There was a lock on the door and the toast in the morning was nice.
The room was filthy. I get in and on the back of the door is a towel covered in white crusty residue and bugs. The bathroom was mouldy. There were bugs everywhere. The sheets had brown residue on them. I slept on top of the bed because the sheets felt so dirty. They had the radiators on all day every day which made the bathroom very very hot. The shower was mouldy. The trash in the breakfast room wasn’t taken out for days at a time. There is no elevator so you have to drag all of your luggage up several flights of stairs on a narrow stairway.

The accommodation did not match the pictures shown on the website, there is no bar and certainly no outdoor facilities.

Was in the center
The entry was Poor looking, bad smell. Poor looking rooms, no hot water, no neat and clean walls, dust, cobwebs, mould on the wall in one room, in the other one in the bathroom. I was changing rooms, thought it would be better... wasn't . In the first room, no 5 both of the small windows look to a roof. The bed was against the wall, couldn't move it was filthy behind. The room wasn't hoovered. In the morning a man was walking there. The shower head didn't work, fairly hot water here but mouldy radiator pipe and filthy mouldy corner . Room number 9 was better looking but mould in the room , roughly finished walls, small space. No hot water at all ...very bad experience

Self service breakfast was still ok.
I am not a picky person but there was mould on the ceiling and the wall in the room. The rooms are really old and should be renovated first. There was no light in the room and the one in the bathroom was really dark. The bar downstairs was closed, there is no beer garden. The breakfast was prepared one day before. We arrived to the place and had to call 4 different numbers until we have reached the right person who gave us a code of the key box (which wasn’t mentioned before and we haven’t received any message). Later we helped other people who had the same problem like us. I hope they will improve the communication will people that they wouldn’t be surprised from the first moment.

Pics aren’t true. But it’s a spot to stay it’s so clean and tv works well unfortunately due to covid I’m guessing they haven’t been able to maintain the standards in the pics but staff and breakfast were lovely rooms were comfy center of the town
Nothing to fault them bar false advertising pics and price for what’s actually given. Not terrible but slightly much. Have a warning about the for sale and that cause I nearly died haha

I could eventually move to a bigger room
Bathroom is to small

It's a room above a disused pub. The couple looking after it for a foreign owner were very friendly and helpful. The room was perfectly adequate, but the breakfast was a bit thin.
Depressing part of town on main road in a rather rundown town. Disused pub below made it a bit bleak.

The whole experience was just what I was looking for. Room was perfect as was bathroom.

Breakfast is a plus and the place is in a central location. Beautiful traditional building.
When we approached the B&B there were large "For Sale" signs which was confusing, and the phone number given in Booking.com was not working. Hosts put their numbers on the door though, so once we had reached them, check-in via key box was easy. Water was not working in the morning, we had to leave before it was fixed. Room seems to need general maintanence (lamps, soap dispensers) but was overall clean.

No complaints at all

We did not get to stay the night as nobody was at the property to let us in. The number given on the booking is also not in use. We waited hours to access the property on the street and had to find alternative accommodation in a small town at 10pm. This seems to be an ongoing issue at this business - reflected in multiple other reviews of a similar nature. I’m now in a day long process to try regain a refund from Booking.com. A disaster - do not book this property!!!

Beds were comfortable heating was on, towels were clean.
Not what we expected nobody there to greet us. The building from outside looked derelict and very grubby looking .Not what what was advertised on website. Key was in a looked box outside door. We got a text informing us of the code to get key we had trouble getting the code to work, tried to contact the owner a couple of times. answer machine kicked in. After some time we got it.to work

Value. Staff polite and efficient for breakfast. Accommodating for our late arrival
Hard to find the entrance especially at night with light rain. GPS takes you "Maid of Erin" statue across the street and 30m away. We found a friendly local who pointed us in the correct direction.

there was no property to begin with, also after doing further research on trip advisor there was multiple reviews advising of the same experience

One member of the staff -- the only one we ever met -- was an angel and helped us enormously. She was the housekeeper, and she went far above and beyond. Without her, it would have been a disastrous stay. The room was a comfortable size for two people.
The contact number for the place given in Booking.com is incorrect. Therefore we could not reach anyone when we arrived in town at night -- not even by booking.com message -- and would never have even reached the place if not for the kindness of a stranger who drove us there (since there were no taxis or buses).
Upon reaching the address we found a dark, locked building with not a single guest or staff person -- just a phone number posted on a window. Upon calling the number, the very helpful and kind housekeeper showed up, helped us settle in and left. We were two women spending the night and morning totally alone in this building, on a mostly deserted street, in a hotel that had clearly seen better days. The bar-restaurant that was supposedly part of the hotel had closed down long ago. We did not feel entirely safe -- this was not what we had bargained for. None of the taxi services answered so we nearly found ourselves stranded in this empty, deserted building the next morning. (But again, the housekeeper, bless her, helped us get out.)

Paddy who is the concierge is awesome. He's friendly, and helpful. Because of him, we felt at home. The hotel is right downtown in an old elegant building in a row of businesses. We travel on a shoe string and it's a very good value.
