A lovely, characterful cottage, perfect for a couple. Within walking distance to the best beach in Cumbria, with pubs and restaurants on your doorstep.. 1 step to entrance.

Bedroom: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi inclued. External utility room with washing machine and bike store.. Enclosed yard with sitting-out area and garden furniture. On road parking, 40 yards; public car park free of charge, 100 yards. No smoking. Please note: there are steep, turning stairs with narrow treads in this property.. If you’re looking for a coastal break with a fantastic beach, a selection of pubs, restaurants and a shop nearby, it doesn’t get much better than St Bees. This charming terraced cottage features a comfortable double bedroom with a modern en-suite shower room. Downstairs is all open plan and offers plenty of easy seating, electric fire, TV and a small dining table, perfect to relax after a day of seaside air. The simple kitchen is well equipped with fridge, freezer and modern appliances; perfect for preparing a hearty breakfast before a day of adventure. There is also a small yard at the rear with bistro table and chairs, and a utility, which doubles up as a bike store, with a washing machine.
Situated on Finkle Street in St Bees, this cute cottage is ideal for couples who are looking for a handy base to explore the Cumbrian Coastal way and the Lake District National Park. Designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, St Bees is an idyllic base for your next holiday, and Little Nook provides everything you need for a memorable stay. It is also the starting point of Alfred Wainwright’s famous coast to coast walk. St Bees gives you good access to an abundance of fells and lakes, within a short drive.
Little Nook is only ¾-mile from a beautiful sandy beach, which is perfect for a breath of fresh air and also good for exercising your four-legged friends. Dogs are welcome to come and stay and there’s plenty of good walks locally. The famous St Bees priory dating back to the 11th century is well worth a visit, and can be accessed on foot in 5 minutes. If you like outdoor adventure including walking, cycling and climbing, you are surrounded by some amazing scenery, and you are only a 10-mile drive from the Lake District National Park. Your nearest lake is Ennerdale which is regarded as one of the most unspoilt and natural parts of the Lake District, where wildlife is abundant, including buzzards, red squirrels and osprey to name a few. If you want to climb the highest mountain in England, you can reach Wasdale Head in just 18 miles, which gives you the shortest route to the summit of Scafell Pike. Or why not take a trip on the La’al Ratty which is a miniature steam railway along the South West coast? For golfers, St Bees offers an excellent 9-hole links course. From Little Nook you’re never far from the mountains, the coast, the beaches or the lakes. Beach ¾ mile. Shop 100 yards, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
