Paradise!
We LOVED our stay at Guardalavaca on N. Captiva Island. The location was fabulous--the kids fished from the shore a few feet outside the front door. We were half-way between the two restaurants on the island, and very close to the pool as well. The house itself had everything we needed--plenty of towels and linens and cooking utensils. The property manager was very informative and helpful, and the owner of the property as well! Between the two of them I had more than enough information to and support, as this vacation required a bit more coordination than usual (grocery delivery, boat taxi, etc). My family of teenagers and pre-teens were so happy and I felt very safe with them on the island. We will be back!!

Great Stay
We had a wonderful time on the island, peace and quiet is what was needed. A few early hiccups were cleared right up , owner and management both there to make a wrong right quickly!! We will be back again one day, hopefully sooner than later!!

Fully equipped home in paradise!
We had an amazing time at this property, our party included 4 adults and one 4 year old and we had plenty of space and activities thanks to the thoughtful setup of the property. The kitchen had everything we needed, we enjoyed the grill, board games, and there were plenty of towels in the bathrooms. The property included kayaks, life jackets (1 in kids size, amazing!), adult bikes, plenty of beach chairs, beach towels, and the golf cart. We took a bike for our child with us, but otherwise we had everything we needed at the property. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect getaway
Excellent property. Communication with the owner was quick and responsive before and during our stay; any question was quickly answered. Reverse osmosis water for drinking was delicious and so welcomed - really saved a lot of time/effort/money to not need bottled water. Kitchen is very well equipped, owner even got a crockpot before our arrival after I asked if there was one to use. Golf cart worked great - battery never died so we didn’t have to push it home though we saw many people on the island doing just that. Beaches are beautiful and it’s easy to feel as if you are in a deserted paradise. The pool area for safety harbor looked nice, but the beaches were so wonderful we never went to the pool. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Spring Break Get Away
Our family of 5 enjoyed every moment of our stay here! The house was very clean and spacious, with adequate kitchen wares. The kayaks were a great addition to view the manatees and dolphins in the sound. The short trip to the gulf beaches was not a bother with the addition of the golf cart. Would highly recommend this property!

Beautiful view!
Our rental was at the end of the road so there was no traffic in the road in front just a beautiful view where we were able to watch a manatee from the screened in deck. The furniture and decor was very nice. I would highly recommend this rental and if I’m fortunate enough to go back I’d rent it again!!
