This cabin was perfectly located near the Pictured Rocks park. The kayaks provided were perfect to go out on the little lake in the backyard. The cabin fit our group of 5. We would stay again!

We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was a beautiful remote setting. We spent our time kayaking/fishing during the day, sitting around the fire in the evening or putting puzzles together with all the windows open letting the cool breeze come through. Hands down the most relaxing vacation we’ve ever taken. Would stay again!

The property is as described and look the same as on the pictures. The setting is even more beautiful than described and offers everything for a relaxing holiday. I wish we could have stayed longer!

We stayed here as base camp for exploring Pictured Rocks with 2 young kids and 2 adults. Cabin was very clean and a nice quiet location. We did hear the dogs at the nearby dog sled camp at night howling, but it wasn't that bad and usually didn't last long. We just pretended it was some Wolf's howling. WiFi worked good, cell service is very poor with Verizon. We never tried the TV. Newer propane grill was nice. Outdoor table only has 3 chairs and was in pretty rough condition and is ready to be retired. We were lucky and did not see any bugs outside during our stay in late August. Property manager is very quick to respond with questions. Location wise it seemed to be about ~30 min drive in either direction to most of the Pictured Rocks trails. There is nothing nearby, so if you need supplies, it's not a quick stop. If your looking for a very quiet and remote location, I would not hesitate to recommend this cabin. And if you like the evening sky, this was Bortle 1 location.

It took a minute to figure out which driveway was ours but when we arrived it was heaven. The view was great the cabin is cozy, has some updates the owners are working on but we didn’t mind. The beds were comfortable. We used the two kayaks every day and found beautiful painted turtles and hit the right time for the water lilies to be in full bloom. We would stay here again.

We absolutely felt at home here and could Invision a future in the UP. The only down side is the distance away from gas and groceries. Don't let your tank go below a quarter and plan your meals ahead. Besides that it is a great place to stay when seeing pictured rocks. Thank you!

Ok! First, pictures don’t do this cabin justice. It’s super cozy! A lot has been done, clearly, since the original pictures. Kitchen is stocked! Location is amazing to access all of Pictured Rocks and right off main snowmobile trails. Thanks so much the girls had a blast!

Overall really enjoyed our stay on the peaceful lake and property - it was just the peace and quiet we were looking for. We found the location perfect for hiking in Pictured Rocks and exploring with our toddler. I will say that the cabin isn't sound proof, so if your group needs privacy or has different bedtimes, that will likely be a challenge. It worked just fine for us but is good to know going in.

We had such a great time staying here. We had 4 adults and 4 children under 10. We enjoyed catching (and releasing) fish with the kids, kayaking, the kids enjoyed digging in the sand. We have been to the area before so we knew the distance to Munising, and didn't mind the 30 ish minute drive into town. We really enjoyed the sounds of the lake and woods in the evening and early morning, and star gazing was incredible. We heard dogs barking but not while we were sleeping. The kitchen was well stocked for what we cooked, plenty of towels and the washer and dryer were necessary with younger kids. We would definitely stay again.

I will start with the downfalls by saying that one bed had most obviously been peed in and should have been thoroughly laundered rather than made up as if it were clean. The second point is that yes, the kennel dogs nearby do howl as a pack most often during the nights, which is incredibly irritating for those who cannot sleep through noise. Otherwise the property and view and space were terrific.

Pictured Rocks
Great cabin near pictured rocks on a scenic lake. There are a lot of bugs though so bring spray and layers!

Mosquitoes
The property was very nice on a small private lake. It looked as it was depicted in the listing. Please note, this does not seem to be a swimming lake. During the summer the mosquitoes and black flies were relentless. I am not rating on the outside, but inside the cabin there were many mosquitoes. Most of the screens in the house had rips/holes or the frames were not flush and we could not open the windows as the mosquitoes would flood in. We were killing mosquitoes on us inside the house and listening to them buz at night. After staying in multiple VRBOs over the years, the price per night did not match up to the property or amenities. It was not a bad stay, there were little things here and there that could be improved and it just didn't meet our expectations. We traveled back and forth to Pictured Rocks over our stay. It is about a 35 minute drive into Munising.

Phenomenal semi-private lake for kayaking and fishing. Really nice house as well. We had an excellent time overall.

Men's Retreat
Great property! The only thing that isn't 5 stars is the fact that there is a dog kennel nearby where the dogs bark at night. Very nice cabin.

Quiet stay on the lake
We enjoyed our stay and loved waking up to see the mist on the lake in the morning. The kitchen contained everything you would need. Great location close to lots of places to see.

Men's Retreat
This was a great spot near Pictured Rocks for us to do a small men's retreat for guys from our church. Very quiet and private and near a lot of great wilderness.

Excellent retreat
As healthcare providers (Respiratory Therapist, Registered Nurse) cleanliness is very important to us. This place was A+++ clean! A quiet, remote location offered a great retreat from the hustle and bustle of the big city, but short commutes to major attractions in the area. My daughter enjoyed the kayaks and hammock! Would definitely consider Nauti Pines again in the future if we return to the upper peninsula.

Very peaceful and relaxing area.
This lodge is a very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. The lake is beautiful. We had the opportunity to fish and kayak which was very nice. At night at the fire we could hear the wolves in the background which was interesting for the kids. We had a couple of issues but the management and owner were very kind about our concerns and took care of things as soon as possible. The only draw back is that it is a very remote location if you are choosing to do site seeing. It is quite a drive to the sites, restaurants and stores. Other than that our stay was very pleasant.

Great getaway
Clean spacious home on the lake good for kayaking, fishing, wonderful location to trail ride, not to far from stores. Would recommend to others.

Comfortable cabin with all the necessities + but a remote location.
Cabin was beautiful with comfortable furniture and had everything you needed on hand in the kitchen. The kayaks were unexpectedly + and enjoyed catching several pike from the lake. If you have to go Grand Marais or traveling north to 77, it's 10 miles of gravel road. The direction signs on Nugent lake road were to small to read although we did find it.

U.P. fun
Great cabin in a secluded location with all amenities yet rustic feel. Perfect location if you like exploring pictured rocks area or fishing area lakes. Mervin Lake although small is full of pike and landed a 32" 7lber casting from shore. Let her go to swim another day to be caught by someone else.

In looking for a family trip this year to escape all the negativity in the world for a few days, this was hands down the only type of vacation to take. The cabin was amazing, the scenery serene, and total solitude if you so choose. Nearest town where’s there’s actually a grocery store and civilization is about 30 mins away. Taking a day trip to Eban Ice Caves and a day spent with Husky Haven Adventures, definitely was entertaining. Two suggestions I didn’t know before hand, 1 take DVDs or Blu Rays... Your in the wilderness so definitely remember that before you take 4 teenagers who are city folks, and the 2nd, please follow the directions provided by the owner or Alyssa the grounds keeper. DO NOT FOLLOW GPS! We had to be towed off of a snowmobiling trail as my GPS took us into the woods! No signal and extremely scary. This was our fault as we were given written directions and still followed the GPS. I will go back but knowing what I know now, I would tell kids to leave phones at home. ♀️
