Property was clean and rooms were spacious, but storage areas need to be cleared of items and food left by previous guests. Overall though, the stay was enjoyable

The lodge was great though at 95 degrees during the day, A/C would have been great as there was none! Lost of bedrooms for the family and the lower level was great for kids! Since it sleeps up to 19, an extra fridge would have been nice. The location at the end of a cul-de-sac was fantastic with little traffic. The place needs some TLC regarding deck railing and a few newer more solid outdoor deck chairs. We had a great time and enjoyed the days were had together very much. Thank you.

Loved the layout, bedroom to bath ratio and amenities provided at the cabin. Lots of games to choose from, game tables etc. Let the owner know about a couple of broken things when we got there and a confident they will resolve for future guests. They were very responsive to texts. Be aware the cabin does not have AC (consistent with the listing information)m. We were there during a very hot week but fans got us through. Nearby golf and club pool (for reasonable fee) were enjoyed.

Cabin was very nice and clean. Our family had a great time. Definitely would stay again

Spacious, comfortable with plenty of room for 13 people.Beautiful rooms.
One issue: the house needs a major clean-out...most of the storage spaces were filled with other peoples junk. It was a challenge since there was no space to store our own food and belongings. Kitchen should be cleared of opened food items. I would never use someone's opened food left in the cupboard or fridge. Throw it away.
Otherwise a very nice stay

This home worked well for our family reunion. There was plenty of rooms and space for all of us, and a nice big table we could all sit at for meals and games.

The home was very comfortable, and large enough to provide several private bedrooms with ready access to bathrooms. This rental was in a beautiful mountain setting and provided a feeling of privacy. Parking was tight but doable. There was no flat outside space to allow for outdoor games, and although fans were provided, there was no A/C. Overall, this rental is a good choice and we would stay there again.

We had a wonderful time in this nice home, which accommodated our large family of us and our daughters and families.
The house handles a large family well and Meadowcreek is amazing! We loved this log home.
We did find a few things to improve, but I will communicate those to the manager, mainly to do with maintenance of the property.

This log cabin had amazing architecture. We had plenty of room for our group of 15. The kids had the loft all to themselves and the adults enjoyed the game room. The wood burning fireplace was a huge hit and we had plenty of wood. The kitchen had a plethora of condiments, soups, even pancake mix and syrup. It was well stocked with cooking supplies like blender, crockpot, 2 coffee makers, baking sheets and cook pans I would like to say the main floor sofas need replacing and you might want to bring your own bedding. No one complained about the comfort of the mattresses but they were older and squeaked every time some one moved. There is a great sledding hill right out the back door. The view was serene and quiet. Our group had an wonderful time.

We had a wonderful couple of days playing in the snow and sitting around the fire laughing and talking. It's perfect for a large group. Lots of bedrooms and beds, very large kitchen table for eating and playing games, etc. We loved how each bedroom had it's own heat control. We were completely comfortable here!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Lots of room to spread out, loved all the activities available for the kids. With 5 family units it was nice to have seven bedrooms and the loft. Kitchen worked well for us.. Enjoyed the fireplace. We hope to return next year.

Okay, weekend. Property listed online to have 7 single beds in loft and 6 king or queen beds. Listed to sleep a total of 19, but only sleeps 18. On arrival it only had 4 single beds in loft, and 5 king or queen beds. The pellet stove down stairs was under construction. One of the bedroom heaters did not work, bedroom was VERY cold without heater or working pellet stove. Frustrating because none of this was disclosed before our arrival.

an excellent and cozy cabin perfect for a large family, and to distract from the daily routine, we will definitely return to it.

