We visited for the first time in early September after the hubbub of summer. After our second day, we signed up for another week next year.

Great private comfortable cabin right on the water. The mountain views were amazing, the water was super clear and the dock was a great place to sit and fish. The cabin was well stocked with everything your kitchen needs. Very cozy and the screened in porch was awesome as was the generous deck size. Rest, read, swim, canoe, it has it all! We had a great time!

Well appointed cottage on a quiet lakeshore setting with beautiful views to the water and mountains.

Excellent accomodations. Fully equipped kitchen, organized, clean attention to detail throughout which made you feel like welcomed family members vs paying guests.
Water front great for swimming and a dock to sit and enjoy your morning coffee while taking in the view. Perfect placement of fire pit at the shore to enjoy s'mores with an open view for star gazing.
This one has it all.
Hope to be back next year!

My sister and I stayed here for a long weekend (9/3-9/6) and were super pleased with this house. It was very clean, with a fantastic view, set away from all the hustle and bustle but still close enough to key things like markets and restaurants. Being able to watch the bald eagle fish off the lake in front of the deck was an added bonus. We would definitely visit again! Thank you for sharing!!!

This is an excellent home to rent for a stay on a Maine lake. It is well provisioned especially in the kitchen and has a really nice screened porch that provides a clear view of Mooselookmeguntic Lake. It features a short and safe walk to the long dock that provides a great location for relaxing while you wait for the loon and duck visits. Multiple boating options are on hand, canoe and kayak variety. We hated to leave on our last morning but hope to return soon.

Fantastic all around!
We spent a week enjoying all the camp had to offer - amazing views, privacy, and relaxation. The property is very well equipped for all your vacation needs. Everything was extremely clean and in great condition. The kitchen has everything you need, and the beds and couches are comfortable. Having a dishwasher, washer, and dryer was a bonus. It is very dog friendly too! We have spent decades enjoying the Rangeley area and this camp is one of our favorites, and we hope to return! The only thing that might make it better would be comfy outdoor furniture. I would very highly recommend this place for your vacation.

Chuck A Luck Camp on Mooselookmeguntic Lake
Quiet location. Cabin fully equipped with essentials for cooking, wood for wood stove provided, linens, bedding, washer & dryer, screen porch, cleaning supplies, paper products. Most everything needed for a week at the lake was provided. However, cabin in need of maintenance and upgrading. One week was enough of a stay there. Comment about Mooselookmeguntic Lake: Very windy lake with white caps 5 out of 7 days of our stay. Not great for canoeing or kayaking. Even on days when staring off on calm water, the wind blows up fast and white caps form fast. It was a difficult & dangerous paddle back to shore on one of those occasions. Would prefer staying at a different lake if ever in the Rangeley region again. Cabin had some broken items which needed repair during our stay. Garage roof leaks on top washing machine. Screen porch door screen torn loose. Insects entering porch. Oven lock broken thus unable to use the oven until repaired mid week of our stay. Kitchen sponge and sponge washcloth for washing dishes had strong mildew odor. Odor transferred to our hands. Had to go into town to buy new a kitchen sponge. Sponge & washcloth should have been changed between renters. Would rate the cabin as "fair".

We could have not been happier. From the service Morton and Furbish provided to the Miller family for renting this beautiful memory filled camp out. All the amenities plus!! Exceptionally clean!! All one would ever need. They go above and beyond to make sure your Pets stay is just as nice. Our beagles enjoyed riding in the kayaks, swimming, long morning walks. The sunsets are out of this world. We had 1 day of rain and even that was beautiful watching it come over the mountains. We will be back for 2 weeks next year!! Very relaxing and peaceful.Read "My Old Friend" Located at the camp it's a poem written about the camp and it makes you feel welcomed. Absolutely love this spot.

Perfection
We had the best time. The cabin had a great view, wonderful location, was clean and cozy.
The owners have thought of everything you may need while there.
We spent our time grilling out, playing corn hole, hiking, kayaking, relaxing in the hammocks and taking in the gorgeous view of the water and mountains.
What a wonderful place!

Amazing stay
This camp was top notch in every way!
We had an amazing time. it was spotlessly clean, so well stocked with kitchen cookware, utensils, appliances - anything you would need. I love that they are a dog friendly rental. Our yellow lab had a ball swimming, sitting in the screened in porch which is a real treat to have when its buggy although it wasn't buggy at all. Nice breeze the whole time. Fully stocked wood supply for campfires! Comfy beds, nice grill which was also spotlessly clean. Loved the private beach area and dock. Kayaks, paddles, life jackets and swimming tubes available for use as well as a washer and dryer. We could not have asked for anything more. Will return - we fell in love with this place!

Loved the property. Everything was as described except for the beds.
the beds were listed as queen, but were double. my guests and I were large and we did not sleep well on the smaller beds. The camp was very clean and well organized and equipped. I would definitely rent the cabin again if the beds were larger.

The place had everything we could have wanted with beautiful views! The only disappointment was the fact that they lowered the water level which made it more difficult to maneuver the boat I think July is probably the ideal time for vacation!

A Wonderful Cabin!
Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at this charming, well-organized cabin. The shallow entry, privacy and view from waterfront cannot be beat and the dock is excellent. The layout was perfect for our family. We used the games, well-stocked kitchen, floats, boats, hammocks, grill and the fire pit every day!

Wonderful Family Getaway
We loved Camp Chuck-a-Luck! We have kids ranging from 2-12 and it was great for everyone. There was plenty of space inside for our little family in the event of rain, but most of our time was spent outside. The baby dug in the sand, all the kids jumped and fished off the dock, and our almost 13 year old ignored everyone in the hammocks. Fishing off the dock was great for the kids because the fish were always biting. The camp is kept up well and exactly the quiet, woodland getaway we were looking for. Oh, and viewing the stars was amazing at night!

Peaceful and charming cottage
Just a beautiful spot, very relaxing. Our family and dog enjoyed swimming in the pristine lake water surrounded by mountains. The cottage supplies kayaks and a canoe, which we made great use of. We enjoyed eating at Park & Main and the restaurant at Bald Mountain campground. I would highly recommend this cottage.
