We love Surf Sounds. Our third stay and it was perfect as always. We shared the house with our kids and grandkids. A great family vacation. Always clean and well equipped. Close to the beach, on street with no traffic. The hosts were very easy to reach and responsive.

This was a wonderful rental property. The unit is exactly as advertised, and the Moore's thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. The home was super clean upon arrival. The location is fantastic with the beach access so close. We appreciated that bed linens and bath towels were included. We enjoyed riding bikes on Ocean Drive and on the path on the main road. We highly recommend this property and look forward to returning to the Crystal Coast!

My mom and I were just absolutely in love with your property as soon as we walked in the door! The access to the beach is amazing and made it so easy to setup everything without having to worry about making several trips! The neighborhood is very nice and family friendly! This is my second stay and won’t be my last. The property provides easy access (and views!) to the beach. The house is very comfortable and has all the comforts you need while on vacation. I love staying here - it feels like home, but also feels like a a vacation oasis. The Moore’s make the entire process so easy and accessible. Always a great experience . . . except the party where your vacation has to end. ;)

This lovely home was the perfect place for our trip to beautiful Emerald Island. The owners have gone overboard by supplying everything you could possibly need while away from your own home. The location was also great, it was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. We hope to rent it again in the near future.

The duplex was very clean and well furnished. The half bath was in the master bedroom which was nice. We brought our dog and laid blankets we brought with us on the furniture so his hair wasn't a problem. It was very convenient to charge our non-Tesla electric vehicle. And, the outdoor shower had hot water. The owners were extremely friendly and quick to answer any questions. We even had a special request at the end of our stay that they were very receptive to. Thank you for such a great experience!

The house was very clean & had everything we needed. Great location. The only suggestion I would make is to try to put more sound proofing between the units. At times, we could hear every word that was said in the next unit. Thank you!

Beautifully updated home in a great location! Could see the ocean from the front deck and beach access is right in front of the property. Very comfortable and clean home that is wonderfully updated with all the amenities. We brought our small dog and there were great grass areas for her and a quiet little street for walks! Overall perfect set up for us!

We had a wonderful week at this house. It was really a relaxing place to stay. We loved the proximity to the beach and everything else Emerald Isle has to offer. Super clean house with a nice kitchen and great view from the front deck. We would recommend it to friends and family and would definitely come back again in the future.

We met the owner shortly after arrival. He went above and beyond supplying the basic supplies which was much appreciated. Location was amazing! We really enjoyed our morning coffee view and hanging out on the front porch!

This property is such a great rental! I’ve stayed at various rentals on the beaches of NC and this one was by far the cleanest. The owners were amazing at communicating in a timely manner and were super friendly. The beach access is so close and you can still see the ocean from the cottage. Everything worked perfectly during our vacation and we couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. Our neighbors were very nice and hopefully our four and six year olds didn’t create too much noise for them!

The Moore’s really seemed to have thought of everything. The place was clean, very close to the beach, and had everything in the kitchen that we could need. Communication with the host was top notch and immediate. We had an internet outage (an issue with the provider, not the house), and James sent his father over to deal with the company to get it straight. The father was extremely nice but also made sure to give us plenty of space. He made sure the internet provider got the issue resolved ASAP. We had 2 adults and 3 kids on one side, and my parents on the other. Being able to open (and close) the doors between the units was definitely nice. We also really liked that the location is at a dead end, so only golf carts, bicycles, and walkers/joggers could pass through. We will absolutely be back. Highly recommend this location.

My wife and I stayed here with our 2-year old and my father in law in mid April. We loved this unit for how easy it is to get out to the beach and the view from the front porch. This is the best view I have seen for a 2nd row house so far. The space was clean and comfortable with brand new appliances. The neighborhood was very quiet and the beach gear available was a plus as well. We have stayed at many places around Topsail and would definitely return!

My wife and I met my sisters for a get together. Travelled from Newport News, Pittsburgh, and Northern Va, had a great time. Beautiful place, well taken care of, well equipped with amenities and convenient to anything we wanted to do. Easy walk to clean, open, beautiful beach. A definite go to rental!!

Surf Sounds is located across the road from the beach with great views of the ocean from the front deck. The road “dead ends” at the property so there is no car traffic in front of the home. Completely updated inside. Beautiful! We look forward to visiting again soon!
