A wonderful holiday break

Amazing holiday venue with excellent facilities and wonderful property.

Some of the ranger staff were limited in their knowledge

Enjoyable thank you.

Lots of wildlife, Nyala, dassies and squirrels in the camp. Clean and quiet.

Stairs are a bit challenging for older persons.

A great break away from the city buzz

Tranquil setting, peaceful place for a break away from the city!

There wasn’t any Wi-Fi at the resort or the room, and the TV in the unit isn’t a smart TV.

The staff were so helpful and friendly - they were amazing

We were given a remote for DSTV - but there was no decoder ? When we stayed at Bush Lodge in Feb - there was a decoder in the unit. Not sure why we were given the remote.

Peace and only the sound of the Bush

Breakfast Buffet at the Main lodge was exceptional. The chalet is perfect for two persons. The swimming pools are beautiful. Loved the Modjadji Monday night braai and pap made by Rosina. Had two great game drives and although we didn't see many animals we enjoyed being in the bush. The stars at night are just incredible.

I had to notify staff during our second night staying that no one came to clean the first day after check in on the Sunday. The unit kitchen zink cupboard had wet mouldy smell. The alarm that needs to be set at units.

Romantic refresh-and-rewind bush getaway

The friendlyness of the staff.. very inviting.. private and cosy and peaceful.. what we needed..

We could have had a bit more info on the game drives. That the lions visiting drive is separate etc.. for people that cannot braai due to rain or make food at the chalet due to load shedding, you should have a separate cheaper alternative for ordering food.. although we had a fabulous weekend and enjoyed the supper and breakfast at the restaurant.. it was really good food and great service.. thx.. the one game drive that we went on was wonderful, enyjoyed it alot, thank you. Very informative and a the game rangers are very good at what they do

Terrible, disaster, shocking (literally).

We nearly got electrocuted in the showers. An electrician verified that the earth cable was bypassed and not connected in the DB board. The DB board was a total disaster and non compliant. We were all in pain and shock to say the least. There were big rats in the kitchen. The roof leaked all over the top story. One room's shower was not working at all. The stair case is very dangerous and illegal according to safety and building requirements. The stove couldn't work so no cooking facilities. The electricity was off for the whole of Saturday due to the electrician trying to sort it out. They needed access to all the units so we could not join our family for my dad's 80th birthday. My brothers booking through you did not exist and he had to argue and get a unit 7 kilometres from us thus the family was split. In general is ruined our whole weekend. I was very disappointed as we paid a lot to go there. I require a full refund as this just cost us time and money and ruined my dad's special day.

Lovely reserve. Chalet very good - in great location, peaceful and beautiful view.

Brought our own breakfast

1. Websites' usability poor. Don't state anywhere that you can't drive around the reserve yourself and have to have guided drives. You need to provide this information. 2. We stayed at Bushtime Mabula in Unit 19 Modjaji. Neither your websites nor Booking.com advised us that there were a number of game drive credits per unit. We were four people and when I tried to book drives, we were advised that we had one credit each. After booking, our confirmation showed that we actually had 6 credits for the chalet, not per person. No information about this either on Booking.com, nor your websites. Very confusing. 3.. We missed a game drive as we couldn't find the pick-up location. Your map was not clear and didn't help us at all. Extra signage in the reserve would help. 4. We got lost trying to get to the main lodge as there is insufficient signage showing how to get there from various parts of the reserve. Signage to accommodation good - not to game drive pick-up points or to the Main Lodge.

Absolutely wonderful

It's perfect for self catering. It really has everything needed. The location is also great. Well functioning generator and aircon. Friendly antelope and many bird species that roam the area.

They could do better at organizing game drives. Either more vehicles are needed or a cancelation mechanism is needed.
