We stayed for two weeks in late July/August. We had 4 kids (all under 8) and 5 adults. The house is a gem and Cindy is an amazing property manager. Always available, but the house was so well stocked that we didn’t need to contact her.
The house is so close to downtown - 5 minute walk, and easy in and out if you need to head out of town. Also the parking is game changing in Annapolis.
The house is very nice, beautiful wood floors, very nicely finished and ready whether entertaining, heading into town, or stuck inside because of rain.
Everyone had a great time.
We will go back!

Beautifully maintained historic home. Like staying in a Williamsburg museum. Everything you could possibly need provided.

We stayed here from 9/21-9/24 and every aspect of our stay was perfect. We rented the home for our wedding weekend, which had a handful of events that were held at the house. We were able to host our whole family overnight - the home is well stocked and extremely spacious. We had a Vietnamese wedding ceremony and held our rehearsal dinner in the yard.
The location is central to all things in Downtown Annapolis.
Finally, Cindy was a perfect host. She was extremely flexible and responsive when we had questions. I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone considering it!

Cindy hosted my group of 6 groomsmen and their spouses for my Academy Chapel Wedding. This home was perfect in every single way. Cindy was the nicest and most responsive host, she was prompt and helpful with all of our questions. The home was very spacious, especially for Annapolis, and very comfortably hosted 12 with privacy. The library, living and dining rooms were spectacular. We were able to fit several cars in the driveway alleviating a lot of parking headaches for several couples in DTA. Finally, the location was truly unbeatable. We were a half block from the front door to Gate 3, and from Gate 3 a block to the chapel. We walked everywhere with ease for the wedding, even in the late July heat in uniform. We would 10/10 book here again if available for a group event in Annapolis, especially for preparing for a Chapel wedding. Thank you Cindy, your home was truly amazing.

Just as I imagined based upon the description and my communication with the lovely host. The house is spectacular. It’s location is wonderful for any event in Annapolis. Enjoy the spacious bedroom and living rooms. The gardens are gorgeous. Make sure you spend time in the hammock and eat outside on the back porch.

Our group loved everything about this home and it accommodated us very well. We loved all of the spaces - indoor and outdoor- to hang out. The location was awesome- We walked to everything!
The host was great to work with and the home had all of the basics. All of the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable!
Would definitely stay here again.

We were in town for a family wedding and the house was amazing and better than promised. Even with a city-wide power outage everything went very smoothly. All of the bedrooms were spacious and the main floor and courtyard were perfect gathering spaces in-between wedding events. Location is within walking distance to almost anything you would need and the ample parking at the house is a bonus given the tight parking in the area.

I would rate this house higher than a 5 if possible. The house is in an ideal location close the the USNA right in downtown Annapolis. You have a great view of the chapel from the back courtyard. It is stocked with everything you need for a large gathering. The house is very historic and well decorated so you feel like have stepped back in time..

There were 12 of us staying at this house for a baptism. This is a stunningly beautiful home! Comfortable, immaculate and in a great location to go to the Navy chapel. If we come back to Annapolis, we will stay here!

This home was absolutely beautiful! More so than the pictures show. We had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms with our large group plus several congregating areas inside and outside. Also had off street parking that would fit 4 cars. House was well stocked and very, very clean. It’s also only a couple blocks to downtown Annapolis and steps to the Naval Academy. We could walk everywhere very easily and short distance. The lady that owns/manages the home was also amazing and had great communication. We loved staying here and will be using this home as our preferred place everytime we stay in Annapolis now. Thank you for sharing your amazing place with us!

Great place to stay and gather
We recently came to town to have a military funeral at Annapolis for my brother. This was a perfect place to have family and friends gather together and for us as a family to stay close enough to the academy to be able to walk to all of the services.
The Host was very responsive before our arrival and was extremely helpful.
Would recommend this property to anyone who is staying in Annapolis and wants to have enough space for the entire family while being close to the academy as well as downtown.

Best house in Annapolis!
We rented this house for my sons wedding. It is an amazing house. Close enough to walk to everything. Far enough away from city dock so it’s not crowded. Sun room was a great place to have your morning coffee and people watch. Beds were extremely comfortable. Bathrooms were not only clean but gorgeous. Kitchen was big enough for me to cook dinner with six other people in the room. Lots of places to gather to be together. Way more than enough room to get away from others. The back patio was amazing. Lots of shade from a big old magnolia tree. Big bonus is the parking. I would 100% stay in this beautiful house again!

From the moment we walked in till the time we had to leave felt better then home. We are empty nesters with three grown children who have not been able to coordinate a family gathering that included everyone, until this trip. Thoughtful, responsive, caring are only a few words that describe our host. Cindy’s attention to detail enabled ourselves to start making memories from the start. Cindy is a truly gracious host.
The exterior garden areas and the attention to historical details of the interior are impressive. I didn’t want to leave. A truly memorable stay.

Historical charm, modern amenities, perfect location.
We stayed at this gorgeous home for a weekend while we were attending a wedding in downtown Annapolis. The house was full, 10 people including two young children, yet we had plenty of space, slept comfortably in all the beds, and enjoyed the beautifully appointed decor. The location can’t be beat, walking distance to the marina, but still far enough away that we felt cozy and peaceful. The house itself is a beautiful historic representation of Annapolis. However, it provides all of the modern amenities that one would need for a vacation, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, very comfortable beds, great water pressure, plenty of socializing space. Cindy was extremely friendly and accommodating. My family and I would absolutely return to this rental, worth every penny!

