We had a wonderful long weekend, the home was lovely and cozy. Excellent hot tub, big yard with easy river access. As an added bonus, we lost power during a summer storm, and the generator kicked on and we had power all night! Looking forward to our return...

This was the second year our family stayed multiple weekends at Owl Be Back during the ski season. We just love this beautiful cabin. It is always super clean and ready for our arrival each week. The cabin is equipped with everything, is comfortable in all respects. And we all love soaking in the well-maintained hot tub after a day on the slopes. Thank you to everyone who make this what it is. We are already looking forward to next season at Owl Be Back.

Upon walking in, I was very impressed by the layout. The good: well stocked kitchen (a lot of tools), plenty of burners and prep space, efficient sink and dishwasher, large fridge, nice layout and separation between the bedrooms, the layout in the living room is cozy. The best part was the hot tub right off the deck, which managed to stay within the 101-104 range the entire time (we were hot most of the time). For a group of 7 snowboarding at Stevens, it was pretty great and I never felt cramped. Stereo system was also very enjoyable to play games.
The not so good: So I've stayed with this Company and while this place was REALLY well stocked, I'd probably stay at the other place over this one where the hot tub was having issues. 4 of us really struggled to sleep because the beds were very dated. Any time one person moved a little, it would wake up the other person up (happened to at least two couples). Secondly, my partner and I are severely allergic to dogs and I knew we were in trouble when we walked in and saw dog bowls and a cat chasing toy! My partner's symptoms are more acute than mine, and he really struggled the entire trip. Lastly, it fits 8 but I wish they would swap out the furniture to include a sofa sleeper in the living room to keep a couple's privacy :) Overall, it was a great stay as it did what it was intended to do - which was be an efficient launching pad for our long weekend snowboard trip at Stevens, but definitely beware if you are allergic!

Unfortunately the property was not cleaned before we arrived due to an error. Tree Line Vacation Rentals was super responsive and apologetic and quickly offered my party a few different options to upgrade to. Even though we didn't end up staying at this location, I would recommend the company and will be keeping it in mind for future getaways. We will be back for sure.

Our family rented Owl Be Back for three weekends of snow skiing at Stevens Pass and loved the place. It's well maintained and equipped with everything we needed for fun times in the mountains, including a nice hot tub for relaxing after a day on the slopes. Tree Line Rentals had the place perfectly ready for us each weekend and was able to accommodate our requests for late checkouts so we didn't have to cut short our Sunday ski days. We would recommend Owl Be Back and look forward to coming back ourselves next season.

An unexpected problem on the property forced a last minute change in location. The property manager, Tree Line responded quickly, professionally and thankfully successfully in finding a replacement home for our long planned family vacation. The cabin they found us was spectacular, wish I could review it here. We have stayed at Owl be Back in. the past and surely will return. Thanks to all involved in getting us into a wonderful place

Such an amazing area and an amazing piece of property. The river was so beautiful just a quick walk down through the woods. I was very impressed with the amount of utensils and cookware in the kitchen we didn’t need for anything. Plenty of beds for the whole family. Really it was the perfect getaway for our family of six. The ease of the stay was amazing. The hot tub was sparkling clean which made us very happy.

My family booked Owl Be Back for my sisters birthday and it was a blast. The inside is comfortable and accommodated our group of 8. We ate dinner outside both nights and loved being able to visit the river in the morning while we had coffee and skipped rocks. We were all sad to leave and could have easily spent a couple more days here. Owl be back one day, I hope!

Great location right on the river
If you are looking for a place to disconnect from the city, this is a great place to stay. You have the river right outside the back porch. The new hot tub is perfect to relax in while looking out at the river. Very spacious bedrooms with lots of beds to sleep in.

Perfect Getaway
Needed to get away from our desks and treat our pup to a beautiful weekend, and this was the best choice. The house was amazing, and a perfect setting to relax in. Equipped with all the tools you need to cook everything from a romantic pasta dinner to a pork roast, you never have to leave. The setting, stunning. Surrounded by rich Pacific Northwest old growth, with nearby hiking, I didn't want to leave. The short walk through the backyard, down the whimsically lit path to the river shore, I already miss it. The hot tub is a fabulous addition, enjoyed it everyday. Highly recommend this location for a romantic couples getaway and treating your pup.

Perfect getaway
Wonderful location on the river and the house was very clean and comfortable! We had a wonderful stay and would happily rent this home again! We brought a kayak and stand up paddle boards and had fun playing around on the river. The water was nice and calm by the cabin, so it was easy to just let the kids play. We loved sitting in the hot tub in the evening and ate our dinners out in the backyard!

