A superb place to stay with family

The place has a lot of facilities, the main one is a swimming pool but there are also a gaming room, a place for tennis/basketball, BBQ. Everything is nice, well-looked after and clean. Almost an ideal place to stay with a family. Chalets are very clean, fully equipped for a family stay.

Brilliant recharge break😊

The owner Colin & Andre’s are both very friendly and accommodating🙌🏼. Peaceful place to re-charge your energy and do your mediation ☺️ Lovely to come back with some close friends to enjoy a bonding time😊😁

My son was hoping he play a basketball, it will be nice to have a proper basketball ring in the multi-purpose court.

Excellent, we would highly recommend

Just about everything. Good swimming pool and games room. The owners were fantastic and were eager to help. The chalet was great and had all the amenities that we needed. The grounds were well kept.

The only thing I did not like was the narrow lane that you had to use to get to the property. It was OK until you got an 'ignorant' local who would not get on to the grass verge to let you pass.

Came to Torrington to attend my dad’s funeral,lived in Torrington for years and didn’t realise it was there,but now when we visit family we know good local accommodation ,so will definitely visit again,So thank you to Andrea for making us feel so welcome in difficult circumstances.

Recommend visit to those who like to spend time in a quiet and peaceful place.

Very friendly hosts, great place to stay. Many places for entertainment such as sports.I recommend to everyone who wish to relax and spend a vacation in this nice and quiet place.

It would be nice to increase the wifi signal, as it loose from time to time, but in general the place is very good for relaxing.

A lovely break away in the peace and quiet of Great Torrington.

Colin and Andrea were amazing hosts to the extend that they gave us a lift into town. They offered us several recommendations...and nothing was too much of an effort for them.

A blissful break away from the normal chaotic life, a site that has all we needed and more.

The location was fantastic. All I could hear at night was the crickets/grasshoppers in the hedge, blissful break away from normal hustle and bustle. Staff were very attentive and helpful offering ideas for things to do, best places for parking etc. Pool was delightfully warm so got plenty of use out of that! Chalet was kitted with everything we could possibly need.

A few pot holes on the track into the site could do with some attention/filling in! Maybe lacking a full size mirror for checking outfits before heading out. Worth considering fixed soap dispensers so the soap doesn’t make a mess of the bathroom shelf.

Comfortable place to stay and exceptionally clean.

The accommodation and kitchen/equipment was spotless as well as the holiday park generally. Lots of CD's available to borrow free. TV and CD player provided. Free WiFi. Swimming Pool was out of season during our stay but it was being thoroughly cleaned ready for use. We stayed in one of the older chalets and it did have a bit of a musty smell but the new owners are working hard to upgrade the whole place and they are doing an excellent job. There are more modern static caravans available. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Quiet and relaxing stay in spotlessly clean, spacious lodge. LOVELY!

Friendly owners, immaculately clean lodge accommodation, super quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the fantastic walking, running and cycling in the immediate area nearby. Great Torrington a couple minutes drive away.

A good, value for money base to stay and explore Devon.

Plenty of space, clean and tidy, close to the pool. It was very friendly and welcoming. Excellent value for money.

Slight lack of utensils and trays in kitchen, would have quite liked a bathroom bin.

Spotless and very entertaining in a chill environment

Colin & Andrea have managed to make Greenways Valley their small piece of paradise. Everything is spotless, clean and tidy, the amenities are spot on and in the dedicated game room, you can find a pool table, table tennis table and also play darts. The information office has everything you can possibly imagine plus a foosball table, a huge collection of DVD movies for adults and children and many many children's books. Enough to keep you and the little ones busy for days. Have not tried the pool due to bad weather but that looks great as well. For those sporty, you can enjoy a tennis day on the court.

Nothing, it well exceeded our expectations. Please brace yourselves for the typically narrow Devon country-roads though :)

Good

OK for a cycling holiday, a bit basic but ok for a bunch of guys. Owners were very friendly. Kitchen was well equipped. All in all just fine for us. The Thai pub was good.

Chalets smelled a bit musty probably due to being at the begining of the season but we got used to it. A bit too far to walk into the town but there again there wasn't much there anyway!!

Would stay again

The owners Colin and Andrea could not have been more helpful and friendly. They even helped with trying to pack up the self folding tents with mich laughter on both sides (that they supplied). Really easy comfortable, family feel. Would stay again, a lovely family holiday, with many attractions within a 30 min drive from Devon attractions.

WiFi could be better, but they are modernising the site

A lovely small, quiet chalet park, ideal for couples or families. Good situation, just outside Great Torrington and close to main roads to tourist spots in Devon and Cornwall. Highly recommended

A shower over the bath would have been good, and a mirror is neede beside the shaving point

Nice quiet campsite. Clean and confortable.

Accomodation was as described. Our chalet was clean with new kitchen, bathroom and comfortable double bed. Very quiet campsite, nice and relaxing.

Very good

The people who owned the property were very pleasant and really helpful. Everywhere on the site was really clean and the pool although cold was great to swim in. Although we had the problem with the bugs the chalet wss spotless and everything was provided . It was comfortable and we all enjoyed our time there. The views of the fields that surround the park are beautiful.

We didnt like there was no wifi. Also we had maybugs in the chalet that we had to keep killing.

Tranquil and relaxing stay in beautiful North Devon.

Very friendly, helpful and enthusiastic owners, quiet and peaceful setting, clean and well maintained site. Cabins are well equipped and fairly spacious. Lots to do in the local area, easy drive to lots of beautiful beaches.

Would have been better with a more comfy double bed and a shower in the bathroom.

Excellent hosts, really clean accommodation and the pool, games room, BBQ area and laundry were fantastic additions to the stay

If I had to be picky I’d say having a proper shower hose in the bath would have been good. But it didn’t really affect how much we enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable, clean and everything required for a family holiday.

The pool, games room and the information centre were great. The beds were very comfortable with nice bedding. The Friendliness and helpfulness of the owners was fantastic.

The trenches around the chalets. Could be dangerous for very young children.

Reasonably priced accommodation on a site which is being redeveloped. Very close to RHS Rosemoor

We had a chalet. It was roomy and suited our needs. Lots of hot water available all day. Good sized kitchen with new toaster, kettle, microwave etc. Very clean. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The buildings are in the process of being refurbished as many are quite old and "tired". The new owners have only just taken over the site so they need time to achieve this. I wish them the very best in these difficult times and hope they can make a success of this venture. The swimming pool is being refurbished and I hope they get a sunny spring and summer for visitors to enjoy it.

The bathroom lacked ventilation. The roof vent needs replacing. I feel the cold a lot and found the heaters a little inadequate early morning and in the evening. We stayed during a cool and wet period in mid October which didn't help! Warm and comfortable when the sun was shining!
