Unexpected opulence in industrial Sheffield

It was very tastefully decorated and furnished apartment, from cushions and upholstery to fixtures and fittings and had lots of unique character, so much more imaginative than your average rental apartment

Although the location was quite close to town, it is in quite an industrial area- although in my opinion the quality of the apartment and the price reflects this more than fairly

Ease of entry. Good location for driving in and out. Facilities were good for cooking, and eating in.

Couldn’t connect the tv to the WiFi for netflix

The apartment came as such a suprise, we did not expect that from the area, the size and decor everything was a shock after pulling up to the building. It was a hidden gem

Great value for money in a good location

Amazing place. Great value for money location very good for city centre . Bed and pillows very comfy.

A lot of hair in the shower however it wasn't a big issue as I was really please with the stay

Value for money I guess

Affordable. Water was hot. Bed was comfortable and clean. Apartment clean in general. Kitchen facilities adequate, we fried some bacon and eggs. Made tea.

Host unresponsive. Heater in the bedroom didn't work, only the one in the living room. It wasn't a big issue though as we kept the door between bedroom and living room open. We were two friends and one of us slept on the sofa so we asked for extra bedding. We were provided one, but only on the second day. Host didn't respond to message or phone call on the first night. Building was noisy. We could hear loud footsteps in the night. Someone was moving heavy furniture at 8am on a Saturday. Milk in the fridge expired. Shampoo and shower gel dispenser empty. The 10 minute walk from the nearest bus station (to city centre) was a bit scary at night. Partially lit streets, abandoned and dilapidated buildings. The semi-basement apartment itself looked a bit shabbier than on the photos, not bright and sunny at all. Small windows.

Located in an industrial area - which was ok for us as we went to attend other events. Not noisy at night which was a big positive for us.

WiFi was unsteady. Could have better signal.

A nice modern apartment, but not appropriate for a young family and let down by the noise

The apartment was spacious and clean, quite modern, the kitchen area was great.

Very noisy with slamming doors to the entrance and other apartments overnight, bedroom door seriously needs oiling (it woke everybody up when opened overnight), no sofa bed, spare sheets or pillows, so not really appropriate for a family. Some poor design decisions (lamps being hit by kitchen cupboard doors), no wifi, tv didn’t work that well and was obscured by the entrance landing area, front room only had office-style blinds so wasn’t really able to block light out.

Overpriced and dirty

The location was great. The check in and out process was easy and efficient

The room was extremely dirty. There was a cigarette burn in the sofa. The kitchen has food smears on the cupboards. The toilet had not been cleaned as there was skid marks all over it. There was food remains in the sink, hair all over she shower walls and brown stains (look to be coffee) all over the door frames and up the walls and on the mirror in the bedroom. To top it off the bedding had brown stains all over it. Considering the cost of the room which was not cheap I was very disappointed with the standard and cleanliness.

- no covers on the extra duvet + it had stains - water came out cloudy and tasted weird from tap - remote was barely working -need new pillows - expected to clean up after but there was no cleaning stuff - loud beeping noise all weekend - only two towels for 3 guests

We stayed for 5 days to go to the snooker in Sheffield, and had a few days visiting the Peak District.. The Apartment is lovely, but it needs a good clean..!.we did speak to the letting people about a couple of things, they said they would come and see us but they didn't..Probably not in a great area, but we drove or got ubers.

A comfortable, well designed apartment with good amenities.

I was really impressed with the decor and overall feel of the place was welcoming and homely. The design was certainly noteworthy. There was a complimentary cleaning service on select days for longer stays which was well appreciated. Lastly, the host went out of their way to ensure my stay was a pleasant throughout with timely communication.

The location was slightly outside of the city centre, though this was not a problem if you drive or prefer the exercise.

Host emailed instructions for acessing the property, they were spot on. The apartment was clean and had everything that was required, i.e. bedding, towels and uentsils, even a little selection of tea and coffee.

There was street parking for your vehicles infront of the building but unfortuntly there was no space for our car, so we had to park down the road which I wasn't comfortable with.

A well situated apartment with all the amenities and comforts needed for a night away. I would not hesitate to use again the next time I am in Sheffield.

It could perhaps do with a quick user guide to help people with things like the showers and so on. Also, the apartment had a coffee maker. Had we known, we would have bought some capsules.
