Clean and Comfortable. Convenient Location. Secure site.
Very close to main road so quite a lot of traffic noise but absolutely fine for one night.
4.2
good value for money and more space than available in a family hotel room. centrally located for visiting Chichester Goodwood and nearby coastline. Book ahead for Sunday lunch at the Crate and Apple a short drive away in Chichester
4.2
Nice place to stay, everything needed was there. Lovely view, lake is beautiful.
It was really really hot. The fans couldn’t handle it.
No extra trash bags.
4.2
Very clean inside and nice breakfast bar and kitchen to sit at and use. Nice to have the two showrooms as well. Good view of the lake.
Could have had a bigger sign for the entrance as drove past it to start. The cemex plant was a little noisy and an eye sore but not a lot they could do about that.
4.2
So clean, a lovely lodge… perfect size
4.2
spacious and clean
the back bedroom external shutters do not close so it is very bright in the morning as the curtains let lots of light in. in the bunk bed room you can close the external shutters so the room is nice and dark
4.2
Miminal but comfortable and had everything we needed for our overnight stay.
Could hear everything in the rooms, like when my son got up to make a tea at 5.30am but it's part of the away experience
4.2
The sofas were really dated felt horrible to sit on should invest in some sofas for sure and the bed had loads of hairs on them
4.2
Ideal location for what we needed - clean, warm, functional and comfortable
Naff TV with no freeview option and a lot of faffing if you wanted to get something working online or cast from a device - plastic wine glasses 😶 - scant cooking/cutlery

good solid spotlessly clean comfortable and nice view
all felt very new and a bit basic : but actually everything worked well enough and we had a good time. nice lake view but limited access to lakeside itself. a good walk from centre but walkable.
4.2
size
poor kitchen facilities and lack of utensils, didn’t provide a corkscrew! uncomfortable bed
4.2
Beautiful location by the lake, shame about the road but couldn’t hear it inside the property. Lovely layout and easy access.
Could do with a larger bin in the kitchen.
4.2
location
misleading bed advertising
4.2
nice view of lake, but you cannot access the lake or even walk around it so it’s very misleading when you book.
very rude owners, lack of customer care, poor security so you can access the other lodges by changing one digit on the keysafe, poorly signed so we stayed in wrong lodge which was half the size and only one bathroom, the staff who run it are rude and unhelpful, rather then offering dispute resolution and amicably resolving the issue in a friendly manner. the motorway runs behind the lodge making it very noisy. kids can’t even play ball games on the lawn so no outside space can be used by families.
4.2
brilliant facilities, friendly staff

The view was amazing, the lodge had everything we needed was quiet peaceful and close to everything we needed without having a car, Connor the gentleman who welcomed us ect was Brilliant so helpful
Bed was abit small but very comfortable
4.2
good location with safe secure parking
it was a shame there were no catering options, breakfast would have been great.
quite noisy due to proximity to the road

Rooms were good size and spacious living area
Clean
Good communication the owners
lovely view
only negative was that the showers are very small!
4.2
The owner was very kind and responded to all my questions promptly. A little tricky finding the main entrance but we got there in the end. Could have been because we arrived later in the evening. Very clean and comfortable.
4.2
The view was beautiful. The chairs and table outside were fab

The location is lakeside but it’s sits between the A27 dual carriageway and a busy road carrying cement mixers to the factory next door to the ‘lodges’. From 6am the traffic noise is overwhelming - the implied peaceful retreat of the name is completely the opposite. Being
so close to the retail park and the multiple roundabouts made it easy to get away. We left early in desperation.
The space is very small particularly in the shower rooms where it was impossible to avoid being burned on the radiator when accessing either the toilet or the shower cubicle. The cubicle itself was small but would be less awful if the mould and scale deposits were cleaned. The extraction systems in both showrooms were so furred with dust and debris up there was a potential health hazard. The pricing of the unit was expensive - that would have been acceptable if it had been as described but there was so many failures to provide commensurate furnishing eg no reading lamps in living room and poor quality roller blinds which were damaged and didn’t work, poor quality bed linen and duvets.
Fortunately we are not large people but for anyone suffering from even mild claustrophobia or anyone of a larger build the access corridor to the bedrooms would prove challenging.

The wiev is perfect
