Welcome home to Beach Candy, an expansive 2-story beachfront oasis located in Surfside Beach, an unspoiled fishing community conveniently located just south of Houston. The soaring two-story ceiling in this open floor plan provides gorgeous views of the water from almost every room of the house. With a large lot running from Blue Water Highway to the Gulf, guests have their own private drive. This home allows ample outdoor space for families to savor their time with their loved ones.
Family-owned and managed, Beach Candy offers personal touches such as flexible arrival and departure days, beds made upon arrival, and high-quality linens and towels. We provide coffee and tea for that first morning on the beach as well as staples such as toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, hand soap, and laundry and dishwashing detergent.
At Beach Candy, we provide all that guests desire for an enjoyable day outside and inside. For time at the beach, we supply plastic buckets and shovels, boogie boards, and beach chairs. Visitors can hang out in the expansive yard and play on our built-in washer game court or our bean bag game board. After a day at the beach, Beach Candy offers entertainment options such as high-speed internet, Xfinity cable TV, board games, puzzles, and a collection of books and DVD’s. Visitors will enjoy smart TVs in every bedroom.
One of its most inviting features, Beach Candy's large deck beckons guests with ample chairs and umbrellas. Visitors can walk out on the deck to enjoy the breeze on their face, the beautiful blue water, and the soothing melody of the Gulf waves. For those with small children, guests can close the gate to the stairs to keep the little ones safe. The panoramic view of the Gulf waits 24 hours a day.
Summer is not the only season to visit the coast. The offseason offers empty beaches, more affordable lodging, and an opportunity to enjoy the tranquil surroundings and slower pace without the crowds.

I can’t say enough good things about Beach Candy! I’m a multi-year renter and have such a great time each year. The house is always clean and beautifully laid out. Kitchen is incredibly well stocked. Tons of places to sit and hang out together both inside and out. Beach location is great. I take my 23 yr old son and his buddies down each year and it’s everyone’s favorite trip. They are great hosts and the consistency of each visit is great! Can’t recommend them enough! Ready to book for next year!

This house had everything we needed. It was clean, so close to the beach and fully stocked. Management was amazing and kept checking in with us. We had a wonderful time! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at this house! Everything was as listed, the house was clean, safe, and it had plenty of space for us all. Amy, the owner, was so kind and checked in on us to ensure our stay was as expected. She was also very easy to communicate with leading up to, and during, our stay. The garage was full of beach toys, chairs, and much more that we used daily. The beach cart was a happy bonus to help us haul everything back and forth. The beach itself was clean and patrolled regularly. The outdoor shower was perfect for the end of the day to rinse off at. There was plenty of privacy. We enjoyed our stay and will be coming back!

This house was perfect for our family! Plenty of space and fully stocked with plenty of games, puzzles, and beach toys. The beach is just a short walk from the house so it was easy to make trips back and forth when the kids were ready for a break. We are definitely planning on a repeat visit in the future! Amy is an excellent host very nice and helpful.

This is an adorable beach house! The layout and open space worked perfectly for our family. Had everything we needed, including beach items. Super clean, well-decorated & even had new comforters (I think!) on all the beds! The upstairs deck is nice to enjoy in the mornings too. The only downside was the mosquitoes on the lower level outside- whew! But Amy was an amazing host :) always available & very helpful! Thank you for sharing your home.

The property "Beach Candy" at Surfside Beach, TX, was exceptional in so many ways!! The house was equipped with top-notch kitchen appliances. Spacious, and tastefully decorated, open concept living spaces, with all the amenities of entertainment available throughout the house! We woke up to breathtaking views of sunrises over the Gulf. Spent many days on the beach, grilled dinners at sunsets and visited local restaurants and stores in the area...even a Buc-ee's close-by too!!
We highly recommend this vacation home to anyone looking forward to a beautiful getaway!

The most friendly hosts that I have experienced yet. The ease of check in to the easiest check out. The home is very welcoming and doesn't feel like a rental at all! It's as if a family member allowed us to use their home. It was very well equipped with everything you might like to have. The beach views and access was fantastic! Loved the outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Sunrises were amazing! My family and I would love to return. It was a great family vacation!!

This property was wonderful for my four sisters and I along with my son and his two friends. Very clean and cute inside. And the view is amazing of the beachfront from the deck. Perfectly located to shopping, restaurants and more. Rented a golf cart and was able to take my sisters out on the beach since they are in their 70s & 60s... The property manger Amy went above & beyond for my sister Robin celebrating her 72nd birthday with decorations & mimosa upon arrival !!! Thank You!! Thank You.... Amy, that made her day extra special. We are already planning our next trip to Beach Candy on Surfside Beach... Just Loved This Property!!

