The room was large and comfortable and the location of the hotel was perfect, right in the center of the City and close to good restaurants.
The room was dark, the only window we had was overseeing a restaurant.
I had to work and needed to use the Wi-Fi, the Wi-Fi connection was not reliable and many times I had to use the restaurant's adjacent to the hotel.
The hotel offers valet parking, which they place your car in a public parking lot. However if you arrive in the evening there is no valet parking available, you need to request a card to enter and exit from the parking lot (much more convenient).
One more advice, if you can avoid it, do not have them do your laundry, they charge twice as much as any other hotel I stayed, for the same load amount.

Very nice relaxing atmosphere.
I wish there were more towels in the room. For two of us, there were just two bath towels and one face towel.

Excellent location, charming old “grand” hotel from yesteryear, super delightful staff. Lovely park side restaurant/bar for a beer and people watching.
Water pressure in shower not great, a little threadbare here and there. Very central location so a bit noisy.

Ubicación y atención del personal
El cobertor no es muy cómodo y existe un ruido de campana que se escucha fuerte dentro del lugar

Nice hotel, but right in front of the Church.
Bells were ringing every half an hour.
We couldn't sleep!

Convenient location, wonderful staff.
One day they didn’t have a person for valet parking, and we didn’t get a warning.
Some pillows were visibly not clean.
Rooms don’t have a mini fridge.

The location of this hotel to city center activities is ideal. The town is walkable and being in middle proximity to everything is a huge convenience factor since driving the roads is less ideal.
Gym access would be nice, but not a requirement.

Staff was very friendly, helpful, professional. The place was clean and ideally located near major historical monuments and plazas.

The room was nice and that was about it.
nice room but noisy with the music outside, toilet handle was partially broken, no luggage rack we had to use an ottoman, breakfast was not very appealing and extra charge if you wanted it. Location was good for walking around. Would most likely stay somewhere else next time.

The location, room, staff, and restaurant were excellent. No noise issues. The hotel and room were very clean. I would definitely stay here again.
Small problem with the air conditioner in my room. It actually functioned well but was occasionally noisy during its cycle.

First they had a driverat airport- very nice for late arrival. They also arranged low cost Uber to San Miguel when we left. Room had very high ceiling and overlooked a park.
Room fine and fun restauraant downstairs.

Big room for the price. Good location in the middle of tourist stuff. I was there during a Christmas festivity so I can't say how it is in "normal" times.
This is VERY far from a 5-star hotel. 3-star maximum. Nothing special, just normal, unremarkable plain vanilla. No valet, no concierge, broken faucets and decor in the room, etc. -- I'm not into that, don't care, but I know what happens at a 5-star hotel. There wasn't even parking available when I was there, nor any service to actually get me to the hotel. I had to pack a backpack out of my suitcase, change of underwear and a toothbrush, and hike in 15 minutes from the edge of town. We're not even to the bad part yet: The hotel is IMMEDIATELY next to gigantic church bells that sound every 30 minutes 24-hours a day. There are air gaps in the balcony doors, no soundproofing whatsoever. You will get at most 30 minutes of sleep at a time. Did I mention those bells are loud and all night long? I would not stay here again.

Great staff
The church down the street ringing the church bell every hour.

We liked the staff, and we liked our first room (139) It was a large room and met all our needs. Everything was functional and we appreciated the bottles of water left in the room. Also appreciated having a coffee machine.
When we first checked in, we were told that there was another room with a balcony that they would be willing to move us to the next day at 12:00 noon. The room we moved to (146) was much smaller, and the door lock on top was broken, and the carpet was ripped. Had we known the room would be so much smaller, we would not have agreed to move. The addition of the balcony did not compensate for the other negative attributes of the new room. If we ever stay again, we would request our first room or one like it.

centralized location and walking distance to everywhere in town.
