and then an easy walk to many different restaurants for dinner! Loved having a garage and the extra bedroom. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. Definitely would book again!!

The house was great! My best friend and I visited for our birthday weekend. It was plenty of space to be comfortable, and close to a lot of things! If it was warmer, we might have spent more time outside! One note - if you’re a light sleeper, or spend more time at the house - there are some neighbor dogs that are a little barky. But that’s definitely not the property’s fault! It was a great stay!

Alarm went off when I open the door at 4 AM on my last day. Then the police showed up. This had nothing to do with me. Ruined my stay. Owner took no responsibility.