A charming and well appointed riverfront cabin in the woods
This place was lovely. Close enough to Seattle so it was a reasonable drive, but far enough to feel that we were truly away. The yard is generous and tree-lined, and there is a path down to a private stretch of the river that feels cozy and secluded. I did yoga by the river... it was glorious.
The house itself was impeccable, and extremely comfortable. Just a really charming and well appointed cabin in the woods! You won't regret it.

Property was perfect for our multi generational family. Seniors were able to use the downstairs bedroom and bathroom. Parents and kids used the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom. Great access to the river. Hot tub was a nice relaxing evening activity.

Just a perfect spot to relax and get away. House is set-up real nice if you have a multi generational family like we do. Plenty of space and you just can't beat the easy river access. Will definitely be back.

Son's Birthday and Return home
We rented this property for my son's birthday and return home. The beach was an added surprise and we had excellent weather to enjoy the river. The property is very clean and set up well for a small gathering.

A Lighted Path to the River!
We loved this place! A great backyard with a firepit and path right to your own little private beach area on the river. The lights down the path for night time were such a cool feature. Plus and new hot tub on the deck. Hard to find places that have all those things that aren't completely outrageously priced. Bonus points for lots of hooks in the bathrooms and bedrooms. Always needed in a rental. Inside could use a few modern updates (but then again, that would probably raise the price :) Owl of us will definitely be back.

Lovely Stay
We had a wonderful stay at Owl Be Back. We enjoyed exploring and relaxing in the yard and down by the river. The home was very comfortable for our family get together.

Wonderful Escape
We thoroughly enjoyed this property. The river was amazing and the bridge to access the river made it easily accessible to all age ranges. The outdoors of the property was well lit. It was well stocked and they even thought of our dogs and left them a little toy. We drove to Leavenworth one day and it was an easy and quick drive. The hot tub was definitely an added bonus and was beautiful to relax in as we could listen to the river flowing in the background. We would definitely visit again if in the area.

Cozy retreat
We spent 2 nights here with our parents and 2 young children (6 total). The living room area was pretty cozy, but was just enough for our family. House was clean and well appointed. Great location for exploring Skykomish.

Relaxing Break from the City!
Rented for three months during the COVID winter period to get out of the city and be close to Stevens Pass for skiing and snowshoeing (25 minutes) and all the hiking trails nearby. Lovely cabin, all the modern amenities, including a well-appointed kitchen, in-cabin laundry, a cozy living and dining area, comfortable beds, clean linens, plenty of towels, cabin-chic decor throughout, a brand new hot tub, a fire pit, a beautiful "front" (riverside) yard, a darling wooded and trail and bridge to the property's private beach (probably swim-friendly in summer with life jackets & water shoes), and Edison lighting on the beach path and around the house. The entire property is very well-maintained and in great condition thanks to the very responsive Beth at Treeline Rentals, who does a phenomenal job managing the property for the owner. I think we could have eaten off the floors, it was so clean. And the desk in the master bedroom was a big plus for "work-from-cabin" days. WiFi was not as awesome as at home, but we found it reliable enough to attend meetings (with cameras off - we had four of us online at once) and get homework done. Also dog-friendly, our dog loved the property and had a great time playing in the snow with our kids in the yard. The neighborhood itself is quaint, a mix of cabins and prefabricated homes, half locals and half vacation properties, always folks out in their yards enjoying fire pits or working on projects (several nice little pea patches in some yards). The road is paved and gets plowed when it snows, a big plus. We walked the neighborhood loops most days, takes about 30min to do a full loop. The neighborhood is right on Hwy 2, and the train tracks are across the road from the neighborhood, but those are far enough away that this property and the entire neighborhood is pretty quiet. You can hear the river at night and when you're out in the yard, and occasionally you'll hear a train whistle. We hope to come back again in the summer to try a river beach holiday and hike some of the more elevated trails in the area!

PERFECT Escape with an incredible outdoor space
This cabin is gorgeous, impeccably clean and insanely well appointed. It is a mere 24 miles to Steven's Pass for skiing. It was stocked with everything we needed for a great holiday Ski week. We especially loved the back yard which is huge, and leads to a gorgeous riverfront landing. In the setting of a huge snow dump, it was the perfect space for snow-people and snow angles. The outdoor fire pit is delightful. We can't wait to stay in this beautiful cabin again. Thank you, Bud and Beth, for giving us a much needed respite for the holidays.
