About this house rental

Welcome to our cozy, 1-bedroom, newly updated 700 sq ft coach house. Each room in the suite looks over lush garden and forest views. There is a large private patio with table and chairs overlooking the garden. Hardwood flooring throughout the suite, base heaters and electric fireplace warm the space immediately. Our large kitchen is fully stocked with all the dishes, utensils and appliances you could need and some basic spices, cooking oil and condiments. The full fridge and freezer is great to accomodate a full grocery shop and the breakfast bar is located beside the kitchen. The bedroom has a queen sized bed and 3 dressers for storage, while the designer futon in the living area can sleep 2 extra guests. A 4-piece bathroom with soaker tub is a nice treat as well as child friendly amenities available by request. Most importantly our own loving touch and local art has been added to this very special space.

Our family coordinated a family vacation in the Comox Valley, and the main vacation rental accommodation could only accommodate six people, so I stayed in this charming vacation rental, located in a relaxing and secluded forested location. The name of the rental, Dancing Trees, says it all. Check-in process was super efficient, hosts were very friendly and accommodating, but also hands off, only interacting as needed. Nice, hardwood flooring, and it contains a living space, separate bedroom, and kitchen & dining area above the garage. You also have access to garbage & recycling and laundry area on the main floor of the garage (which I didn't use). Very clean; the provided Keurig K-cups and toiletries, towels, etc., were greatly appreciated. A couple minor repairs needed, but other than that, a great space at an affordable price. Would stay again!

This little cozy loft was perfect for my hubby, 9 year old son, doggo and I. It had all the amenities we needed to feel the comforts of home. It was clean and very central location to be able to visit our family in Courtney and Comox. Would love to return and stay again in tje future.

The accommodation was a cozy little loft on a quiet, treed lot. It had everything we needed for our short stay. It’s in a quiet area, but not too far from anywhere. In short, perfect!

This suite is beautifully renovated with a very good size kitchen. The hosts provided everything we needed. It is clean and in a peaceful, gorgeous garden. Good hiking and biking trails are nearby. We only ate in the kitchen but there are many restaurants nearby. In spite of the heat outside the air conditioning kept the space cool. Netflix was much appreciated after a day of hiking. We highly recommend this suite for one or two people.

Everything went smoothly. The kitchen was very well equipped. Comfortable bed. The eating area was quite small - a couple of bar stools at a counter. Just a small quibble though.

Absolutely incredible at an extremely reasonable price. I was only here very briefly, putting in time before a 5:45 am flight out of Comox, but I would definitely recommend for a longer stay. The one-bedroom suite is spacious, cozy, and private, with a roomy and very well-equipped litchen. The outside balcony is adorable - wish I could have stayed to have coffee on it. The hosts, Cameron and Michele.

This was my second time at Dancing Trees and it felt like coming home. Situated in a quiet rural subdivision, the suite is clean, thoughtfully decorated and features a well stocked kitchen for those who like to prepare their own meals. Hosts are communicative and welcoming!

This is excellent value for your money. Very nice place tucked into a woodsy cul del sac thats minutes from shopping and great hiking. So magnificently quiet this place! Full privacy but hosts are there and helpful when needed. Kitchen is most excellently equipped and this place looks exactly as photographed....very nice!

My cousin and I enjoyed a brief but incredibly pleasant stay here. The hosts are lovely, and have the most adorable, gentle dog who was very respectful of our space, but helped us feel welcomed. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks guys!

The best part of this accommodation is its location - literally minutes from the Comox airport, just outside the busyness of Comox.Courtenay in a wooded setting. The interior pictures do show the slanted roof which was a challenge for the two of us tall people - can't sit up in bed, on the couch or at the breakfast nook. And construction on the main house meant the property was abit of a mess. Still, we slept well and were able to make an early trip to the airport, so this guest house worked well for our overnight layover. Recommend for a short visit for 2 people.

This is a lovely turnkey property set in a rural-like area. It is within minutes drive of all amenities in the Comox Valley . The owners are very accomodating and pleasant. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return visit.

Sloped ceilings and lack of comfortable seating in the living room. No counter space in bathroom. We found the bed to be firm and the box spring was on the floor to make up for lack of head space due to the sloped ceiling in the bedroom. The finishes in the suite were well done, just lacking useable space. The kitchen was well stocked and functional.

Dancing Trees Guest suite above the garage, is a great get away from the city. The well stalked kitchen makes it easy to cook, the thoughtful decor brings peace and harmony, and the lane way lights welcome you back after dark. The family dog is friendly and comes on strong when you first arrive - be warned. :o)

This was a lovely, quiet location with all the creature comforts you need. Someone has paid nice attention to all the little details right down to extra wine glasses and linens. Within 10 minutes drive of several great pubs and restaurants and less than 30 minutes to the local slopes. Very nice to be able to bring our dog! Thanks for a great weekend getaway stay.

The place is clean, well organized and located in a very pleasant area. The owners are really taking care of their guests and are a very nice family. The few toys left for our daughter were really appreciated. Just to mention it, there is only 1 bedroom, the other is the living room where the couch can be converted into bed. The place is actually in the backyard that you can share with the host familly (our daughter made a friend here :) )

We loved staying here. It was the perfect size for the three of us, beautifully decorated, super clean and less than an hour to whale watching in Campbell River, and hiking and ziplining on and around Mt Washington. The home had great touches like board games, magazines, games and books for kids, tons of comfy cushions and rugs, and even a fireplace (although we didn't use it as it was a warm week). Our hosts were really kind when we needed advice on restaurants (Locals was amazing!) and offered up extra chairs when our friends came round for dinner on the outdoor patio. A really great place to stay.

The suite is located over a garage, separate from all other buildings. Clean, well-stocked. Very friendly owners. We had a great time. If someone had mobility issues (wheelchair or walker) the entry stairs might be a bit dicey but wasn’t an issue for us. Would definitely return!