We enjoyed our family reunion very much. There were some cleanliness issues, but these were addressed rapidly by the owner, who is taking our input quite seriously and likely investigating to see if a new cleaning company might be in order. We were very pleased with her response. That is why the property gets a five star review from us.
Other things to consider - the deck. It is GORGEOUS, but not very functional. It doesn't seem very safe plus it needs a good sanding so that slivers of wood don't stick out. Again - promised to be addressed by the owner.
The second thing to consider is the distance from McCall. It is not close - about 20+ minute drive. However, the housing area has a nice pond and park at its entrance, it is secluded and quiet, and very, very beautiful.
All in all, we liked it a lot. If it has a proper cleaning, and the deck is repaired, we would probably do it again!

Our trip began with being locked out, the code didn't work. The housekeeper hadn't come, we started washing bedding, so we had clean sheets to sleep in. The manager was sorry about the mess and refunded that night. It had a game room shown in photos, but the b- ball game was broken, the ping pong net was broken, paddles were missing pads. There wasn't a/c and no blinds on windows upstairs and it was hot. The oven didn't work right, the top wouldn't be cooked and the bottom would be burned. The couches were beat up with patches all over them. It is a nice location, the house had plenty of room, just needs some updates and tlc.

We gathered at this spacious and beautiful log cabin with 3 generations of family. There were 17 of us in all: my husband's parents, the Greats, ourselves, 6 of our children, 2 with spouses, 3 with girlfriends/boyfriend, and 2 grandchildren. There were beds for all the couples and singles and lots of room to spend time together or apart. We loved the tall ceilings and the wood/logs creating this home. It was hot while we stayed, but the basement stayed cool and fans upstairs kept it pleasant. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms upstairs to keep it cool at night. Big kitchen (and pantry area) with everything we needed for cooking large meals. We really appreciated the extras, like foil and plastic wrap, as well as all the dishes and utensils available for preparing meals. Large bedrooms, 7 plus the loft! Grandchildren loved the toys up there!
There isn't really any yard area here. There is a wrap around deck (dangerous in some areas for small kiddos) and a place was found in the beautiful setting of trees for a couple of hammocks to be put up to relax outdoors. We took a day trip to Ponderosa Park to play in the water and spent some time in the cute little town of McCall. At the house, we enjoyed family meals and games at the large table as well as the game room downstairs. Our family really enjoyed this house!! The owner was wonderfully responsive to all my questions! Thank you!!

Great property and very accommodating for a large party. The parking was a little challenging, for more than several vehicles. The basement area was a great place to hang out and stayed cool for a very hot weekend.

Memorial Weekend Stay
We had an amazing weekend here! The cabin is in a really nice wooded area behind the golf course. It fit 4 small families very nicely. The place was pretty clean overall and was very well stocked with everything we needed. We loved how many rooms there were and all the fun activitites for kids. The grill worked nicely for what we needed and had plenty of extra propane. The beds were all pretty comfy and perfect for what we needed although not as advertised on the website. (Instead of four king rooms and 2 queen rooms and a loft, there were actually 2 king rooms on the main floor, 1 queen room on the main floor, 3 queen rooms and one room with two twin beds in the basement. The loft had 4 single beds for kids.) There is a little upkeep that definitely needs to happen with the deck. There was a lot of stuff in the fridge/freezer as far as condiments and such that made it a little tricky to fit all our food, but we managed. The heaters at night don't regulate super well. Overall though, we had an amazing time and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Winter Carnival Family Gathering
This home had plenty of room for my large family. It was a wonderful home! The only issue was parking due to snow and ice built up in the driveway. That is unavoidable in the winter in this area, but made it difficult for all of our vehicles to park by the house. Other than that, we had a great time and would rent that home again in the future!

Arizonans Trip
Pamela, our host, was excellent! She answered all of our questions quickly and provided all necessary information before and after we got to the property. As for the property, it was very nice except it does need a few repairs (which is why I have it an overall 4). Some of the railing outside was loose. One of the bedrooms heat didn't work so 2 of my family members had to sleep on the couch and recliner in the basement. Everything else was very nice and we really enjoyed our stay!