WOW- WHAT A PROPERTY!!!
This is an incredible house/property in an excellent location just a block away from Gate 3- USNA. While King George street is a busy thoroughfare you rarely- if ever- can hear the street noise. What makes it better is the massive amount of parking- watching all the cars going by knowing they will be hunting for a space while you yours already secured. My wife and I, plus our 13 yr old daughter, my mom and dad, my niece and her husband, and then my daughter at the USNA all had plenty of space to stay. It was nice that the master suite just up the stairs from the kitchen served as a private area for my mom and dad- and they could not hear the laundry machines in the middle of the night when our midshipman was doing her laundry! The downstairs areas are spacious and just a visual treat. The dining room held all of us with space to spare, allowing for us to enjoy many meals together in this beautifully decorated area. The kitchen was perfect for all meals- well stocked and layout out. Nice to have an extra fridge/freezer for additional storage. Outside there are several great spaces to sit- either to watch traffic flow by out front or a quieter back area to cook out and eat- lovely. You have a great view of the chapel with the bells tolling the hours, and downtown Annapolis (DTA in midshipman lingo) with all the shops and restaurants is a few pleasant blocks away- so nice to not have to worry about parking!
This house is a treat and an experience- a luxury rental well worth what we paid. We were so very very happy with the entire stay- from check-in to check out. We all cannot recommend it enough- you will not be disappointed!

Perfect home getaway
10 of us stayed in this amazing historic home for a bachelorette getaway and it couldn’t have been better! The owner, Cindy made sure to leave detailed instructions for staying there (nothing over the top) and also made herself available via the app for when we had a question about the very top floor thermostat. It’s a perfect place for exploring downtown, so close to everything we were able to walk to restaurants and bars!! We especially loved all the outdoor seating around the property to be able to drink our coffee in the morning, and eat breakfast outside and her gardens were so beautiful! 6 vehicles were able to fit in the driveway so that was also a big bonus since we had so many women who weren’t able to carpool. The decor and overall feeling of the home was a relaxed, homey, Bridgerton vibe and it was truly just what we wanted/needed. If I have a large group again I will be seeing if this place is available 🥰 can’t say enough wonderful things!!

Outstanding Premier Property in Annapolis!
As stated in our title....This historic home is simply outstanding. The home was re-done and decorated beautifully and is an impressive illustration of the stately charm and tasteful class that they should be in Annapolis. To say it was immaculate would be an understatement. Every detail was spotless.
The home has everything needed as stated in the listing and plenty of sleeping quarters and beds for the family. We simply brought our Easter meal and cooked and entertained as if it were our own home. There was nothing further needed whatsoever....and having parking off street in Annapolis is key!
The home sits literally outside Gate 3 of the academy and was easy for our midshipman son's friends to visit for Easter dessert. ...... This is a perfect location for any academy functions in this regard......and also two blocks from the capitol circle and downtown.
Dealing with Cindy was also fantastic! .... Comm's were responsive and prompt and she is very accommodating, and concerned your stay is commensurate with expectations. We couldn't be more pleased with our experience. We absolutely fell in love with the home and look forward to our next family stay here whether it be an academy function or sailing related!

Beautiful home. well appointed. Fantastic location.
8 adults - plenty of space. Had a casual gathering before a memorial service- the space was perfect! The house got so many compliments. All were comfortable- only wish the weather hadn’t been so rainy so we could enjoy the gardens more.

Superb Reunion Weekend at Large Historic Home
Immaculate Historic Home! Two families stayed at this lovely home for a USNA reunion and had plenty of room. Hands down we would stay here again! Highly recommended! My family has two teenagers and a 6mo old. My wife and I stayed in the private suite above the kitchen with the baby. It was very private with a small adjoining den room and separated
enough from the rest of the living areas that the baby didn't wake up the rest of the house throughout the night. We had a full bath with tub/shower, private toilet room, and laundry room with an iron right outside the suite. The only minor inconvenience was the private stairs in the bedroom connect to the kitchen without the ability to close them off for sound control. But this was a very minor inconvenience that was easily manageable. Our teenagers stayed on the 3rd floor in a room with a connecting full bath, while the second bedroom on the third floor was never used. The other family of four shared the two large adjoining bedrooms on the second floor and had their own full connecting bath. Both families and a few occasional visitors very comfortably gathered in the two large connected living areas on the first floor. One guest even entertained by playing the piano. The house is in a perfect location for visiting downtown Annapolis, USNA, or St John's all in immediate walking proximity. Located only a few hundred feet outside of Gate 3, our guests with CAC Cards had immediate access to the Yard thru this gate. All normal visitors have a short walk to Gate 1 to access USNA. A few hundred feet in the opposite direction was a beer and wine store that was very convenient and just past it was a handful of antique shops and our favorite Irish Pub - Galway Bay. Our family home was built in 1875, so we have a great appreciation for old homes. This house features superb millwork with the finest attention to detail and is meticulously maintained. It was an exceptional treat to stay here! Highly recommended!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are sad to leave. The location was perfect - a 5min walk to the heart of Annapolis and it’s shops and restaurants, just steps from the Naval Academy where our teens were in camp, and well situated to go on longer walks. We felt perfectly safe. The house was large and well decorated in classic historic colonial style. The office/den worked well for remote work. The house was very clean. Cindy was very responsive (she lives in the basement, didn’t know that at first, but it was very separate/private). We will be back.

Family reunion to welcome new baby!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the James Andrews House. Cindy, the property manager is very accommodating and friendly. The house is meticulously cared for including the outside gardens and koi pond. No attention to detail was spared and we felt like we were in our own home, not a rental. Everything we needed to host our family was supplied. The linens and bedding were high quality and very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. We even grilled on the back patio one night. There was plenty of parking on the the property inside of the gate. The house is a 5-10 minute walk to the Naval Academy and Main Street (shopping and food). The children in our group loved exploring the massive house, toys and books. We were able to comfortably fit our family of 12 at the dinning room table for meals and we even found the hidden fox! Thank you again Cindy!!
