. cleanliness is excellent
. the room was extremely small - I felt like in a tiny house
. the room was very noisy - due to the vicinity to the main road - there was heaps of traffic passing by the close street

The dinner was tasty, breakfast was personalised + local and the new touch everywhere was very nice.
At the breakfast I was missing simple products like an egg and some vegetables.
The location next to the busy and loud road combined with a warm room was not pleasant at all.

Parking was plenty, breakfast was just right, fresh sparkling water in the room, and comfy down blanket all made it a good stay. Restaurant down stairs liked great but I was too tied to eat. Adjacent to hotel was a Gin Distillery and beer brewing company.
Next to road but earplugs were provided.

The property is in the UNESCO Biosphere area which is amazing. We went for walks and hikes and it was a perfect location to quickly leave and come back. The wooden interior was beautiful and the bathroom was lovely - excellent shower. Very clean! Small and cozy and interesting room. Tiny house vibes.
We had a room where we had to climb a (very steep) ladder to get to the bed. This was fairly annoying - especially when needing to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and I have a knee injury which made this uncomfortable. The bed was comfortable, however, the pillows were too flat! It was also very hot and no air conditioning and so we opened the windows. This caused a lót of traffic noise from the road in which our room was situated against to enter the room and we lost a lot of sleep because of these factors. It was just incredibly hot and loud. Next to that; the rooms arent isolated properly - we were able to hear our neighbours talk and the snoring was annoying as well. Perhaps this explains the earplugs that were provided by the bed.
Breakfast was included and was ok; very minimal choice - cozy setting and lovely outside terrace however.
Last thing; during check in we were a bit annoyed by the person checking us in. We dont know whether she was nervous or uncomfortable but we were tired and she was acting all "ooooh and aaaah" about my name, my signature and she seemed to be consistently flirting with my partner, which he did not enjoy. It left an annoying impression on us both.
We would like to mention however that we are very grateful to the lady who let us have some breakfast after we overslept on our first morning due to a terrible night sleep because of heat and noise. Thank you!
All in all; great location but too overpriced for what we prefer.

So clean, beautiful design, lovely comfortable bed and great shower. Enjoyed the breakfast and terrace option. It's very clean and staff is absolutely wonderful and so helpful and kind.
The road was somewhat noisy, it's not something the hotel can't do much about, with closed windows you are good though. The attic during my stay got very warm, and that's specific for my room I know other spaces don't have that. Which hardly happens I assume in Switzerland. Also I could easily hear other guests (read have sex) the wall are not sound proof. Which again, I'm not complaining about, just observation.