Very disatisfied
This place has been let go. The railing on the deck was broken, if you had leaned on it would have broken and it was a 12 ft. drop. The decking was rotted and the nails were sticking out all over.If I would have had my grand children I would have left. No power in the master suite. The garbage was full when we got there and they told me to "Put it in the garage and they would come and get it". when we opened the garage there was a mountain of garbage that they never did come and get. The windows were full of flys and bugs and dirt. The cupboards were full of outdated food and the fridge was full of empty containers. It is a beautiful home that has had no maintaince for a long time. This house does not meet VRBO standards.

Wonderful Property
Pamela was a awesome host. Always willing to answer questions. This house in perfect for large family get togethers. We had space for everyone. Be prepared to hear everything, but that just comes with the wood cabin? Would definitely stay again.

Loved the cabin
Had to move a lot of left over food items to make room for us - was unexpected (take it home or throw it away people:) Worked around any issues - we had a great get together!

Lots of space
The cabin was very spacious we had room for 9 adults and 3 children. Loved the location so peatland quite, beautiful area. The pool option was also nice. The cabin was well stocked. The power went out at 7 am the morning of our departure, so we were unable to run dishwasher or put towels in for clean up. There was a mouse under one of the beds dead in a trap that had been there quite awhile, we disposed if it. Overall it was perfor our large group

Super beautiful cabin!! Perfect place for a large family reunion. Came stocked with sheets, towels, garbage bags, soap, shampoo, etc. Lots of board games and foosball downstairs too. Pamela was a great host and was always available to answer my messages. Note there is no A/C, but there are ceiling fans in the 3 bedrooms on the main floor. The basement stays very cool. There is also a bedroom in the basement with no bed in it, that's perfect for air mattresses or sleeping pads. Also fyi, the community pool costs $10 per adult, and $5 for kids.

Beautiful cabin that needs a new cleaning crew
I want to preface this review with the fact that the owner seems amazing, refunded one night’s stay and the cleaning fee and promises to hire a new cleaning person… Six couples rented this cabin for a weekend getaway. Check in process was super easy. When we arrived, the cabin was filthy. The toilets/showers had not been cleaned, had urine and hair all over them, the floors had not been swept or mopped, the coffee pot had grounds from the previous guest, the microwave had something exploded and grease on the inside, no one had moved the counter appliances to wipe the counter of crumbs, etc. and we spent the first six hours of our check in time cleaning the cabin and stripping beds and doing laundry. The owner as previously stated, was amazing and responded immediately, was super apologetic and mortified at the lack of cleaning that her cleaning person had done As I sent her numerous photos of what we had to come into. She was very gracious and refunded us one night stay as well as the cleaning fee because of the work that we had to do. It is a beautiful home with great bedrooms that accommodate large groups, the common areas are amazing and large, the very long “last supper table“ was fantastic and all 12 of us were able to sit and eat dinner together. All four bathrooms are great. The loft upstairs would be great if you had little kids because I think that’s technically the seventh bedroom there are no doors but it would be great if you had several people who wanted to sleep in an open area together. The fire pit is on a slope we were going to try and do the fire pit but it’s kind of on a sloppy little hillside so we decided against that but the fireplace inside the house is amazing. The only thing wrong with this house was the cleaning person and I’m sure after our weekend the owner is going to find someone new to clean her beautiful home. We would love to rent the home again as a group with a new cleaning person in place. I would have no reservations about it at all.

Beautiful well appointed log cabin
Absolutely beautiful log cabin. Tons of room with board games for any age. The game room was a big hit as the weather kept us in. Communication with property manager was great! Would definitely like to stay again later this year.

Big house, room for everybody
The house was big, lots of room for everybody. It wasn't the cleanest. Rugs didn't seemed vacuumed, frig had opened container of orange juice and other opened condiments, one bathroom had used bar of soap with hair on it in the shower, the other bathroom toilet had urine and hair on the outside of the toilet in the front of it. The front room cofee table was all sticky. It seemed like the cleaning crew was in a hurry and had little time to cleaned and just skipped over a bunch of things. Expected the house to be clean.
