The house was perfect for our family of 11 and close to Helen. We saw a bear twice which was thrilling. The fire pit was awesome ! Just couldn’t get the Edison lights to come on though we found a switch under the steps. With several musicians in the family was looking forward to using the piano, but some keys got stuck making it aggravating to all sing together, so gave up. Thank you for a special vacation!

Very nice home in gated community. Not far from tubing, alpine coaster, and outdoors aerials. Could use more seating if you have over 9 people but had enough beds for all.

Toasty marshmallow was awesome. 10 high school football teammates all over 60 got together for two nights and had a blast. Helen is a great town to hang out. The Hofbrau house was perfect for a reunion. We love the neighborhood and the back deck. Would stay again.

Loved staying at the Toasty Marshmallow! The house was clean and spacious. It was perfect for our family of 6 to be together, without feeling crowded. The neighborhood is quiet and serene. Everyone enjoyed the downstairs family/ game room & pool table thd most! Would stay here againand would recommend to others.

This was seriously the nicest rental that I have had the pleasure of staying in. Clean, spacious, conveniently located. The "kids" enjoyed the fire pit even when it was 7 degrees out. Comfy beds and bedding. Would 10/10 stay here again!

The house was set up perfectly for all of us. We had 11 people and it was spread out so we could all enjoy ourselves. Being able to have my kids and grandkids meet in one place and enjoy some time together was priceless. I hope we get the chance to do it again. We had a blast in Helen and at The Toasty Marshmallow!!!

From booking, to arriving, to our stay, amd check out, everyrhing went very smoothly. My only recommendation for the advertisement is be up front about the mandatory check in before 10:00 PM. This was the only stressful part of the trip. Having to wait for kids to get home from school and my partner home from work, then fighting holiday traffic, and worrying are we going to make it there before 10:00 PM. The 10:00 PM check in requirement was for "noise ordinance ". Other than that, the stay was great! The house was as advertised online. The beds were comfy and the house was clean. We even had a fire in the fire pit one evening and made smores. Also, we all loved the pool table and games on the screened in porch. We'd definitely stay here again, but plan our arrival a bit earlier.

Great bike trip. House was very roomy. Bathrooms on lower level needed a much better cleaning, toilet &tub were VERY dirty. Being unable to access the property via the rear gate was very inconvenient as we were riding motorcycles. this made for a challenging ride at night

Found the house online, booking was easy! 4 couples and 2 nephews. House was very clean and neat, would be a nice place to stay in the Fall.

Don’t choose this rental based on the neighborhood as none of the Valhalla amenities are available to renters, even though this is advertised as such. The home itself is nice, a little more worn than pictures portray, but still roomy and comfortable. It appeared to have a fully stocked kitchen, although we didn’t cook. Linens and beds are nice. The downstairs had a strong pet odor and someone had groomed a dog in the back yard, even though it said no dogs allowed.

The most perfect stay! Everything was so clean and prepared for our stay. It was so cozy and comfortable. There was plenty of space for everything that we had brought with us.

The Toasty Marshmallow was a fantastic home! Location was a very short drive to downtown Helen and minutes from Unicoi State Park. Super comfy beds, well stocked kitchen and very clean. Not a deal-breaker, but our only wish was that there was more seating in the living room for a larger group (we had 9 people). I highly recommend this property!

We spent a long weekend in Helen for my birthday with my family and friends. The toasty marshmallow was the perfect size for our group with a mix of adults and teenagers. Thanks for letting us stay and have a relaxing weekend!!

We had an extended family gathering at The Toasty Marshmallow! The house is in a great, quiet location. It is well kept and had everything you’d expect a rental to offer. The front yard is perfect for throwing the football or letting the toddlers explore while the backyard fire pit is a great place to spend evenings. We all loved our stay!

Great House-Wrong Community for kids
We had 10 properties rented for a small Reunion, which was held at a nearby hotel, including a room and meeting room at Country Inn & Suites, 1 at Alpine, which we canceled and received a future credit because we didn't have anyone to fill the home, 2 properties on Brucken Strasse, and 5 big homes which were rented in this same community and subdivision. Let's just say-there was only an issue with this one property-well that I know of anyway. The bar made it a good meeting place for the members that stayed in the same subdivision. We rented a bounce house for the kids at this location because this one had a big front flat yard and the other locations like the Castle in the Sky were too hilly (must have missed the fine print about no bounce house-or we would have never rented). The bounce house area (flat area of grass-no flowers or plants) was inspected and the bounce house was installed by a local professional business. We're military families and are accustomed to taking our kids every where. Well, let's just say this is not a bounce-house friendly place nor kid-friendly community. Otherwise-if there are no kids in your party or any others who are meeting up with you at this spot, then you will like it.

The Toasty Marshmallow was perfect for our long weekend stay for our family of twelve. It is conveniently located near downtown Helen but in a community away from the business. We would definitely stay here again!

In few words it felt like home
The instructions on how to get there, how to check in and everything were all clear. When we got there the house was so modern and nice, it looked way better than it does in the pictures. They also provided us with a lot of little things that made this experience a nicer trip. Overall would rent again, we liked it so much that my friends family thinking about renting it soon.

We all enjoyed the house, just a few things,
We we told there was a indoor pool at the resort, and there was only a outdoor pool.
A few of the decking boards were loose and a trip hazard and as we were relaxing the landscape decided to show up and trim all the bushes with noisy gas powered equipment.
