Delightful!

Stunning view from a charming stone apartment. It is scrupulously clean, and with a welcoming bottle of wine. There are two apartments, the upper one is the Terrace (? I think?) and the lower one is the Yard. We were in the lower, which has one bedroom. I think the upper has two bedrooms. Each apartment has a private terrace and a private balcony.

It’s quite a climb up. We didn’t mind that at all, and it’s how you get those beautiful views, but be aware that what are marked as roads in Google maps are often stairs, so be prepared to haul your luggage!

Charming studio with an amazing view

A beautiful, spacious and well-equipped studio with an amazing view of Poros port. It sure is a bit of a climb, but trust us, the view is worth every single step and drop of sweat! The apartment was clean, had a good wifi and came with all the amenities that we could have hoped to need on our 4-night stay. If you rent a vehicle (we rented a scooter for 3 days), we recommend to drive it along the road that leads up the hill (towards the Old Windmill) and park it on the top, right above the apartment. This saved us from navigating the tiny streets down the hill and climbing up and down!

View indeed was impressive.

No WiFi at all ((( password which owner showed as WiFi is not valid… so we were not connected and it was a problem. I wrote about it to the owner but problem was not solved. Some women arrived with no English and just pointed to the sticker WiFi which was not valid. So we had to search for WiFi in restaurants and beaches. It is also quite complicated to find location. Owner did not leave any indications and did not pick up phone which was mentioned in the contacts. So it was a challenge to find it.

An excellent appartment with a breathtaking view from the balkony. Its a bit of a climb to get there, but it's definitely worth it. The hosts were super kind and welcoming. The appartment was clean, spacious and beautiful.

cannot stress enough that it is worth the hike uphill to benefit from the spectacular views

very comfortable studio in fabulous setting with fantastic views

obviously to benefit from the superb views at this studio, it means that you will be at the top of the hill but it would have been useful to have this pointed out in the description just how much walking and steps there would be and the best route to get there. we were lost and wasted a lot of time and extra effort (with luggage) trying to find it but the final destination was a joy! in hindsight, with luggage it would’ve been better to get a taxi on arrival. a parasol for the patio for extra shade would be useful.

The 700 metres from the port to the property are nearly vertical, it’s a steep climb and not for the infirm unless you get a taxi, but we felt definitely worth it for the stunning views.

Hard to find, no instructions from the owner. You need to be athletic to reach the apartment. There was no hot water, the utilities were very dirty. I put a 9 for the views, but the apartment itself it’s a 5

Great apartment, fabulous view

The apt, actually a house, is located on the hill above Poros. The view was fabulous. I wish we had stayed longer! Everything was very clean. The house was spacious with the small balcony and a large terrace outside with a table.The kitchen was fully equipped.

Only for the fittest

The view was great. The room was clean and a nice bottle of wine was waiting on arrival.

The location was really tricky. No help or guidance was offered on finding the place so we had no idea we would be in for such a difficult and hard climb with all of our luggage. Luckily we are reasonably fit so could manage all of the uphill walking in the heat, but it limited our ability to go back and forth as we would have liked, and would have been impossible for an unfit/infirm person to manage. Made even worse by the fact that there were no facilities nearby. Nobody was there to greet us and when we phoned the owner to ask how to get in he was very abrupt/unfriendly (did we disturb his siesta?) Some time later a lady came and let us in. This doesn't seem too inconvenient but given how long we had walked/struggled to find the place the extra hassle was very dissapointing. Finally, although the view was great it can be seen from many, many other parts of Poros. The tiny size of the balcony and the abandoned look of the terrace area mean it couldn't be enjoyed in any kind of special way. The listing should be honest about the location as with the right expectations a lot of our disappointment could have been managed (or we could have chosen somewhere else)

Everything corresponds to the above. We were greeted by a friendly hostess. When some problems arose, she immediately helped solve them. Also, after moving, we had a good bottle of wine and fruit. The house has everything for cooking yourself, which is very convenient. Also all for washing if necessary. I recommend. Very cozy. And also a very nice view on the balcony.

We liked everything, there were no complaints.

Could have been better

Beautiful view, clean, easy check-in process, very sweet house manager who came to help with any issues.

I wish I could have given it a better rating, but I ran into some troubles at the very beginning with the hot water and the heating and electricity not working. I'm rather understanding of these things, as winter in Greece sometimes presents these issues, however the host was very combative when I brought up the issues, which was frustrating. However, she did tackle everything the next day which was much appreciated. I was also traveling with my dog, and in the area just behind the house, there are some stray dogs who chased us down the hill which was very frightening. Perhaps in the summertime things are different, and I wish the host a lot of success in the New Year.

Brilliant find

The facilities and bits and pieces left for your use are brilliant. Essentials as in tea sugar water and even a bottle of wine. Air con in both living room and bedroom... wifi...large screen tv and nice patio area. The view from the balcony and patio is off a postcard. Staff had thought four people were arriving and had set up sofa bed......and took it down when they realised only two were there to give us extra space.

The walk up is testing in the heat but I think a cab can drop you close.

The apartment is located up the hill, and it is a bit difficult to reach on foot. You have to go up and down to the city to the marina area.

Very good

The property consists of two levels. We rented the lower one. The best feature of the property is the view. On the lower level you don't have a balcony, but have your private terrace near the apartment. The apartment was very clean and looked nice. You can see it's quite new and we liked the design. The bed and pillows are new and comfortable. There's a small kitchen inside with a cooking surface and plenty of glasses, cups, plates, etc. And a coffee machine. We haven't used any of that but for longer stays it may be useful. Air-conditioning works very well too, so it's up to you whether to open windows for sea breeze or use the aircon. The host was flexible with check-in time and we appreciated it. Martha , the lady who met us there, was very nice and showed us everything we needed. Another great feature is quietness. The apartment is quite high, so you don't hear the noise of the town.

The apartment is on higher streets of the town and you should be fit to get there on foot. If you are travelling with suitcases it's better to take a taxi. Also, the apartment doesn't have a sign, which would make finding it easier.
