About this house rental
Fantastic luxury 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bathroom townhome; sleeps up to 10 people. Located on the Sierra Star Golf Course, this home offers views of the 18 fairway, while being not too far from the center of Town for conveniences, or a short ride or walk to Eagle Lodge! This three story townhouse offers a private 2 car garage, laundry room, large expansive deck with private hot tub and outdoor seating and BBQ grill. The floorplan allows social gatherings and is perfect for a large family gathering. On the entry level of the home is the living room with wood burning fireplace, large flatscreen TV with cable TV. A dining room that can seat up to 8 with additional bar seating for 4. The fully stocked gourmet kitchen offers stone counters, top of the line stainless appliances, a wine fridge and everything needed to prepare meals. The large deck offers a BBQ gas grill, private hot tub, outdoor dining seating and is located on the 18th fairway of the Sierra Star Golf Course. On this level the guest bedroom features a queen bed, with adjacent full bathroom with walk-in shower. On the next level is a kids haven featuring a full size bunk with twin on top, and a trundle twin below, TV and en-suite bathroom with tub/shower combo. On the third top level, the primary suite features a king bed, TV, walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom with double vanity, soaking tub and walk-in shower. The fourth guest bedroom also on this upper level has a queen bed, en-suite bathroom with shower. This unit also offers WiFi internet access, a two car garage (garage clearance 7' 5") a laundry room with washer / dryer so you can enjoy all the conveniences of home. Located on the green line shuttle route, it is a short walk to the shuttle stop with a quick ride into Town or to Eagle Lodge. This unit is pet friendly, One pet allowed, additional pets by approval only, please call. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, Pilates and cycle studio and more. The rental was very disappointing. We have stayed in the timbers, solstice and graystone through mammoth reservations before and had a great experience. However, This unit had a broken dryer, the deck was a mess and unsafe, we couldn’t use the hot tub, and the inside of the unit had spiderwebs everywhere. We were offered a 10% refund due to many amenities being broken or unavailable but it doesn’t make up for the inconvenience caused by the problems with the unit.

We've stayed at Timbers #18 several times and it's a great place to stay for a couple of reasons: 1. 2-car garage makes it easy to get in and out of car with equipment/luggage/groceries. 2. The master bed is super plush and comfortable, which is a big win because most beds at every other rental we've had in Mammoth has sucked - especially in Mammoth Village. 3. The house has a great HVAC system with humidifer feature so it's very comfortable inside. 4. Kitchen has decent cookware to use. 5. The home is really clean - I never see lots of dust build up on the usual suspects like lampshades, fireplace mantel, etc. Overall the house feels a little cluttered with too much extra furniture and knick knacks, but this seems to be a theme in mountain rentals. I wouldn't say this is a great house if you have multiple adult couples (especially if they're tall) because only the master has a king bed and the other bedrooms are very small with queens. This house is more suitable for a single family with maybe teenage kids and smaller children. Or petite adults. The negatives: the first time we rented the place, the fridge was broken and they had to put a spare in the garage (down a flight of stairs). The second time we rented it the hot tub had half the water it needed and no hose on the patio to fill it up so we had to carry a big stock pot of water from the kitchen (10 trips) to get it right. These are things I feel should be sorted for the price point of this house. So, rent it for sure, but do yourself a favor and make a call to the rental company in advance of your arrival and ask "basic" questions like, "do all the appliances work?" "Is the hot tub properly filled" - you'll save yourself a headache later.

Great location. Easy check-in and check-out. Responsive hosts. Place was clean and close to the ski area. Nice serene outdoors and the jacuzzi worked just fine. We all enjoyed our stay ! would book again.

This place was perfect for a larger group/multiple couples including children as there is a room with bunk beds with a trundle bed. It is very large with 4 spacious, very comfortable bedrooms and multiple bathrooms. Very nice furnishings and well maintained. Large open kitchen that is well stocked. Dog friendly with back porch that opens right to golf course, which was great for our dogs since we could just take them out back to walk them and play in the snow. They state only room for 2 cars but with the garage we were able to fit 4. Private hot tub was great as well. Only negatives would be the back porch/hot tub cover were damaged and slightly dirty, but I think this was due to the brutal wi ter and amount of snow they had received. It still functioned perfectly, so just a visual negative. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

This is a lovely home and location but the jacuzzi was not working when we arrived. It was dirty and spitting water everywhere. We called management and they dismissed us as they were busy with other issues at their other locations. We also received a notice on the door that their electricity bill was overdue and would be cut off. After multiple calls and messages we received a nominal adjustment for our troubles.

Arrived and garage remote would not work and front door was so stuck that we had to bash it in with our shoulder! Hot tub was half covered by a large sheet of plywood/half with regular cover/found to be unusable due to cloudy water. No cold water in 2 out of 4 bathrooms, so toilet and showers were unusable for 2 days. No firewood provided. Management was responsive after our first call, but afterwards, no. We had to keep calling them back. Did receive compensation, after we asked, but not nearly enough in our opinion. Owner or management needs to walk this property to bring it back up to luxury status! For what we paid, we were very disappointed!

Had a wonderful stay here. The cabin was large, clean, and very comfortable. I hadn't realized when booking that all four bedrooms had their own bathrooms. Was really comfortable and convenient for 4 couples, and could easily fit more as the bunks were both doubles and there was a trundle. The hot tub was perfect after the ski day, and private. Plenty of towels, as well as basic toiletries. Bedrooms were quiet. We had a wonderful time.

