NEW build fall 2020 - has a covered patio/ Right in the heart of wine country -couple of miles in either direction are several wineries, breweries and distillery! Although cabin is NOT on waterfront -you may enjoy the view of Seneca Lake in most any direction - -I bedroom(queen bed with linens and blankets/pillows) 1 bath(shower, toilet,sink)towels- -kitchenette - table chairs, sofa, chair- TV/wifi ( Hulu provided) internet - DVD player(some movies) , books & puzzles. Cooking utensils, plates and silverware provided. outside picnic area with gas grill, fire pit & wood. Cabin decor. - NO PETS - NO parties - adults over 21 - smoking outside only. Not handicap accessible- Close to wineries -20 mins to Watkins Glen race course. 1/2 mile to swimming -boat launch -

What a great little cabin! You get the best of both worlds…a private wooded environment just steps from the shore of Seneca Lake. And wineries and breweries so close by! Sue and Henri do all they can to make you feel at home and avoid bringing half of your house by supplying linens, towels, and even fresh coffee and half and half! We spent 4 nights in the adorable place and felt like we were at home every night. Someone else wrote that the bed is hard…it is far from hard! Very comfortable (as long as your husband doesn’t take up the whole bed! Ha) We will return when the weather is more cooperative so we can put our jet ski in the water! Mel and Ty

We stayed for 5 nights at Christine's Cabin to enjoy wineries and meet friends at Seneca Lake. This has become an annual event for us and we have stayed at this cabin for the last several years. It is an excellent location to explore wineries on Seneca and Keuka Lakes and see friends in the area.

We enjoyed having the cabin as home base for our exploration of the Finger Lakes region, and the area is quiet and private. The only thing that would be better is a clearer view of the lake itself. Overall, though, it was a great getaway!

Perfect cottage for two people. Located in a quiet area. Learned a valuable lesson, if power goes out don't take it for granted that it will come back on soon. Get some ice. We ended up throwing out a $100.00 worth of food. Outside of that it was a very nice place, we enjoyed it.

The cabin was so clean and the little neighborhood was so cute. 10 min from Watkins Glen and there are breweries and wineries all over the place ! Definitely recommend staying here !

It’s impossible to enjoy a day of vacation after trying to sleep on the mattress. The TV is possibly the 1st flatscreen ever produced, picture quality is terrible. Everything else was ok but there is no redeeming a terrible night of sleep.

This is the third time my partner and I have stayed at Christine's Cabin, and we plan on returning again next year. First, its location is incredible; it's about a block from the lake and close to incredible hikes and wonderful wineries. The cabin itself is clean and uncluttered. They recently installed a mini-split unit which ensures that the cabin will remain a comfortable temperature regardless of the weather. The owners are friendly and communicative which makes the environment even more stress free. We can't wait to go back!

We loved our stay at Christine's Cabin. All the comforts of home on one level. The cabin was clean and well-equipped. Made a campfire, (wood provided) our first night there and sat outside in the Adirondack rockers. We also cooked our dinner on the gas grill and ate on the patio. Lovely evening and so relaxing. The location was perfect. Close to Watkins Glen and many wineries in the area. The Finger Lakes distillery was right down the road with music on the patio. The cabin was a perfect place to relax after a day of hiking, waterfalls and wineries.

The cabin was clean and nice -- and just as advertised. We were there after Labor Day so there is no swimming at Smith Park (no lifeguard= no swimming). It is close to many wineries and everything Watkins Glen offers. The hosts were easy to reach and very responsive.

Very convenient place to stay. VRBO was tiny but that was expected. Perfect for the two of us, especially since we intended to use it only as a home base between activities like winery visits. Location was great. The host Sue was very kind and responsive! Neighbors were friendly!

We stayed for another 4 nights at Christine's Cabin on Seneca Lake. This was our third or fourth time to rent this cabin (I've lost count). It is our go-to rental on Seneca Lake. Couldn't ask for a better location - central to wineries and easy access to Watkin's Glen as well. We will be back.

My wife and I had a great time at Seneca and Cayuga lake. Sue and Henry were very nice! The cabin was cozy and in a prime location. Great air conditioning! If I could find any faults it would be with the mattress. I'm use to a king memory foam so that could be my problem.Otherwise a very nice place. Thanks again Henry and Sue. We will be back. The cabin was incredibly clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing week to celebrate our anniversary. There is so much to do around Seneca Lake - hiking, wineries, breweries, and shopping plus getting out on the lake itself! Henry and Sue were easy to work with and communication was a breeze.

We came to Watkins Glen for a weekend race and found this cottage perfect in location and size for my wife and I. We enjoyed the drive along the lake and patronized the local eateries. The cottage was clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend.

This place is just what my wife and I needed for the few nights we were staying on the east side of Seneca Lake. Sue and Henry was a very responsive and courteous host. Would recommend this place for anyone needing a place to stay while the sightsee on the that side of Seneca.

This is the second year we've stayed at Christine's Cabin. The cabin is clean, updated, and relatively private. Seneca Lake is less than two blocks from the cabin, and Henry and Sue were kind enough to let us use their dock to launch our kayak and take in the views. This is a perfect place to stay if you want access to all of the amazing things that the Finger Lakes have to offer. If we're able, we'll be coming back to Christine's Cabin again next year. Had a terrific stay. The cottage was perfect. Very clean with very nice décor. The owners were very responsive and made themselves available if anything was needed. The location was great on a nice quiet lane and right in the heart of the Seneca Wine Trail. We will definitely return again.

The cabin was so quaint and cozy. It was very roomy and well stocked. The owners were very responsive to messages. There were cute little added touches that made it feel extra homey! I won’t ruin the surprises but we definitely recommend it! The only draw back was no access to water within walking distance but you can plan to be at one of the many wineries or public lake areas during sunrise or sunset.

This was the perfect little getaway for a couple! We really enjoyed our stay!! All the things you need for cooking in one place along with a peaceful experience all around! The mattress on the bed could stand to be updated, it is a bit uncomfortable, but that is the only thing I can think of that needs improvement!

We stayed at Christine's Cabin again this year (3rd stay there). The experience has been improved with a new portable air conditioner, which works better than the old one they had in the bedroom window last year. Otherwise everything was pretty much the same which is perfect for our needs. Location is great for visiting Seneca :Lake wineries and for meeting friends who live in the area. Will likely rent this place again next year.
