This Ohana has many places for your family to escape to and have a bit privacy, or spend time together and enjoy the beauty of Maui from the spacious upstairs lanai that overlooks the private swimming pool, hot tub, and Ka’anapali Resort.
Hale Vista is a lovely and spacious two-story home with most of its living area on the entry level which is upstairs, so you will not be climbing stairs to enter the house. There is an amazing open living space with ample seating for family gatherings and a large TV to enjoy movies and games with your family. The living room flows straight into the gourmet kitchen that is fully equipped with everything that you need to whip up amazing dinners or just enjoy conversation around the beautiful bar area.
Walk straight out of the living room on to the lanai. The lanai has ample seating for you to enjoy conversation and a sunset cocktail or hang out as you play a game of ping pong. There is a gas BBQ grill and seating for 8 at the dining table on the lanai as well. Down the lanai stairs, you have a refreshing outdoor swimming pool and hot tub with lovely tropical garden views. There are sun loungers, a dining table, umbrellas, and an outdoor pool shower. Enjoy the lush tropical setting as you soak up the Maui sun all from the comfort of Hale Vista.

Halle Vista was an incredible property! We stayed here for 10 days with our family, ranging in age from 2 to 70. The house was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Every part of the home, from the kitchen to the patio and every room in between, was beautifully appointed. The property manager was extremely responsive to a minor issue that arose, resolving it within 20 minutes of our initial call. The location of this house was ideal, being close to Kaanapali Beach and Whaler’s Village. Everyone loved relaxing in the pool and hot tub after a long day of activities and excursions. We would jump at the chance to stay here again!

We were a family group of 7 including grandpardnts and grandchildren, coming from NZ and Canada. We were there mainly for the beaches and snorkeling. The house is really well located in terms of accessing all of the beach and snorkeling spots along the west coast and our day trips took us north to Nakalele Blowhole and south to Makena beach. There's a shortage of parking at Kaanapali but its only a 15min walk. Bonus - its also only 3 minutes from the Snorkel Store, although the house does come with some beach chairs & umbrellas. Kitchen had everything we needed and the excellent pool was well used by the grandies. Heat pump in every bedroom and the kitchen/lounge was very welcome.

This house was perfect for our family of 7. We had plenty of space to spread out, the kitchen had all we needed and the pool was a perfect added bonus. So much outdoor space and an amazing view from the deck.
The management was so responsive and helpful. We loved the location and how we could walk to the beach (and those chairs were perfect too).
Would recommend for families for sure! The 4th bedroom is a suite downstairs separate from the main entrance but was perfect and had plenty of space for our pack and play.

The property is quite private with a pool and large jacuzzi. It is also well located within a few minutes walk from the Ka’anapali resorts and beach. So it’s easy to access restaurants and Safeway and snorkeling gear, etc.
The house has a very large living/dining/kitchen open plan area. It was large enough that the eight of us (ann extended family of 5 adults and 3 children under the of 9) had plenty of room to occupy different spaces in it.
The outside decks and balcony were substantial and there was a dining table and plenty of chairs, lounge chairs, and side table looking West into sunsets.
Everything worked well; we experienced no maintenance issues. The only minor complaint is that they didn’t have any beach items like boards or fins, which other rentals had.
All of us agreed we would rent the house again if we came back to Lahaina.

This is a gorgeous house! We brought our family of 9 and there was plenty of room to have our own space and also all be together. Huge kitchen to cook in and plenty of room to eat inside and outside. The guest suite is perfect for families with smaller children. It was easy to keep an eye on them by the pool. The pool is perfect for little kids as well as adults and we cannot wait to come back next year!

Wonderful property for our family of 7. Space for everyone to have some relax time. Pool and whirlpool were much appreciated. It was nice to have a supplied kitchen to cook together and grill! The welcome basket was a blessing as we had quite the trip getting to Maui.

Perfect in every way…
Our family of 7 spent 8 nights in this beautiful home. As soon as you walk through the front door you get the feeling that this is going to be a great stay. My kids loved the the freedom to play ping pong, swim, explore and have some alone time in the many bedrooms available. The ice machine on the bar was a great touch along with just about every kitchen gadget you could imagine.
Location was 4 min to Whalers Village and beach. We highly recommend this rental and look forward to staying here again in the future!

