Séjour magique au calme dans la forêt

Ambiance magique dans un hôtel perdu dans la forêt! Chambre spacieuse et très confortable, vue magnifique. L’espace sauna est très sympa. Le patron et son équipe sont très accueillants et aux petits soins. Restaurant très correct avec des performances culinaires peut-être un peu irrégulières, mais excellents vins. Très bon et copieux petit déjeuner à la carte.

Ein wunderbarer Ort, um zu entspannen und zu geniessen. Wir kommen wieder

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Es gab ein Menue - sogar zum Frühstück - sozusagen Frühstück a la Carte - perfekt - man konnte auswählen, was wir wollten - besonders interessant: Harvard Breakfast - mit Super Food - Alles frisch und am Tisch serviert - zum Teil am Tisch zubereitet . Die Freundlichkeit des Personals war grossartig. Die Lage ist für Menschen, die abends ausgehen wollen, vielleicht nicht ideal, aber bestens für Menschen, die Ruhe suchen. Der Spaziergang durch den verschneiten Wald war ein Erlebnis, und die Aussicht vom Hotel aus war toll.

Ein grösseres SPA Angebot wäre sinnvoll - insbesondere im Winter ist das ganz angenehm

un hôtel très sympa

le petit déjeuner, tout est excellent et laisser on libre choix de chacun. les chambres grandes et confortables. en dehors de Saas Fee, à pied minimum 15 mn jsqu'au village. à définir à l'avance si on a besoin qu'une navette vienne nous chercher.

dommage que nous avions pas le temps de profiter, on est juste rester une nuit

Relaxing stay at charming hotel with scenic views.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. They could not have done more to make the stay better. Nothing was a problem and always with a smile. The style of the hotel is classic, its kept very clean and maintained well. The view from the property is amazing too. We were there in the summer and we found it very relaxing and peaceful. Great to sit out in the evening. The sauna after a day hiking was great . The food menu is small but excellent, less is more in this case and a fantastic selection of wines too. Overall, Its highly recommended.

Not much to dislike. The distance from the town (0.9 KM) is something other people might not like but we enjoyed the short walk through the forest spotting lots of local wildlife. The hotel electric mini bus was always available if we needed a ride somewhere.

Very helpful and friendly stuff. Amazing secluded and quiet place. Very good food.

Rooms bit dated. Location is not as displayed on booking, wasn't a problem for us, but might be for some.

- location in middle of forest. - staff on site was very comitted and tried their best while hotel manager eas not reachable.

- Dirty and dated room. - Facilities are not well maintained. - Good times of this place are over. - Restaurant didn't convince

feels like home

The Breakfast, lunch and dinner was super, every food i had in the hotel was fresh and delicious, the staff were super friendly and treated me like a family, the spa has jacuzzi and sauna, great shower and you can experience snow and hot sauna at the same time with privacy.

there wasnt anything that i didnt like, the trip is very easy, you come with a train to the bus terminal, and from bus terminal you come to saas fee and from there the driver will pick you up and assist you

Beautiful place and excellent staff! is a perfect place to disconnect in winter and in summer! they have a really good restaurant!

Very pleasant stay, kind and available staff that makes you feel at home

Amazing view from our room Location - even if not in the center - easy to reach by walk / free shuttle available from the hotel Great welcoming and friendly staff Delicious breakfast and dinner

Nothing really, but if I have to find something it would have been great to have two shuttle available for pick-up and drop-off, as the hotel is not centered and waiting time may go up to 30 minutes

A great stay in a beautiful place

The breakfast was tasty and freshly cooked to order. There was a good choice with eggs cooked in a variety of ways. This was ordered the previous evening. The staff were helpful and friendly and engaged with the guests. Evening meals were excellent with enough choices for our five days. A lift to or from the village was easily arranged although the walk through the woods was magical.

Our bedroom was of a decent size but lacked character. There wasn’t a lounge to relax in after a meal.

A hidden treasure of Saas Fee

This is a very special place in Saas Fee. You can feel the love and care from every corner and each staff member. Location is a bit decentralised, but in this case it's a plus, because the location is wonderfull, in the middle of the forest, making for a stunning view from either our room and the sauna. They provide free regular lift to the centre by electrical car, which we only used once however, because the trail to the town was just beautifull (look at the pictures) and we always prefered to walk it. A la carte breakfast is a welcome option for us with special diet, since you get to eat exactly what you want. I believe they would be able to figure out something for every allergy or diet. We also had their homemade pasta and rissotto for dinner and it was really delicius. I feel so happy we have chosen to stay here and will definitely come back soon. Thank you!

A Jewel in the Forest

We stayed two nights and had a very pleasant and relaxing stay. The entire staff was extremey kind and helpful and clearly wants their guests to feel like at home. They succeeded 100%. Food and wines were excellent and refined. Our room was modernly furnished with a balcony and a wonderful view of the Saas Valley. We enjoyed the uncomplicated atmosphere, international flair and professional quality service.

We especially enjoyed the fact that the hotel is located outside Saas Fee (15mn easy horizontal walk in a beautiful forest). However, if that is not your case, then you will have to use the free electric shuttle of the hotel as Saas Fee is car-free.

If we return to Switzerland, we would spend more time at this hotel. Highly recommend it.

Breakfast was over the top. It was delivered to our room and was delightful. We were really impressed by the staff and even met the hotel owner. We also had a fantastic dinner upon our arrival the previous night. The staff prepared a 5 course meal with a wine pairing. Highly recommend dining here even if you don't stay. It was a really fantastic stay.

Not a thing. We had such a marvelous time that we are considering having a family reunion here.

Breakfast was made to order. Dinner was excellent, including a visit to the wine cellar and an excellent recommendation for a Swiss merlot. Overall, wonderful Swiss hospitality. A relaxing location with a spectacular view.

Unexpected location, incredible views from the bedrooms, comfy wide king beds, very attentive staff and very good food. I will be returning to and recommending this place.

The wine list is on the very dear side - there should ve a wider range around CHF 90-110

No experience like it.

The owner is a very generous man and so is the staff. They immediately greeted us with Champaign. The food at the restaurant was tremendous. The Owner showed us the wine cellar. I have reason to believe he has every bottle of wine in Europe! But the absolute best part was the sauna room. My girlfriend and I had the entire bath house to ourselves. We went right from the sauna and jumped into the snow!

I wish our shower had a full enclosure. With that said, it was still luxurious.
