About this cabin rental

POOL IS CLOSED FOR THE SEASON - We invite you to come enjoy Broken Bow as it was meant to be... in peaceful seclusion. Bear Trap is a 3BD, 3BA modern cabin with rustic designs located on 2 acres of pine forest. With no neighbors in site, you can enjoy our spectacular waterfall pool while listening to music, play corn hole on a giant porch or relax and watch our giant pines sway in the wind.

If you feel like fishing or kayaking, Beaver's Bend State Park is down the road. At the end of the day, chef up a meal in the elegant kitchen, warm up in the hot tub or relax on one of Bear Trap's four outside patios. At night, relax with a movie or show from Bear Trap's streaming library.

Bear trap is perfect for one or two families and can accommodate 9 guests. The cabin has two master king bedrooms, a four bed bunk room and a pull out couch. The property has a giant porch with both covered and uncovered areas, a pool, hot tub, high-end sound system, high-end appliances, outdoor grill, fire pit. Kids will love to explore in the forest and play in the creek.

Bear Trap has a local property management team to assist with guest needs.

NOTE:

THE POOL AND SPA ATTACHED TO THE POOL ARE NOT HEATED AND ONLY OPEN DURING THE WARM MONTHS (GENERALLY LATE MAY THRU SEPTEMBER, DEPENDING ON WEATHER). THE HOT TUB UNDER THE COVERED PORCH IS HEATED YEAR AROUND.

OUR PROPERTY HAS A SECURITY CAMERA IN THE TREES PAST THE TRASH CANS TOWARDS THE CABIN. THE CAMERA IS DIRECTED TOWARDS THE CABIN. THE CAMERA VIEW COVERS THE DRIVEWAY, THE ENTIRE FRONT OF THE CABIN, PART OF THE BACK PORCH, THE POOL SPA AND TOP OF THE ROCK WALL. THE CAMERA IS FOR SECURITY PURPOSES ONLY, THE PROTECTION OF OUR PROPERTY AND THE PROTECTION OF OUR GUESTS.

AN SVU IS NOT REQUIRED TO ACCESS THE PROPERTY BUT IS RECOMMENDED. AN THE DRIVEWAY CAN ACCOMMODATE 3-4 CARS BUT DOES NOT HAVE ROOM FOR TRAILERS OR BOATS TO PARK AND/OR TURN AROUND.

WE COLLECT A $1,000 REFUNDABLE, SECURITY DEPOSIT. CHARGES ARE INCURRED FOR MAJOR DAMAGE (WHICH WE CONSIDER TO BE DAMAGE ABOVE $100) AND HAVING MORE THAN 9 GUESTS ($250 PER GUEST OVER THE LIMIT).

We had a wonderful weekend at this cabin! The roads to get in and out are steep and a little rough but once there, we had a great time. The cabin is beautiful and had everything we needed. We loved every minute of our quick getaway.

Home & property were beautiful. Used hot tub one night without heat-not working. Next day it had a mildew oder,slime & dirt floating & called maintenence. They drained & cleaned it by the evening, it was a green color. Pool was sparkling first night & next day cloudy & got clouder. Asked about chlorine but told not necessary. Beds were very comfortable but when removed the sheets to wash them, the mattress cover had yellow stains on them. Could have used more that one roll of paper towels & more than two rolls of toilet paper.

This place was exactly what we needed after long days of baseball in sweltering weather. Clean, welcoming and spacious. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The deck in the mornings was cool and the trees were beautiful. A 10 for sure!

If you are looking for a luxury cabin for 5-8 members in Broken Bow 3 minutes away from Beavers Bend State Park, this is it! My family of 5 had a wonderful time here despite bad weather. The host went the extra mile to check the weather and let me know the safest time to drive before we left. She also mentioned that the view is beautiful even in the rain, which was true. The cabin itself is in top shape and has all the luxury amenities of a smart home. Despite this, there is plenty of hardwood to appeal to the ‘cabin aesthetic’. I can’t end the review without mentioning the deck. It was stunning and leads you right into the woods. There is a beautiful pool, but we weren’t able to swim in it because we aren’t in pool season yet. My husband, children, and I would love to visit again in the future. I highly recommend it for location, aesthetics, and comfort!

A picturesque setting! We loved the views and the coziness of the cabin. We have stayed in Broken Bow a lot and this is our favorite property so far! We happened to stay when an unexpected ice storm happened and Quinton was great at communicating with us and helping us be prepared !

We enjoyed our time at the Beat Trap house. Quiet and secluded. Kids enjoyed the pine forest around the home, and we enjoyed the quiet and peacefulness that surrounded us. We had everything we needed within the home. Only draw back is the road leading to the house. Thankfully I have a 4 wheel drive truck, so we didn't have any issues on the very rocky road.

The pool was very disappointing. No one would even get in because it had so much scum but my son-in-law saved the day because he know how to run the brush the helped make it at least where we could get in. That’s the reason I chose this one so my girls could get in the pool for our family weekend. It cost a lot extra and the cold tub was unusable. Other than that the house was really fun.

What a beautiful cabin and surrounding area. Everything was absolutely wonderful from the cleanliness to the oh so comfortable beds. The fireplace was amazing, both indoor and out. Oh, did I mention the shower? Just luxurious! I could go on and on. Thank you for a wonderful restful time.

Property was beautiful and cozy! Decorated with Xmas tree for our first family vacation. Had board games for all the family to play. TVs and Roku set up. My children did not want to leave!! There was a small issue upon arrival but when contacting host, he helped resolve the issue immediately. Only complaint There were a few nails that were loose upstairs. Great atmosphere, easy entertainment, cozy beds. Hoping to return some day.

To much chemical in the Hot tub bleached and ruined our bathing suits, lots of hair in the beds up by the head boards, the screws in the deck sticking up ripped a hole in my sock. The fireplace on the back porch worked for about 15 minutes turned off and would not turn back on, the sink in the down stairs restroom leak’s, then vent hood fan on the microwave would not turn off so I unplugged it. These are the only negative things we found. We loved everything else about this place. We would stay here again.

The place was very nice and was what we were expecting. The only thing was the neighbor had equipment delivered and worked over the weekend. I thought it was a bit more secluded then it was, but I also understand with so much building going on, things like this happen. The TV and speakers were a bit confusing, but maybe its just because we are getting older and not used to that kind of setup. The pool water was indeed pretty cool as mentioned it might be, but we got used to it after a little bit. We were looking for a quite get away and that is what we got. Thanks!!

Amazing property!!

Amazing property!!

My mom, sister, and my self take a vacation together every year. This property was enjoyed by our entire group. We range in age from 68 to 6 months. My adult children had a wonderful time as well as the kiddos. We had one small problem getting the grill to light but the property owner assisted us very quickly. Only thing I would suggest is to not take a small vehicle. The road to the property is pretty rough. Will revisit this property for sure!!
