About this house rental
Located just one mile from the Summit at Snoqualmie Pass, the Mountain Home Cabin offers an ideal 'home base' for your mountain get away and adventures and is less than 1 miles off I90. This cabin offers a nice blend of a cozy rustic cabin with modern conveniences, updated finishes and furnishings.
The space
Kitchen/living/dining is a great room, open concept. The living room offers a propane stove as well as an electric fireplace. Take your pick and just flip the switch for instant warmth and ambiance. Large TV for streaming your favorite platform.
The sleeping loft offers two bedrooms separated by a sliding door. (See bedroom photos for complete details including a room and furniture layout.) There are two King beds that are super comfortable 14" thick memory foam mattresses, crisp linens, cozy comforters and tons of fluffy pillows. Additional sleeping includes a twin bed and a twin fold out bed upstairs and a full sized sofa sleeper and full-sized futon in the living room.
The kitchen offers everything you need to cook and serve a meal here including a full-sized stove and refrigerator (no dishwasher).
Gaze out the window at the falling snow or go out and play in it. When the snow clears you can access the property around the cabin and enjoy the fire-pit (unless there is a burn ban in effect).
We are one of a very few vacation rentals in the area that allows single night stays so you can get away from it all without spending a lot. Or, stay 7 days or longer and enjoy one of our extended stay discounts. Either way, you'll love your trip to the Snoqualmie Pass with its snowy white winters, sunny sky summers, green trees, jagged mountains, crystal blue alpine lakes and so much more.
Guest access
The entire cabin is yours throughout your stay. Parking for two vehicles on the driveway. When snow clears, we have more parking next to the house.
We're about 1 mile from Summit West and Central and about 2 miles from Hyak and Alpental. We are also about 1 mile from the services at the pass - The Commonwealth restaurant, Dru Bru, Pie for the People pizza and more.
Other things to note
No Smoking please
Quiet hours 10pm-7am in respect for neighbors.
Winter time access can change day to day and hour by hour. Road is plowed daily by the county and we clear the driveway for you. But it's very important that you are ready for winter driving from sometime in November/December when winter hits until March/April, depending on the year.

Nice to be five minutes from the tubing sled hill and the chairlift!
This is not a fancy place, Pretty sparse kitchen, very simple accommodations, but perfect for a place to sleep in between ski days!
Really easy to get there, road and driveway totally clear

Our family has so much fun staying here! We have two teenagers so this location was perfect to be so close to the slopes! Everything was SO CLEAN and well-stocked. Kitchen had every type of pot/pan/utensil to cook what we brought. BIG refrigerator to store everything. Came with extra blankets and pillows, fireplace was warm, washer and dryer was nice, bathroom was big, sleeping areas allowed everyone to spread out and wake up/go to sleep on their own time! We couldn’t be happier with our stay. And our doggy loved being able to come along too! Our only input for change ours be to make the stairs more easy to access up and down. They are pretty steep that they would be unsafe for little kids or older adults. Otherwise, ABSOLUTELY PERFECT STAY!

This cabin was just perfect for our vacay. Easy to get to the slopes. It was also great for snuggling up to binge shows with the fam, and cooking our own meals. Thanks for allowing doggies!! It really isn’t a vacation without our pups❤️

This cabin met all of our needs with cozy comfort! Our family stayed here the night before my daughter's adventure, outdoor wedding nearby. We were mom, dad and 2 younger sisters of the bride, plus the groom and our granson who's 1. We all slept comfortably in amazingly comfy beds! There were plenty of soft blankets and pillows to accomodate a party of 7. In the morning as we were getting the bride ready, members of the bridal party and family stopped in to grab a snack or help move flowers and things to the site and we never felt too cramped. We were able to prepare coffee and food without any concerns. Everything we needed was right there. The internet and tv were great, plenty of outlets and light for hair and make up, and even a washer and dryer when we actually needed them. We had plenty of space, adequate heat and we all wished we could stay another night!! We thank you for a perfect place to stay right where we needed it. Your cabin is a cozy, comfy little gem! We will be back as we wished we could've spent more time there.

I would highly recommend this property! My husband and I stayed with our two dogs at this cozy cabin. The fireplace was perfect and plenty of blankets to use. King size beds were very comfortable. I will consider this property again when we head back to the summit.
Thank you!

Great cabin in the woods
Snoqualmie pass area is undergoing a bit of expansion which, quite frankly, I am surprised took so long. Nonetheless, this area can still slow one down and bring the nostalgia of the less crowded and easier times of youth. (At least for this 45 year old who grew up around ski areas winter and summer.)
Our stay in this cabin tucked in the woods was perfect. No doubt, I will be back.

Better than expected!
We had an amazing time! Definitely a place we could see ourselves going to again. The only thing it was missing was a guest log to leave some fun notes and suggestions.

Staying to ski near Snowqualmie Center
Very close to skiing the 3 sections of Snoqualmie Pass. Close to great food and brewery options. Good coffee close by and real Snoqualmie made gifts for souvenirs!

Loved the location and property manager was outstanding
We loved how close this cabin was to Snoqualamie, and it was cozy and warm. Had it not been for the property manager, who was lovely and very responsive, we would have rated our stay a 3. We didn't have wifi during our stay, which was annoying but not crucial, but only because our stay was short. It would have been unacceptable for a longer period. Christine and her husband came to the cabin twice to try to fix the problem, but they were unsuccessful. The stairs to the upstairs bedrooms were especially steep and narrow. Lugging bags up sideways, because my feet were a couple of inches too long for the stairs, and having to hold on with one hand because they're so steep, was not ideal. That's a bad fall waiting to happen, and could easily be updated! (My husband's a carpenter, so I'm not just saying that...)

Lovely, quiet, cabin
The location is perfect for those that ski, sled or snowboard.
But its also very low key and quiet, when you just need to have a cozy quiet escape for a few days.

This experience was amazing!
I really liked our stay and how our host communicated with us! I want to highlight the design and the atmosphere of the cabin inside: it looked very nice and cozy! The kitchen had all supplies, lots of pans and other extra stuff that some houses don’t even have! Thank you so much for making this stay so fun!

Great Potential
This cabin has the basics, and is very well located (1 mile from Ski Trails). My family of 4 enjoyed our stay, but given its proximity to skiing we would have liked it to come better equipped for our ski equipment. There were no hooks anywhere in the cabin to hang up our coats/ski pants. There was a mud room that had a intoxicating dog smell, and again no place to put ski gear. Other than that shortcoming, the cabin met our needs.
