Very friendly. Breakfast was great, and loads of options.
Very small space between toilet and wall
Signage to car park could be clearer

Picturesque village location (made the more so with an overnight snowfall) with comfortable rooms in a lovely country pub. Good pub grub for dinner and a quality English breakfast in the morning.
Nothing

Great little pub, with rooms - cosy bar/lounge, with separate restaurant area. Room was comfortable and well maintained. Food and wine were both fabulous! Slept really well and enjoyed a hearty, freshly cooked breakfast, in the morning, before the journey home. The staff we met were really lovely, and very welcoming.
The only thing I could say was a slight negative was the shower was a bit snug and the shower door didn’t shut properly - really nitpicky, but nothing that would put me off returning, in the slightest.

Lovely clean and comfortable rooms. Nice pub. Good evening meal. Lovely breakfast. Good location just off the A46.
The extractor fan in the bathroom was very loud. It wasn’t possible to put a light on in the bathroom without the fan coming on

Great base for a visit to Newark Showground. Thanks to team for allowing early pick up of key. Room comfortable and breakfast very good. Village location seemed very nice but didn't have chance to explore, nor for a drink in the bar.
No real issues, bathroom was a little compact but fine.

Very friendly, flexible, everyone was helpful. Lovely breakfast. Definitely stay again if in the area.
Being picky, be useful to have a chair in the family room.

Quiet location near to Newark. Reasonable price. Comfortable room.
Extremely stiff shower control. Broken window hinge stopped window closing fully and contributed to wind noise.

Location was ideal for our travel plans and situated in a nice village. All areas were nicely decorated. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff very pleasant. Food in general very good.
Breakfast window was quite short e.g 1 hour. The cooked breakfast was served very quickly before we had had time to finish our cereal, so we felt rushed.

Breakfast was great but would have liked a fruit option as well. Very tasty cooked breakfast with good choice. Quick and friendly service.
Beds were very comfortable with tastefully decorated room, very clean.
some peppermint or herbal teas could have been available as an alternative to tea and coffee. We would have liked the breakfast times to end a little later than 8.30.

Lovely hosts, great breakfast-nice evening meal options
Room was a little cramped, small bed was not what we’re used to-en-suite tiny. Some issues easily solved by changing furniture layout and door opening. Constant frustration in hotels that there are no sockets for overnight phone charging. Wi-Fi was temperamental
