This is a 100+ year old home in excellent condition. So much original woodwork and charm, as well as space! We would definitely come back!

Me and some friends stayed at this house for a weekend in Milwaukee. Good location and did the job for giving us a spacious enough place to sleep.

Great location! Walkable to lots of great places. We have done an Easter getaway with friends for the past couple years and we decided to check out Milwaukee. The weather didn’t cooperate but we still had a great time. Great dinner at The Knick, saw a great band at Shank Hall. All easily walkable from the house. Went to the Harley Museum and then explored the 3rd ward the next day. That night went to Brady Street which is also easy to walk to from the house. Tons of bars and restaurants. Grocery store a block away. Cooked Easter brunch at the house. We had plenty of room for 9 adults. Would definitely stay again in the summer - much more to explore!

Old house. Doors and locks didn’t all function properly. But close to where we wanted to be. Had plenty of bed space. And a bar and a grocery store a block away.

We selected this VRBO because of the way it accommodated our bachelor party (enough beds for 7 guys). The property offered great parking, communal space, and great location. Overall aesthetic is a bit dated, but nothing of any concern. Would stay again.

Walkable/short drive to all you need, park across the street for early morning and late evening dog walks. Host was very hospitable and prompt to respond to any messages sent. Even invited us to check-in early since the home was available.

Great location and nice house for a quick weekend trip

The house was perfect for a weekend in Milwaukee with some old college buddies and I. Of the ten of us, four people shared beds and one had to sleep on the couch (leaving 5 other single beds). We don't need much, and this was not a fancy place to stay, so it was a good match. We loved having the outdoor space to eat dinner at the big table. There is a gas grill provided, but it is in pretty rough shape, so we did end up cooking our meat on the stovetop.
The location is spectacular. One grocery store is walkable, another is a very short drive, and we were able to walk to the river from the house. I'd stay here again!

Average
This stay was just about average. It was clean until you saw all the dust and dirt underneath the beds. Very old house, holes in the walls filled with random things which is fine, but certain doors don't open and the front door didn't seem to lock too securely. The neighborhood wasn't great as I was kept awake after midnight by a man walking around outside yelling death threats over and over again. Which was terrifying. Along with that, there were noises out front and heard the door handle being messed with in the middle of the night. Our group stayed two nights but we felt extremely unsafe after the first night's surrounding noises. Maybe we just caught it on a bad night, but our host did not accept our request for a refund so that we could go to a hotel for a second night to feel safer. When we told him that we do not feel safe and asked for a refund, he sent back a denial message that was obviously copied and pasted from a help site because he didn't even fill in the blank of his property name and location. When we clarified that he was saying to stay in a space that was unsafe, he did not respond. That was very disappointing. Furniture and check in process was good, but all else needs work - especially the customer service.

Tom was a very responsive and amenable host. The house itself was very clean and spacious, as well as being located within walking distance of many great restaurants and bars.

Summer weekend
Overall it was decent space! The location was great. Walking distance to everything you’d need and cross from a little park with lots of greenery. We were able to get into the house a little earlier too which was a huge bonus!