Easy to locate, looked just like the pictures. Clean, nicely decorated, A/C worked awesome in the extreme heat. Kitchen well stocked, very good TV instructions, big chairs on the deck for wave watching. Great suggestions for restaurants for several evening meals. Very very good communication with Amy before and during our stay. We had a lovely time.

Beach Candy was perfection! It had everything we needed, it was clean, it was comfortable, relaxing, and steps away from playing in the surf and sand. We will definitely be back. The owners were quick to respond and very accommodating.

Beach Candy was a good choice! The house is in a great location right on the beach, but it also has a yard so you are not always walking in sand. The house was nicely decorated .The beds were very comfortable for a good nights sleep after being at the beach all day. The kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped although depending on your usage, you should bring extra paper products and trash bags. There is a garage full of beach toys, something for all ages. The upper deck was a great place to relax and enjoy the awesome views of the gulf.

Three nice bedrooms plus the three full size bed in the loft made this a perfect set up for our family. Super quick walk to the beach… nice deck to sit out in and enjoy the evenings. Owner was great… easy communication. Highly recommended for your next Surfside stay. 👍

The house is absolutely adorable and has everything you need! It was spotless, the AC was phenomenal, and the outside shower is a nice touch. The bedrooms are super cute, and even the beds in the loft have dividers to provide some privacy. Having the wagon and other beach items was a plus. The fact that there weren't a million rules made things much less stressful. We had a fantastic time and will definitely rent again.

We recently stayed at Beach Candy a second time for an annual family vacation. Surfside is our favorite TX beach town and this property is exactly the right location, condition, and experience. The home is in extremely good condition (quite hard given the relentless humidity and salt spray of the coast), has a relaxing environment, is well appointed, and the best part is the host! Attentive, helpful, very easy to work with. We enjoyed staying here the first time, the second time was as good as remembered, and we will definitely be back again! Thank you Beach Candy!!

Amy and Mike are excellent communicators. They provided information ahead of time that helped us pack. Had a basic question and they responded in minutes.
The house was well maintained. They take pride in their house. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Home layout was great feeling cozy and intimate. Towels felt new as well as the bedsheets. Beds were comfortable. Teens loved the fan, light, and outlet in each loft bed.
Outside had plenty of seating downstairs and on the deck. This place had the best outdoor shower with cold/hot water and numerous hooks for drying. Will stay here again.

One of our favorite places we've rented. It was very affordable for.hiw nice it was.The place was very clean and well stocked. Beds were very comfortable. They provided beach chairs, toys, boogie boards and a cart to haul it down to the beach which was convenient so we didnt have to pack those things for vacation. The host was amazing. She texted a few times to make sure we didnt need anything and gave some tips on where to eat. Not one complaint about the place, we had a blast!

The house is just as described and styled with cute beach decor. The rooms were cozy and nice. The house sits on a perfect location on the beach with a direct walking path! The property owners were wonderful and communicated the need to know information as well as promptly answered any questions. In the house, the shower heads and water quality is the only negative. Outdoors, the mosquitos are relentless but we had a very nice stay at Beach Candy!

I would 10/10 recommend Beach Candy. The house was very clean, spacious, and accommodating. The location is my family’s favorite area on Surfside. It is far enough away from the main attractions to get away from the crowds and heavy traffic- which was great with a wild toddler running around. On top of it all, the hosts were quick to reply and very helpful.

Stary nights
Our family vacations usually consist of 21 people, but only 10 could make it this year...this house was a perfect size for us. As soon as the 4 grandkids saw the beach, they were changing into swimsuits. The adults enjoyed the decks day & night. We had wonderful breezy nights with stars to count. The grandkids said that they enjoyed this place better than the place we had in Branson 🤫 We definitely will be back to make more memories...Thank you Amy for opening up your house for us to enjoy.

What can I say “perfect “
This was my first experience with renting a house. Property was just as described in the listing. Loved the beachfront access and view. Great deck with chairs and umbrellas to watch the ocean. The deck had a gate that kept the 21 month old from falling done the stairs or escaping. My favorite thing was the outdoor shower after coming in from the beach-very large and private. Host were very available for any need but distant enough so you could enjoy and relax on vacation. I think that I will be spoiled and afraid that the next rental experience can not meet my expectations. I hardly ever go back to the same place but might make exception for this place.

We had a great time at Beach Candy! We were a group of 8 adults and 3 children and had all the accommodations we needed. The beds were very comfortable and there were bed rails, gates, and other accessories to help keep the kidddos safe. There were plenty of fluffy towels to go around. The house was decorated so nicely and was very clean. We loved using the various beach toys, chairs, and boogie boards available during the day and enjoyed a fire at night. The ambiance was wonderful and we had a great view of the sunrise. Amy was very responsive and answered any questions timely. Can’t wait to plan our next trip!
