High above Maggie Valley with fantastic mountain views this cozy cottage is waiting for you! Relax on one of the decks and soak up the view! This cottage is located in the gated community of Laurel Heights at a cool 4800 feet in elevation. Just the place for your mountain vacation get away!

Featuring 2 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths, the main floor of the cottage has a bedroom with walk out deck, full bathroom with a shower, living room, kitchen, dining area and large covered and open deck to enjoy the outdoors and a screened porch for comfy relaxing. Upstairs is a loft with three twin beds and a half bath. Go outside and down some steps to a recently renovated private suite with king bed and bath.

This home sits above the Maggie Valley Club where seasonal amenities for additional fees include golf, pool and a public restaurant.
Conveniently located near Waynesville, Maggie Valley, Cherokee, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Blue Ridge Parkway and Asheville it’s the perfect location to enjoy all that Western North Carolina has to offer.

With the high elevation and great views, the access is a curvy paved road. Put your vehicle in low gear going down! Be ready for ice or snow in winter months.

The neighborhood is a wildlife preserve. You may see deer, wild turkey and bears during your visit.

Highly recommend. Cabin is great. View are even better. I will warn, if you plan on going down to the valley often make sure your not the car sick type cuz the road up the mountains is full of zig zags.

This stay was the best we have had to date. Perfect location, super clean and well appointed. Will repeat again in the future. The house has amazing views! Very relaxing to enjoy the front and rear porches to soak in the outdoors.

Roomy place with spectacular views, wife loved the private screened porch, the double slider that opens up the whole LR to Mountain View’s was great One of bedrooms with full bath was detached and a nice bit of privacy if staying with more people

We rented the property for 4 nights and truly enjoyed our stay. The ever changing views of the mountains was spectacular. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied. We give it a 5 star rating and in the future... we may do it again.

We felt very secluded on top of the mountain with great views, but close to things to do. Very quiet and serene! Everything was as described in the information too. Fast response time to any questions we had. Loved it!!

We thoroughly enjoyed Cheryl's cottage! The view is amazing, and the sunrises were absolutely wonderful! Our host Suzy was awesome, great communication, we had some snow one night and she made sure to keep us updated on road conditions! Overall this stay was perfect, will definitely be going back!

The house was very clean and well stocked. Only frustrating issue was how poor the internet was. House is very high up in the mountains so understandable but still frustrating. Having Direct TV was nice and needed.

The views are spectacular. The house is set up to take advantage of the view. Very comfortable bed and furniture Suzy was awesome and very responsive. We have rented a lot of vacation homes over the years and this is our favorite one

This was our 2nd time staying & it was wonderful. The flora is beautiful & the property's gorgeous mountain views & quiet seclusion are very peaceful. A new recliner & reclining sofa are not reflected in the listing photos. We travel frequently & comfortable furniture isn't very common so it's much appreciated when we find it! This cottage has lots of cozy places to relax. The kitchen is very well stocked, the bed is comfortable, the shower has great water pressure & the whole cottage is clean. Suzy was very accommodating when we had issues with the vrbo site being down & she let us know when lawn workers were coming. Thank you for another great stay!

My wife and I stayed to relax in the mountains while exploring the Maggie Valley area as a potential permanent destination. The house was lively. The view, ever changing! The travel up the mountain to the house is well worth it but your schedule is dictated by the weather and the desire to only make one trip per day. Beautiful location. Nature was our TV

The directions to the property were clear and we liked that this was a gated community. Nice covered parking area. It was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the mountain views from the porch swing. Would be happy to visit again!

Awesome and a great place relax. Our small dog Lexy loved the large porch. It was great for observing the rabbits. Sadly, due to health issues we had leave early. It was as advertised,. Would recommend the property.

While this was our first stay in Maggie Valley, it won't be our last! This cabin was absolutely perfect for my husband, myself & our dog. It was secluded & quiet with an amazing view of the Smokies & the cabin was even better than the pictures online. The bed was comfy, the sheets were buttery soft, and the towels were fluffy & soft as well. The kitchen provided everything you need to cook plus a few extras. The owner was very responsive when we had an issue with the gate code halfway through our stay. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. We hope to come back in the future.

Couldn't have been any happier with every aspect of our stay. The house was clean, comfortable and had an amazing view of the mountains. Loved waking up in the morning with a cup of coffee watching the sunrise. It was serine. Would stay here again and would suely recommend

We stayed at this property for 4 days and fell in love with the views we were greeted with each morning, seeing the sun rise over the mountains. In the evenings we could view the stars and the lights in the valley. Such a wonderful peaceful and beautiful place.
