Fantastic stay, Casa Coral is an uncovered diamond.

Big spacious rooms, very looked after and clean furniture and helpful staff who were very responsive/accomodating.

If I was to be very picky - a couple more kitchen utensils and essentials would have helped (some cooking oil / laundry detergent / etc)

No me volvería a quedar ahí

La cama es muy cómoda, estaba limpio y olía rico

La fachada no es el lugar donde te quedas, te quedas en unos cuartos que están atrás escondidos, pagar dinero como garantía es una falta de respeto, nunca me dejaron llegar antes de las 4 pm y a las 10 en punto te corren , van a tocar y aunque no estés disponible abren la puerta

Satisfied with my stay

Overall, I liked my stay in Casa Coral. The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I was even allowed to check-in earlier, after making a request a couple of days prior. The location is good, the area seemed safe and also it’s close to the airport, which can be reached for ~25 minutes by bus. The studio was very well cleaned and was equipped with everything that you would need. I really appreciated the fact that the hosts provided packs for the kitchen (sponge, dish soap, etc) but also one for the laundry so you could was your clothes easily. Very well thought!

My room was on the first floor and as the building is old there was some problem with the humidity. There was some smell of mold that I noticed. However, kudos to the hosts as they tried fixing it using a moisture absober, which was working non-stop.

Convenient and chic

Comfortable space. Not too far from the center of Coral Gables. Easy transportation including free trolley.

Adjusting the shower was a nightmare. We could not really work it out until we left and mostly used the hand/side head. Either too hot or cold. No kettle..for us tea drinkers was a no no. Main door and gate to the property was always left open; apart from making the property looks shabby, it was not secured. We were given a door code which I believe we only had to use once as it was always open.

A great alternative to a hotel, especially for longer visits

While visiting from the UK to see friends, we stayed for about 10 days in this comfortable ground-floor apartment, part of an attractive historic building. We found this location ideal for getting around without a car - it's near a stop for the trolley (free local bus service) which takes you to, for example, Coral Gable's Miracle Mile (also walkable and with excellent cafes etc) and to other public transport links. We liked having some cooking facilities to prepare breakfast and snacks; there was a Publix supermarket a short distance away for groceries. We also appreciated the availability of laundry facilities. Management provided helpful information at the beginning and end of the stay.

As is often the case with older buildings, noise insulation is limited so partying neighbours woke us up a few times, but the noise level was tolerable once we'd invested in some earplugs.

Excellent property with history, renovated well in a lovely location. Needs step change in service however.

The property was excellent in an excellent location. It is historic and has been renovated well by its owners. Well done to them.

We arrived there were no towels at all. After some dialogue via IM one of the owners brought 3 bath towels. There was no shower gel, almost no shampoo, only one half used toilet roll and no useable soap. A cushion was dirtied with breakfast cereal. The hosts/owners were overbearing with several messages about additional fees for damages, cleaning and late checkout. The service detracts significantly from what is an excellent property.

location beautiful, I recommend better the rooms in the Back or up stairs, the check in is simple but there is soooo man

the room was to close to the street so even is a quiet place, still some noises , the shower is very difficult because, there is something wrong with the temperature , there’s no warm water is either super hot or cold. there is no section to have your close, no even an small closet. when you walk-in to the house it doesn’t small good they doble booked the room and they trained to open our door at 3:00 am, we got scare.

Horrible,I do not recommend it to anyone.

Location

No parking space,for that reason I got a ticket,not a good construction, it had a whole in the ceiling,no lights in the entrance,the sheets smells bad like it never never been washed.

Terrible communication but a great location

The location was in a great section of Coral Gables. Within walking distance to a nice cafe. Parking was also easy just around the corner from the apartment. The apartment was also very clean with basic amenities.

There was no communication before check-in so had to call an international number. They quickly sent over check-in information and blamed it on an automatic system. Once in the room the A/C was working but extremely loud. It took 2 days due to Mother's Day for the maintenance man to come. There was no timeframe of when they were coming except for sometime Monday morning. The A/C could not be fixed and we were given a 15% discount for each night. For the value of the place I don't believe this was enough. Also, if you are in a downstairs unit you will hear everything the people upstairs are doing.

They could have provided wine glasses in the kitchen.
