Superb

Our accommodation was perfect for our needs. The location was ideal and the room and facilities were great. The host was pleasant and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Decent and well hosted place with free off road parking.

Great host and place is thoroughly cleaned and bedroom space well utilised. Good range of continental breakfast including herbal teas and non diary milk alternatives.

Could do with a mattress topper or new mattress as l felt the springs came through.

Very happy with location and facilities provided within the home, felt warmly welcomed by Stephen.

I appreciated the abundance of choice for self-serve breakfast. I was grateful for extra touches, such as boxes of tissues and plenty of toiletries in the bathroom.

I was disturbed during the night by what sounded like a washing-machine.

Home from home

This was a lovely, homely place to stay. The bed was super comfy with a full view of the garden. The hospitality tray was generous and bottled water was provided too. The bathroom wasn't en suite but was fully stocked with everything you could want. There was a fully equipped kitchen if you wanted to order a takeaway and a continental-style breakfast was provided. It was so quiet it felt like I had the place to myself.

Very clean, pretty accommodation

The house is on a very busy narrow road with free parking only for residents who have bought permission, in narrow spaces, not off-road. Guests have to phone a number that is provided on an info card in the room, presumably to confirm they are his guests. We arrived in the dark and failed to see the warning notice on the parking space. The owner chatted to us at length both when we arrived and when we were leaving and yet he did not think to remind us to phone the number. we paid a £35 fine as a result. Not a happy memory.

Quiet location, nice hosts, comfortable room, free parking, kitchen area. Nice breakfast selection. Decent shower.

The bathroom is excellent but access to another toilet could be helpful while other guests are showering.

Really nice stay

I was met by Steve, a very welcoming gentleman. He showed me around and explained about the breakfast room and how the shower worked etc. It was a bit cold in the night but extra blankets were available in the room. Great stay a fabulous welcome

We really enjoyed our short stay at this lovely B&B. The double room was clean and comfortable in close proximity to the bathroom. The breakfast room was just next door, where you help yourself to whatever you fancy from a great selection of breakfast food. There is so much attention to detail to make your stay pleasant. The host was extremely accommodating to our needs (we could keep our bicycles in the garage) and very welcoming and friendly. Great location too, with easy access to the town centre and the waterside.

A lovely place to stay!!

A lovely clean and comfortable room in a well situated house near Chichester. Stephen and Barbara were very warm and welcoming and I enjoyed talking to them. Everything that I needed for breakfast was there and the shower was lovely and hot. I highly recommend staying here to anyone that might be interested!!

Helpful host - friendly and offering useful information. Room decent. Bath robes, extra pillows a nice touch. Parking sorted for me. Nice walk into the city along the canal. Property is easy to find and easily accessible from Chichester bypass.

Sharing a bathroom, though didn't have to queue or anything. Usually prefer cooked breakfast, rather than self-service breakfast as here, though I can see why it would make sense Covid-wise and it's quite nice having access to a kitchenette during a stay. Property is on a fairly busy road, though the traffic didn't disturb me.

Good for a few days on business.

Warm welcome and introduction to facilities and generous help yourself breakfast. Great attention to detail to introduce things to do nearby. Parking bays on the main road are generous, but heavily congested with traffic at peak hours. No trouble with traffic noise though. 15 minute wall to plenty of places to eat in Chichester. 3 min drive to CHK pizza restaurant. 1 min walk to local supermarket.

Room didn't need the two lounge chairs - made the space a bit cramped.

I throughly enjoyed my stay (sharing the bathroom was unnoticeable)

Thé choice of food & drinks for breakfast were exceptional !! There was everything anyone would enjoy for a buffet breakfast and more. Use of the kitchen facilities were the TOPS too.

The feeling of ‘Home from home’ - Highly recommendable with the owners very obliging and attentive to all my needs.

Great location, lovely choices with the continental breakfast and tea selection 😊. Stephen was away so I didn't get the chance to meet him, but Barbara is a lovely host, and is ready to cater to your needs. The shower was lovely, and the bathroom was clean. As was the bedroom. Would love to return if the chance arises.

There was a very minor dust build up in the drawers and on the bedroom sides, but that can easily build up even after cleaning, and shouldn't reflect on the business. Stuff like this doesn't bother me personally, but I'm sure if I had asked, it would have been sorted quickly.

The place is very homely.. comfortable & the lady who hosting she is amazing lady & very helpful. Breakfast was excellent . Like to go there again.
