great location for eastside bars and restaurants. Only complaint was broken garbage disposal and worn/sticky couch

No electricity and the property manager refused a refund. Totally bizarre experience

The place and location is great

The apartment and location are a 10/10. Very rustic loft on an eclectic part of East 6th. Easy walk to downtown and South Congress. The condo was very comfortable. The detail that kept it from a perfect 5 star was the cleanliness. There were lots of examples that showed us that the apartment was not properly cleaned before we arrived. We contacted property management and they partially remedied the issues. Some issues, like the hot water faucet in the main bedroom not working, could not be remedied. Advanced knowledge of this detail would have been appreciated. Notwithstanding, this listing has a lot of positives and, overall, I would highly recommend it.

We loved the place. Everything sparkly clean. Pictures describe place great. Location right next to bars and restaurants.
The key process to get in is a little complicated. Would be better to have parking in this location.

This loft apartment is beautifully situated in a part of Austin that made getting around to the downtown area and to all that E. 6th St. has to offer easy and accessible . The apartment was beautifully furnished and very spacious. The one downside was a little bit of noise at night, but with earplugs it was fine. So many things are within walking distance: food, groceries, entertainment, hike and bike trail… we rented electric bikes that were located right in front of the apartment building and soon were riding around Town lake. Lovely! I do highly recommend!

Enjoyed our weekend w friends for my husbands 60th birthday. Perfect location for walking to restaurants and bars. Safe area. Pictures are accurate and highly recommend!! Place was clean and comfortable on the inside (grounds around the place had a lot of beer cans and trash) kinda confusing checking in but we managed and was actually comical when we figured it all out.
Communication was all automated responses with no one to actually contact (the way of the world today)
We did a couple of walking food tours that started just down the street. Would definitely stay here again.

The design, details, and furnishings are all very thoughtfully designed and comfortable. It has big features like a giant kitchen and walk-in shower, and little things like soft towels, nice art, coffee and filters and a fascinating book collection. Also, so many good trucks and restaurants nearby!

The location is great with tons of bars and restaurants in walking distance, as well as a Whole Foods and mini Target just a couple blocks away for any essentials. The master bedroom is huge with a walk in closet and private bathroom and second bedroom is also nice with private bath. The beds are very comfortable and there are blackout curtains. The living/dining/kitchen space is really nice, bright and open. We were there in November so the deck was amazing - a great place for morning coffee or dinner/drinks after a long day. The apartment included essentials like paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, dish soap, coffee filters, laundry detergent, etc. there are three locked doors to access to get into the apartment so we felt secure. Parking is easy, the Park ATX app can be used remotely, but you have to pay 8am-midnight and it’s not cheap. Even factoring that cost into the price, we felt this was a great value for a terrific location.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was perfect. The loft itself had everything we needed and was super comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for just over a week and enjoyed our stay. The location is very convenient and the outdoor patio was perfect for our weather. For anyone worried about city noise, there were a few weekend nights when the noise was higher but it wasn't anything unusual and quieted right down by midnight. A city bike rental stop is right at the door and I enjoyed riding down Waller st. to ride around the lake paths each day. For anyone wanting to cook in, verify the oven is fixed before you go. We opted not to have them come in for repairs and I'm sure they'll fix it.

We loved our stay at this loft! The location was fantastic and the property was both clean and comfortable.

It was perfect for me and my family. Restaurants are within walking distance. Great place!

This was a nice loft apartment conveniently located. Our only compliant was that the linens were thread bare and very few of them. We were a group of three, we received three bath towels, three facecloths and two hand towels for our three day stay.

Very nice. Sleeper sofa and futon surprisingly very comfortable. Well stocked with sheets, towels, blankets, etc. however, parking is difficult and expensive. But, that can be overcome with Uber. Very very nice.

The location was amazing. Everything was within walking distance. The pictures represent just how the apartment looks. Check in and check out went very smooth

Nice urban space and neat neighborhood and still walking distance to lots of cool things. Large balcony was great!

We rented for ACL and were thrilled with the location and fabulous restaurants nearby that we took advantage of during our four-day stay. The space has great lighting and good furnishings. The bed was very comfortable.
We were informed that the dishwasher was not working, which was not an issue for us since we ate every meal out, but the day we left water was coming out from under the appliance and we alerted the staff.
There is a nice patio area, but towards the end of the stay the dumpsters near the building became pungent due to the holiday weekend.
I would rent this property again. The convenience is great and we enjoyed the feel of the neighborhood.
3.0
The loft was clean and very nicely appointed. The communication with the management company was excellent. The bedrooms were not as described in the listing. There is only one bed in the second bedroom. The other beds are a futon in the foyer and a pull out living room couch. But, I did inquire when I rented, so I knew this ahead of time. My biggest complaint is that we felt very unsafe in the neighborhood. My husband was menacingly approached by a homeless man right outside our entryway, and there are homeless individuals lying passed out on every block. As a woman, I would not walk outside alone. I know this is not the owner’s fault, but renters need to know about the area.

