The cabin was so well thought out, cosy and perfect for northern light watching! The high up electric bed was fab and super comfy. Cecilia came to greet us and was lovely and welcoming, she has two very happy dogs too! I would recommend this place to anyone, it was excellent value for money and one of the best places I’ve ever stayed!

very nice view from the cabin
there is no shower and the bathroom is a chemical latrine. considering this it’s really not worth the price

Location is excellent. We saw northern lights on both the nights we were there, right from the cabin. Host kindly allowed us to use the facilities in the another big accommodation they have, as it was vacant, it made our overall experience so much better. we are thankful to the host for that
Cabin is cozy and lovely inside.
Though cabin has mini fridge, microwave and kettle, it doesn't have attached toilet. One has to use the facility outside the cabin. Shower, running tap water facilities are also not there. I was surprised to see that coffee or tea was not provided in the room either.
In previous comments few people had talked the reindeers but the property doesn't have any reindeers now.

The cabin with the bed was warm and comfortable. Half the roof is made of glass so we were able to see the stars/Northern Lights. The host was helpful and helped us spot the Northern Lights, and she also prepared the Sauna for us to enjoy, and went to the shops to bring us soap to wash with in the bucket shower.
The toilet was cold and inconvenient to use. It's a very full portaloo, and the water for the sink had frozen so we had no way to wash out hands or brush our teeth.
There is no shower. You have to use a bucket in a sauna. I didn't mind this as it was a fun experience (and apparently something that a few households around here do daily) but my partner did not like it.
It's also hard to get to. You can rent a car or pay a 50 GBP taxi one way. It's quite remote so you need to bring your own food to cook in the microwave or over the fire.
For the price we paid, we expected better.

Very nice cabin with the best view for the Northern lights. The host was very responsive and very friendly. If i would come back to Kiruna, I will stay here again for sure. The best and unic cabin we ever stayed in.

Nobody is cleaning the road from the snow and you will have problem to reach and leave the place.
The navigation system send you in a road with a dead end but the owner is not going to give you any info about that, neither they replyed to the messages.
But they don't have to do that... the reservation is prepayed and of course they are not giving you a refund in any case.

The cabin was cosy, warm and well set up. The window above gave us an amazing view of the sky and the frozen lake. Cecilia, who runs it, was friendly and thoughtful and was there for anything we needed or questions we had.
We had a cabin that didn't have a toilet/bathroom in it, which we did know before going. There was a little toilet a few steps from the cabin thar was clean and had a heater in, but it wasn't the most fun going out at night to use it. There are cabins with toilets, so make sure to check when you're booking. But saying that, I would still do it again, toilet cabin or not.

the secluded location - the view from the property is breathtaking, right on the river. The hut has everything and the bed is extremely comfortable.
The owner is super friendly and very helpful. I would definitely go back.

We stayed in this wonderful cosy cabin with a view on the lake which was frozen and we could ice skate on it 😍. We loved everything about our stay. Location, cleanliness, the sauna, the views, the hospitality. Cecilia made us feel at home and is such a lovely person and fun person to be around with. She provided us the best service and knowledge on the area. She even called us when we were out, to let us know the Aurora Borealis was shining outside. We were SO SO happy to experience this, it was also magic to see it from the cabin. Sleeping under the Northern lights was a dream come true.
Definitely recommending to stay here!
Thank you so much Cecilia. We made memories for a lifetime 🙏🏻❤️

Very kind owner who upgraded us at no extra cost just because she had a chalet with bathroom that was available that night. Managed to see the Aurora comfortably from the cosy bed. Highly recommend this property which is located in a quiet peaceful place

The location directly at the river, we have been there in winter and it was completely frozen, was just stunning. Next to the cabin was a small reindeer shelter where you could watch them day and night. The cabin has a big glass window/ ceiling, so you can watch the stars and the northern lights while laying in the cozy warm bed.
Toilett is clean but located outside of the cabin. Showering is only possible when you prewarm the sauna. But it has a very traditional feeling. Definitly worth it!!!!

The cabin is amazing. The view from the windows is perfect and very romantic. High chances to see northern lights. The reindeer is a strong plus of the location and the host is very friendly, it explained us everything and helped us a lot. The facilities include a portable toilet, a private sauna with buckets of water to shower, a room to cook on wooden fire.
The sky is not completely dark at night for northern light pictures but still ok to make some good pictures
4.3
An amazing location on the edge of the river with views of the sky from the room.
Beautiful scenery and the added bonus of the resident reindeer and the occasional wild ones too.
Our hut had an adjustable double bed, fridge, microwave, kettle etc.
No toilet facilities in our cabin which meant we had to get dressed to go outside to a portable toilet which thankfully was heated. They are still building a more permanent toilet and shower solution
Unfortunately there were no breakfast or dinner options.

Very cozy cabin. I really enjoyed the reindeer nearby. The bed is super comfortable and you can see the night sky through the roof window.

Property location was perfect
It was great to know that it was owned by local people and the hostess was very informative and super helpful
No en-suite - but we knew that when we booked so it was not an issue

What did we like? Easier to think about what we didn't like, because there weren't any!
The cabin with huge windows overlooking to the lake was a dream came true to us and we could have a shower in the sauna! It felt soooo good, especially after hiking for five days :)
Cecilia, our host was really nice and it was a unique experience to talk about the reindeers and we could also pet them :))
We also met with the little baby reindeer, Ulle!
Long story short, to stay here was one of the best moments of our trip, thank you for having us, Cecilia!

This is an absolutely unique experience. You literally live in a little cabin with big windows, surrounded by reindeer that you can pet, and overlooking a lake and hills on the other side. The owner, Cecilia, is very kind and loves to chat about the reindeer and life in the northern Swedish countryside. The reindeer are friendly and curious and might enter your cabin (if you'd like). Also greeting you is a big, friendly dog.
I can't think of anything except that I wish we could have stayed longer.

The cabin was so so so beautiful! The hostess was very friendly and kind. The name says cabin with reindeers -- and there were really reindeers in the yard, they were curious and super cute. One of them even wanted to go to sauna with us! The sauna was great as well. We slept really well under the glass ceiling, something to remember. If I'm ever in Kiruna again, I'll definitely go there again
4.3
Amazing place for seeing the northernlights! You are lying in bed, watching the sky and waiting. We saw them 2 of 3 nights.. To this you can play some music :) Also fridge, microwave, dishes (what the host wash for you if you want), slippers are ready for you inside.
The host also let us feed the reindeers, it was amazing experience. Also we took sauna heated by fireplace. If the lake is frozen, you can go to icehotel on the other shore of lake. Hosts are very friendly and helpful.
You will feel there like in the nature.
To Kiruna is it by car about 15 minutes. We recommend you order dog sleding by kirunahusky.com - second amazing experience.
The hosts are still building the house with the toilet and shower. So now you have to go to outside (heated) mobile toilet and you can shower just if you take a sauna (inside). Or if the next house is free, you can go there :) But with magic of the place you will not care about this and you enjoy the stay!

Amazing location with 20-30 mins walking to the Ice hotel (when river is frozen). Cabin was comfortable and cozy. Nice sauna with some reindeer outside. Lovely owners who were very thoughtful and friendly. Hope to return!
4.3
Idyllic little spot between the reindeers a beautifully frozen lake and falling asleep under the star sky. The hostess is super friendly and helpful and we even had the luck to see the Northern Light from our bed through the window roof
