About this house rental

We have recently upgraded our wifi which has eliminated "dead spots" so everyone in the group will have fast internet access! We have also added a new leather reclining love seat to relax in.

This property is a bright, 3-bedroom, 2-bath, 1st-floor home with an open floor plan and 2 decks, and is located only 1 street back from the beach on peaceful Bowfin Lane. The North Carolina Street public beach access is only a short 2-minute walk from the driveway. All furniture is new as of July 2020. There is enough room for ~8 people with a King master bedroom, a Queen second bedroom, and a third bedroom featuring 1 Full and 1 Twin bed - additional sleeping is available with the pull-out Queen sofa bed. The large main deck has ample seating for everyone, with a smaller deck located off of the master bedroom.

The open, fully-furnished kitchen includes granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and all typical cook ware/utensils/cups and plates. The large dining area has seating for up to 9. The spacious living room area is perfect for relaxing after a long day at the beach. Spectrum cable TV is included, and you may also log in to your Netflix/Hulu/Prime video accounts from any TV in the house.

Outside, there is parking for up to 5 cars. There is extra space below the house and in the backyard to unwind. There is also an outdoor spray station for your beach gear, and an enclosed shower to get the sand off. We have a grill and beach chairs/toys in our storage unit for your use.

This rental is located in close proximity to the beach, Ocean Grill and Tiki Bar, Granny's Kitchen, Vinny's Pizza, and Fun Time Ice Cream. Head north a few blocks closer to downtown Carolina Beach, and you'll find the boardwalk area with restaurants, bars, amusement park rides, and even the famous Britt's Doughnut shop. The town typically offers fireworks and free outdoor movies on Friday nights during the summer time, or you may even see a Netflix production being filmed! A few miles to the south is the town of Kure Beach, which features a great fishing pier, excellent dining options, and a great playground with a disc golf course. Fort Fisher is located just south of Kure; the live oaks near the fort are the perfect place to watch the sunset and the NC Aquarium is not to be missed! There is also a ferry past the aquarium where you can take a 30-minute boat ride to the town of Southport, home of many historical sites and films (eg, I Know What You Did Last Summer).

Linens are included: We supply towels, wash clothes and beach towels. The bedrooms all have their own blankets, pillows and sheets included. (1 set per room) This is a huge savings from what most linen companies charge and you'll enjoy the move in ready convenience we offer.

No pets allowed. Please note that our house has two units. We are unit 1 and have the entire first floor. The upper-level Unit 2 is separate.

Check in is at 4:00 pm on the day of arrival and and check out is at 10:00 am on the day of departure. Each guest will receive a unique code for the keypad lock that is good for the duration of your stay.

This rental was absolutely perfect for our beach trip. It was the perfect size for 6 people and in such a convenient location. It had ample parking and the addition of the hosts providing beach towels as well as other towels/linens was such a nice touch. When we had to reach out to the hosts, they were extremely prompt in responding. I would definitely book this home again for future trips!

We loved our stay in Carolina Beach and Natalie’s house was a perfect fit for our family! It had everything we needed, beach wagon, chairs, cooler, boogie boards etc. Close to the beach and a great beach town all around! We can’t wait to return!

The location is very close to the beach! The only real negative I have for the location is that it was not very clean, it also advertises that there is plenty of parking; however navigating 3 cars was a struggle. Overall was a good find for the last minute nature of the search but I would not stay at this location again strictly because of the fact that it didn’t feel very clean to me or the other guests.

The property was clean and the pictures and reviews were accurate. Spacious enough for my toddler to run around. We had trouble fitting the bedsheets but made do with the flat sheet. Lots of beach gear and easy check in and check out instructions!

My husband and our 3 children (ages 21, 18 and 15) recently rented this property and it was wonderful. There is a short walk to the walkway to the beach (1 1/2 blocks) and then a short walk from there down to the water. The beach was always clean and not very crowded. The condo has quite a bit of beach equipment (boogie boards, folding beach chairs, beach wagon) but the wind kept wanting to take the umbrella that was provided, so we opted to rent a sturdier umbrella and beach chairs for the week. There are at least 2 companies that we saw that provide this service, and they set up the umbrellas and chairs at the beginning of each day and take them down at night so that you don't have to worry about hauling them back and forth. The condo was very clean and had plenty of room for our family. There was a large family with smaller children in the condo above us and though we heard little footsteps running at times, it was otherwise very quiet. I like to run in the mornings and there is a wonderful path that appears newly constructed that is about 1/2 mile from the property. This was a great property and I would highly recommend for families, even if you have older teenagers.

This property was everything we wanted and more! It was very well stocked with all necessities. Since this was our first trip with our two children (1.5 and 2.5) I was worried about child proofing. This property was extremely kid friendly-even had books and toys for our littles to play with. It also came with a pack n play and mattress-among many other things like kid friendly plates and utensils. It was extremely clean and comfortable. My parents stayed with us for the week-and there was ample room for everyone to have their own space and privacy. You can’t beat the extremely short walk to the beach! Close to all things in Carolina Beach and Kure. We would definitely book this property again!

The property was a perfect location! The house has everything you need for a perfect beach stay!! It is also 2 minutes from the beach. You can set up on the beach and go back to the house for lunch, bathroom break, etc.! Places to eat close by and you do not have to take the car once you get there. Publix close by too!! Host's directions to get in and out of property were great! Would definitely stay again!!

This was our second year in a row visiting Carolina Beach and staying at this property to see our relatives in Wilmington and enjoy the surf. This property is a great size for our family and the kitchen has everything you need to eat in for breakfast or cook a big spaghetti dinner which we did on our first night. So great to have a large washer/dryer if needed, too. The convenience to the beach is great - we were comfortable with the early teens coming and going on their own. We will be back Natalie!

We loved this property - it is exactly as seen in the photos. Very roomy and well laid out for families. The owners were great to work with - we had to make a change in our dates because of forced airline changes and they were extremely generous and flexible with us. The walk to the beach is super close - and the beach location was less busy than north and south of us. We had an amazing time on our trip to Carolina Beach thanks to staying at this amazing property!

House was close to beach. Neighbors were very loud and previous reviews state the same, must be how house is built. Neighbors in other unit blocked storage closet downstairs in shared space everyday! Very disappointed in bug infestation. Found many although dead. Furniture upgrade needed.