This condo was better than we expected. The listing says 3 1/2 baths but we were pleasantly surprised to find that it actually was 4 full baths. This meant each couple had their own bathroom. The kitchen and dining area was large enough to accommodate our large party plus guests. The layout of the living area made it easy to keep our dog contained. Some nitpicky problems were one of the bedrooms had no screens on the windows so bugs were a problem and the kitchen could have been stocked with a few more glasses and silverware. (But the large pots/pans were great!) The TV and DVD player also were not compatible. We visit Mammoth almost every summer, and this was the best condo we've stayed at. We would definitely stay here again.

3 nights with family of 10, arrived 12/30 and departed 1/2. Arrived just after sunset to find the furnace was not working (43 degrees), oven and microwave broken and deck (jacuzzi and grill) waist deep in snow. Space heaters were delivered (not much help) and furnace company showed up early next morning to fix the furnace. Management company apologized profusely and tried to make conditions better, ended up crediting our account. Too much snow. The unit size and amenities (if working) were great, was perfect for our family.

We stayed here in early September. The house is spacious with a great location, on the golf course, and loved the hot tub. My only "complaint" is that I wish the appliances were up to date. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.

Great house. A few issues but mutually resolved.
Beautiful house on a beautiful, quiet golf course setting. Easy to get to from 395 and town and all outdoor activities we wanted to do. Large and well-laid out house perfect for 2 families (5 kids and 4 adults). Gorgeous flowers outside. Would stay here again.
A few issues we had: roofing was taking place on our property for over half of our 1 week stay. There were roofing nails on the ground and deck on the property and a bunch of noise starting as early as 7:30 am. This was not disclosed to us before our arrival and when contacting the rental agency they said they were not aware this was going on. Ultimately they resolved it with a few days off our stay. Additionally, this is a pet friendly house. We did not bring a pet. The vacuuming done was not adequate as there was pet hair and dander on some of the fabrics and flooring near the stairs. The vacuum provided for use in the house just blew more dander all over the place - probably needs replacing. The dishwasher broke near the end of our stay (not our misuse - just old) and they sent out a mechanic right away. Probably next time someone stays here, there will be a new dishwasher. The knives are REALLY dull and there aren't enough spoons in the house. All the utensils could use replacement, in fact. I hope this helps the next person renting or the rental company work out some of the minor issues.

Peaceful Mammoth Retreat
Nice home right next to the golf course. Good for a family getaway. The AC in this home however is not very strong, and during the warmer months the upstairs bedrooms get hot/stuffy. Bunk bed was a bit wonky, top mattress doesn’t fit the whole space so there’s a big gap and the bottom bunk height is way too small. Probably needs a lower mattress height. Overall this home has your essentials and added bonus that there’s a hot tub.

Our stay in Timbers 18 was really terrific. The townhouse is very conveniently located near the Village and right on the 18th fairway of the Sierra Star golf course. We used the jacuzzi on the back deck every single day after either hiking, biking or golfing. Having our own garage was extremely convenient for storing bikes and golf clubs. Also, with the Covid concerns, it was comforting to not have to pass any other individuals. The rooms and bathrooms were super clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and the couches were also comfortable.

We rented this property before (2 yrs. ago) and it wasn't kept up like it had been. There were tears and holes in the screen windows with blue tape to keep it together; we swept and hosed down the front and back porches as soon as we got there because of paint chips. Apparently painters were there the day before and prepped but we didn't know anything about it and M.R. also claims they didn't either or would've put us in another unit. Painters enclose it with plastic the 2nd day to paint and when I called M.R. (3X) I didn't get a call back. Even the back patio and front door was sealed with plastic. We got in through the garage. However, through email, the M.R. manager emailed back with an apology, an explanation and a refund of one night. Plus, there were moths everywhere in the unit. I still put my trust in M.R. and hope that this was just one big mishap in my over 20 yrs. of booking through M.R. When repainted and minor repairs completed, this is a beautiful unit.

6 adults, 4 youngsters and 2 dogs were comfortably accommodated in this lovely home on a golf course. We fished, hiked and had great meals all together followed by a dip in the large nice jacuzzi. Next time we will look to stay longer.

Great home for family and friends
We had a great time renting this home! The 3 master bedrooms with a fourth bedroom and bathroom were perfect for our 6 guests. The home was clean and well stocked. Only complain was all the knives extremely dull. Would definitely rent this place again.

Over-represented
Rented this town home, not a house, for friends and family from out of town super bowl weekend and first, his is not a house as marketed. This is an attached town home. Although mammoth has received a lot of snow one would think a competent management company would have walk ways, driveways and patio with a hot tub, also advertised, cleared and available for use. When we arrived the walkways to the home were dangerous and snowy. The back patio was piled high with snow and the hot tub that everyone was looking forward to using after skiing could not be seen much less accessed because management had. It cleared the snow. We went to use the 72" TV they also advertised and it was broken so we had to leave people behind to wait for a repair man to show one evening, then return the next day with a TV half he size to watch super bowl. The housekeeping staff left NO hand towels or was cloths...only bath towels. For the money we paid this place was a bomb and we would not rent it again.

Relaxing and enjoyable vacation!
The house was well appointed and very comfortable. The spa was a constant enjoyment and having the grill available for an evening cookout also made us feel right at home. Plenty of room and luxurious beds! The only difficulty we had was in locating the property as our cell phone map couldn't find the place and the entrance to the complex is a little hard to find. But the house itself was wonderful!
