About this cabin rental
Come stay at the Helen Nature Retreat. This home was built for a family retreat where multi generations can enjoy time together, get away from the city life, kick back and enjoy nature. It is not a "party house"! Although the home can sleep a number of people, it is a cozy home, not large. (roughly 2,200 square feet) This cabin is conveniently located in Alpine Helen, situated on two wooded acres on the 5th green of Innsbruck Golf Course. Enjoy seasonal sunsets over the peaks of the western mountain views from the wrap around deck. Three levels make this cabin ideal for a cozy get away for 2 or for the whole family.
Main level has master bedroom with king bed, TV, bath with Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, and his and her vanity sinks. Upstairs loft has a queen sleeper sofa, a twin futon bed and work station. WiFi connection throughout and a picture perfect view!! There is an additional bedroom with a king bed and full bath that opens to both bedroom and loft with large shower and his and her sinks. Lower level has two bunk beds with full beds on bottom and twin on top (bunks are for children only). Separate bedroom with queen bed. Full bathroom with tub/shower combo.
This cabin will sleep up to 12 persons, adults and children. There is a pack and play and crib available. This property is less than 1 mile from Unicoi State Park and Anna Ruby Falls.

The house was perfect. There was 7 adults in our group. Everyone had their own space. We able to eat together on the screened in porch and barbecue. Everything was provided for our stay. It was Great experience!

The property is well maintained and close to everything in downtown Helen! If you are looking for a gated community close to downtown Helen this is your place! The communication from Pam was so awesome she helped up out with many things and she is so sweet! Can’t say enough about her! The screened in back patio is awesome! So much to do there also so many games and an amazing fire pit with plenty of seating! So many things in the kitchen to use, you don’t need anything! Highly recommend!

This stay was fabulous. The property owner had excellent communication all along the way and even sent over a list of local things to do.
The property is right around the corner from Unicoi state park and close to everything Helen has to offer.
The house was perfect for the three couples staying. Each couple had their own "floor".
I highly recommend this property :). They did a great job.

I met a group of friends from out of state to do our annual golf trip. We chose Innsbruck at Valhalla this year as our destination. We have stayed in several cabins over the years and this one did not disappoint. We especially enjoyed the fire pit area and the screened in porch area. We had 8 guys and everyone enjoyed their time at the cabin.

The property was great. It had a great set up. The porches had a comfortable set up, the screened in patio was wonderful, and the cabin itself was amazing. The owner had movies, a burning pit (outside), air hockey, and basketball (inside and outside). It was a great set-up for me and the children.

This was the perfect place for our family. It was a nice relaxing stay, and the porch was an amazing place for our family to hang out. there were games for everyone to enjoy. We have already discussed going back in the future. The host was delightful and had wonderful communication.

The house was amazing.So much to do for our grandkids! My five grandchildren absolutely loved their stay. We were so close to Helen to do things.Tubed down the river, enjoyed eating out in Helen and walking in town! So much fun. just enjoyed our time there. It was a wonderful getaway for us and our grand children, would definitely love to come back.

The property is an excellent location and has all of the comforts of home plus! My family enjoyed our time together and had a lot of fun playing air hockey, foosball, horse shoes and enjoying the outdoors. The screened patio was our favorite. We had our morning coffee and late night dinners outside.

The cabin was excellent. I had to have emergency surgery a week prior to our arrival date which put me out of all the daily activities that we had planned. The main level was perfect for me. I was able to go up the steps with assistance and everything I needed was on this floor. The recliner was very comfortable and was my bed for the weekend. The kids loved the hot tub and the game room. The screened in porch on main level was great I was able to enjoy family time one night and we roasted marshmallows and had s’mores on the gas fire pit. The corn hole game was a nightly hit for the guys. On the last night the grandsons and son in law decided they would go down and play a game of horse shoes and a young bear decided to join them. Our grandsons didn’t take long to get rid of the horse shoes and get in the house. The grandchildren and their parents decided that they would brave the bear and continue with their plans of campfire outside at the fire pit. The grandsons got in the hot tub and the son in law decided to scare them into the house for the night. The kids thought the bear was back. So that was the memory of the trip. Cabin is just close enough to activities to come back at lunch and grab a sandwich. This is a great place to stay.

We loved the house! Plenty of activities/games for the boys. House was clean and had all the comforts of home. We spent mornings and evenings on the screened in porch around the fire. Pam responded quickly to any questions we had. I would definitely stay here again!

We all enjoyed our stay. They have everything you could ever need for a family. Lots of outside activities and games for the kids. Plenty of room to spread out! Just an awesome time!

Plenty of room for our friends and family. Great communication which made the whole process very easy. Pam answered every question I had. Driveway was fully paved which was a plus for us. Home was exactly as described. Beautiful clean home. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Big house with plenty of space for a family of 6. Kids really enjoyed the games in the game room. Lots of board games, movies, and puzzles. Great for families. Everything we needed was provided; just a trip to the grocery store for food and that was it.
Screened in porch was great. Comfortable beds. Outdoor heater, patio fire pit and grill all had propane with extra provided if need be. Gated community thats very close to Helen and near by sites. Had a great time and we will be back next year.

My family of 8 adults and 2 kids rented this for a weekend to celebrate our father’s 75th birthday. When we entered our he house, the host had hung a happy birthday sign.
The house had everything you want/need to facilitate quality family time. We spent all of our time on the huge screened in porch, talking, eating, playing games, dancing, making s’mores, etc. The hot tub was perfect and the kids enjoyed the swings and game room. If we had another night, we would have used the outdoor fire pit with tons of seating. We can’t wait to return!

We loved our stay at the Dreamcatcher Cabin in Helen! It was the perfect balance of off the beaten path but still close to the hustle and bustle of the one of the cutest little towns I have ever visited.
The home was very roomy with so many great amenities. The kids absolutely loved making smores in the outdoor fire pit and the cabin was pre stocked with wooden skewers for the marshmallows and more firewood than we could have ever needed! We made use of the fireplace inside as well and spent time playing some of the board games that were available.
The kitchen even had everything we needed to cook a great meal.
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great family getaway! So many wonderful memories made!

My husband and I try to do a weekend getaway with our kids now that they are grown. It’s hard to find a house that has game tables while also being close to everything and the proper sleeping arrangements. This house gave us everything we desired! Everyone was able to spread out and kick back while also coming together for the competition with all of the fun games, fire pit, back deck and hot tub. They guys enjoyed a round of golf and we all had a great time in downtown Helen. We will definitely come again and stay here! Pam was also quick to reply to any questions a that I had. Perfect weekend!

The property was absolutely beautiful! Pam was wonderful and answered all our equestrians prior to arrival and was accessible for a few non urgent questions I had. It was so peaceful and quiet! It was exactly what our family needed to get away and relax before the holidays! My kids are already asking to go back!

The house was a great layout for our family, which with 2 grown children and their families, was actually 3 families. Each had their own floor. We loved the screened porch . Hopefully, we did not disturb the neighbors ,which were a good distance away, as we cheered on our Gamecocks football team in the Palmetto bowl.
