About this apartment rental

The largest of all the apartments bears our name and is worth all the herons, egrets and storks.
Apartment with two rooms, two independent terraces and South-West-North orientation. 5 adults can occupy it comfortably.

All the apartments are equipped with a full kitchen, shower, towel warmer, television, air conditioning, heating, kitchenware, terrace for private use...
LAS GARZAS DE OYAMBRE are 4 charming rural flats, called Águila Pescadora (I), Martín Pescador (2), Ánade Real (3) and Garza Real (4), with capacity for 4, 4, 3 and 5 people, respectively, opened in August 2020.

They are located in the Oyambre Natural Park, in a rustic and remote area, opposite the mouth of the Gandarilla River, in the Pombo marsh, where you can enjoy the peace and nature in a protected environment, away from the hustle and bustle of the population centres, but barely five minutes by car from San Vicente de La Barquera.

The Apartments Las Garzas de Oyambre are equipped with a terrace for private use and separate access, sharing only the entrance path that crosses an extensive garden that forms the common area.

The Natural Park of Oyambre stands out for its great natural variety and landscape, where different ecosystems typical of the Cantabrian coast are represented, steep cliffs, extensive meadows, marshes, beaches and forests. The marshes serve as a resting place for a wide variety of birds throughout the year, fluctuating with the migrations. The dunes that embrace its beaches provide shelter for reptiles and insects, as well as a large number of plant species typical of these ecosystems
Within the park there are groups of beaches and dunes, with Merón being one of the most important and appreciated by surfers, in San Vicente de La Barquera to the west, and Oyambre, further to the east, which reaches the La Rabia estuary, next to the exceptional town of Comillas
The proximity of the Picos de Europa, of places like Santillana del Mar and the Altamira Caves, the rivers Saja and Nansa with their different itineraries, the Soplao Cave, the Principality of Asturias, together with the existence of a multitude of companies and services specialised in adventure, nature and cultural tourism, offer the visitor an infinite number of possibilities