This city loft was just what we were hoping for. The rooftop deck is amazing and beds were super comfy. Huge dining table, great kitchen, great location. Fantastic!

Great flat in a nice area of Austin. Easy scooter commute to 6th Street or walk and plenty of great food choices within blocks. Beds were super comfortable, even the pullout I was told was pretty good. Living furniture could be a little more comfy for more than 2 people but okay. Couch was good, but the “tea” chairs gotta go, no use of them in the space.

We had a remarkable time! Perfect location for EVERYTHING!!

We did not realize just how close everything was to this place! If you're looking for a place to stay while having a good time on 6th, this is it!! Just make sure you walk down the little hill to the left when you exit the main loft door for easier access to the good stuff! Side note: We were able to pay for parking right outside the loft! (but it was also a weekday, and wasn't busy)

Great base camp near downtown
Awesome location - just a few minutes to walk to nearly everything. A/C was awesome to come back to after 100 degree days. Would recommend!

5 Days in Austin
We had a wonderful time in Austin. The location was convenient to restaurants, sites, and grocery stores. I traveled with my son and his girlfriend; we had plenty of space. We loved spending time out on the patio in the evening in the mornings and after dinner. The loft was clean, comfortable, and spacious.

Great place for bbq
Stayed here with a friend to hit all the big bbq joints in the area. It is pretty central which is awesome.
Unit is great and well provisioned. Spent a bunch of time on the rooftop patio.

GREAT LOCATION
We visited Austin for my husband's 50th birthday and this property is in the best location. We walked everywhere. It is close to everything. The rooftop deck is a great place to relax and rewind. Bed was very comfy.

30th Birthday Trip
We stayed here with friends for my husband's 30th birthday trip. The apartment is spacious and perfect for 2 couples. We loved having the patio to have coffee on in the mornings, and wine at night. The East Austin neighborhood was in my opinion way more fun than downtown/6th street. It was super safe to walk around and TONS of restaurants/food trucks/bars/breweries within a few blocks. Also a Whole Foods, Target and CVS a block away. We were there 5 days and didn't even feel like we had enough time to try everything we wanted to. If you do want to venture to 6th street/downtown its a quick walk (10-15 mins).
One thing I want to point out to others so they don't make our mistake is that the parking garage a block away behind the food market is $$$. We were charged $200 for 2 nights of parking. I'd recommend researching better than we did so you aren't stuck in that same scenario.

Great spot
Cozy apartment, very comfortable, in a fun neighborhood. Be aware that parking, while not difficult to obtain, is expensive.

Gorgeous loft, perfect location
This place is amazing! It's a perfect location in up and coming East Austin, quiet, yet walking distance to cool restaurants, bars and music. We also walked to Lady Bird Lake from there. It basically has 2 master suites, great for couples. We loved hanging out in the spacious living area. We definitely want to stay here again when we come to Austin. The property manager was very helpful too.

Loved the location of this loft. The design of the loft and access to the terrace are fantastic. Was a perfect spot for a getaway and a chance to catch up with friends.

Ideal Abode
This loft was the perfect midweek getaway for me and my partner! We loved the spacious main room, cozy beds, modern showers, vintage architecture books, and especially enjoyed the highly effective AC during our summer stay. East 6th is one of our favorite neighborhoods, and with so many excellent places nearby on foot we rarely used local transit. This home encouraged us to feel like we were a part of the local community, and we will certainly be staying here again in the future!

Fantastic Neighborhood
Our group loved being seconds away from so many beautiful restaurants and incredible bars, and just a short drive away from everything Austin has to offer. The loft itself was beautiful and so spacious, and the property manager was very easy to communicate with when we ran into a few issues. Highly recommend!

Great location and vibe!
We so enjoyed our stay at the loft. It was a beautiful spot with a great vibe. The location was perfect as we could walk to plenty of great restaurants or jump on the highway to get around the city or head out to the hill country. The space was perfect for 3-4 people but could certainly accommodate 6. It had all the supplies we needed for cooking, cleaning, bathing and laundering which we really appreciated. Beds were very comfortable. The outdoor patio was an added bonus.

Everything was as described
This place is awesome and close to down town. Only issue we had was street parking was a little hard to find and adds up, which is no fault of the property but is something you need to think about while booking

Centrally Located Apartment
We stayed at the Charmer for two nights, and would recommend it to anyone visiting Austin. It was spotless, firm mattresses, and a fully equipped kitchen. Check-in/out procedures were well-explained and simple. The only downside is that the living room could have used one comfortable-the position of the two-person sofa made it difficult for two people to watch the tv.