Nice place, but too many restrictions/rules!
Pros: It's a great house in a nice neighborhood, located across the street from the golf course, beach and resorts. The house was tastefully decorated and there were some nice amenities.
Cons: Too many rules and restrictions! Can't use the pool or hot tub after 9pm. Can't bring anyone to the house that are not registered guests. Can't have more than 3 cars. Can't park on the street. No early check-ins or late check-outs. If you do this or don't do that, you'll be fined or kicked out without a refund.
It was stressful trying to follow all of the rules. My family and I went there to celebrate my 50th birthday, but we didn't feel like we could truly have fun. We had to meet people elsewhere because we couldn't have them come and BBQ with us at the house. We are responsible, mature adults but felt like kids in a classroom. I understand the need for some of the rules for safety, respect for residents, and protection of property, but with a pandemic, a house is safer to gather than a public area. We didn't have a choice and couldn't thoroughly enjoy the house that paid to stay in. Plus...
-Master bedroom did not have it own bathroom - it's shared
-Ceiling fan in the living did not operate correctly
-Temperature controls in showers were the opposite (hot is cold and cold is hot - learned the hard way!)
-Fridge ice maker was not working
-Lights turned on/off sporadically (not the sensored ones)
-Cameras made people feel "watched" and uncomfortable
-TV remotes were not working properly, even after we changed out the batteries

Wonderful for a family stay
My family and I spent several days/nights here while preparing for my wedding. It was a wonderful place for all of us. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was big and spacious. The open concept into the living room allowed us all to be together. The pool and hot tub were AMAZING and we had the best time spending time in them. The neighborhood was nice and we felt safe the entire stay. The decor inside was also great. The outdoor showers were a plus for after the beach; the beach chairs and other items provided were also great!
We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend this property to anyone and everyone!

Fantastic Week in Lahaina
This property was wonderful and absolutely everything we needed for adults and kids. The pool and hot tub were perfect and everything was very clean. All the bedrooms were great and the kitchen and main living room were perfect for a big groups.
The kitchen was fully stocked with almost everything you could need.
Location wise it’s a little bit of a walk across a busy street and through the golf course to get to Whaler’s Village or the beach but not too bad.
Would definitely recommend this place to any groups who will be cooking meals at home and want access to a pool.

Beautiful family friendly house!
We LOVED this property! We were in Maui for a family vacation that included 3 generations from 1 year old to 69. It was great for all ages! We spent every afternoon playing in the pool, grilled out every night, and all had space to spread out and be comfortable. It was great to have a washer and dryer on hand, as well as access to beach towels and beach toys. We hope to come back and stay again...it was the perfect location for all that we wanted to do!

Maui Retreat
The Hale Evans at Kaanapali Vista worked out perfectly for our family of six. All couples, so each couple enjoyed their own bedroom and bath. The open floor plan of the family room & kitchen opening out onto the deck was very comfortable and made for great interaction. The walk to Kaanapali Beach and Whalers Village was reasonable. The hardest part was waiting at the stop light to cross the busy street. In the end we found parking at Whalers Village and having our parking validated when purchasing something (which we did every day) was very convenient, especially at the end of the day. The pool and jacuzzi were very nice. Even after a day at the beach, it was nice to take a quick dip in the pool and use the outdoor showers to rinse off. We liked that the house uses solar power too. Beach chairs, beach towels, bamboo mats, and umbrellas were all provided which was very convenient!
The kitchen had ample supplies of dish ware, pots and pans, bowls, utensils, bowls, and a variety of appliances. Although the standard blender was not working we found making margaritas with the “bullet” mixer very easy and convenient. After making pineapple, papaya, strawberry, mango and blueberry margaritas, the group favorite was clearly the pineapple margarita!

Best Stay Ever
We booked our stay at Hale Evans 3 days before traveling to Maui. We were a group of 8 people, celebrating a honeymoon, birthday, and ready to have a good time. This house has EVERYTHING you could possibly want in a vacation rental. The house is open, clean, and has everything stocked that you could need. The rooms were spacious and clean. The pool and hot tub were one of our favorite locations of the entire house!
The location is also perfect. You are within 15 minutes of some the most beautiful beaches Maui has to offer.
Thomas, our host, went above and beyond for all of our needs and questions. We really cant say enough about this house and highly recommend it to anyone who has a big group.
We cant wait to return to Maui and visit the Hale Evans property in the future!

Perfect vacation rental for a family
The rental house perfect for large families. With 4 bedrooms, plenty of room for some extended family too. Ideal location in heart of Kaanapali and quick drive to Lahaina south or Kapalua north. Plenty of top notch restaurants nearby. Beautiful sunsets on west side of Maui. House itself is well taken care of and excellently managed by the Harris group. Very responsive to any questions/concerns during booking, leading up to trip and while there. House very clean. Well stocked kitchen. AC in every room. Washer/dryer. Etc. nice pool and hot tub which are kids used everyday. Pool not heated but attached hot tub that overflows into pool heats up pretty hot on demand. We were there in February, basically the coolest time of year (if that is saying much considering so little temp fluctuation in Maui relatively speaking) and the pool water temp was tolerable. Overall couldn’t ask for more in a rental home in Maui. We will return! Again, can’t praise the management enough, they are great! Mahalo!

great location (near all the action from hotel row at Kaanapali beach) but far enough away to get some quiet time.
Allows for easy access to some great beaches on the upper west side and walking distance to Whaler's Village is a bonus. Further, not a bad drive to get to Paia on the the north side, or into Kahului for shopping or more action.
Perfect spot for easy access to multiple quality golf courses too
House was perfect: pool was a great addition and made for a lovely setting.
Clean house and in good repair - nice working kitchen, which made staying in for meals a pleasure.
