Nice hotel located in a tea garden

I stayed at this hotel on my way back from Darjeeling, and it was a very good decision. The hotel is really beautiful and is surrounded by a tea garden, allowing me to take a morning walk through the tea garden, which was a beautiful experience and highly recommended. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, the staff were helpful and friendly, and the food was good.

I booked a room with a jungle view but got room with a view to a roof (see attached picture). There was some repair work under my room, all the evening a man worked with a hummer which was noisy and annoying

Fantastic

Breakfast was great. Lots of items and different cuisines to choose from. The location of the breakfast room is superb.

The bathroom could have a shower cabin. Having a wet bathroom in a property like this is really a downside.

A wonderful weekend getaway.A perfect place to spend quality time with family and friends.

The property was incredible. The amenities provided in the hotel is indeed wonderful.It is ideal for a weekend getaway The food is exquisite and full of variety. The staff was courteous and helpful. I would like to mention Chef Monisankar who was friendly and helpful. He is skillful and attentive to the particular needs of the guests .His lip smacking and succulent dishes made our stay memorable.

good place for a weekend retreat. we enjoyed the Tea Tapri, tea plantations, Spa.

surroundings. the antique collection. Food.

some gas smell in bathroom. the decor of statues is overdone .

Beautiful memories with family. Will definitely stay here again.

The interiors of the place was fascinating. I’ve been to the property a few times but I’m always amazed by it.

Although I had booked rooms with breakfast included, for some reason the system showed that I had booked rooms with EP plan. I had to pay for the same. Also, I had requested for rooms closer to each other. The twin bed room was on the other end of the property than ours. That was a bit inconvenient.

surrounding tea estate is great for leisure walks. size of rooms.

there is smell of sewer gas in toilets. there is no exhaust in bathrooms.

Property and rooms are very nice. Being a new property it's very clean and luxurious.

Food quality and variety needs to improve. Staff are not very concerned what are they serving. Food is one of the biggest factor, because its in so interior that almost all the guest are likely to have their meal at some of the restaurant. That needs to be impeccable to have a great feeling.
