Our seven day stay at your facility was bitter sweet. Although the time with my family was priceless and the property and it’s outside features ( Mountain View’s) were memorable, there were a few issues in and out of the home that could not be ignored. Here are a few of the highlighted issues.
1. There was a water pressure issue that caused us to be without water. This was reported three days prior to the end of our stay and did not get resolved. This issue was extensive in which it affected toilet flushing, showering, sink usage and any consideration of laundry in the washing machine.
2. Hot water shortage
3. Trash in the garage on arrival.
4. Trash in bear box on arrival
5. Mice droppings in utensils drawers
6. Washing machine would not complete cycle leaving clothes soaked in bottom of washer.
7. Insufficient amount of washcloths for a larger family.
8. Sliding screen door leading onto back deck is broken and could not be used.
9. Dirty carpet with stains and an awkward smell.
These issues took away the focus from the beauty of the property and made it frustrating at times due to the inconvenience that it caused.

House was very big and had plenty of rooms/space. Also it was very private and secluded. My family all met there for a Little reunion and even though the house had no central AC, the units in each house were enough.

This very nice home served our family well. There is plenty of space, five bathrooms, large kitchen.
One drawback is that it is about eight miles from anywhere. We were here in summer, so four-wheel drive was not necessary, but in winter it would be.
Minor work is needed, but we would readily give it a "4". at least.

My husband and I had a lovely week. The condo was beautiful inside and the setting is spectacular.
It is located in a quiet part of town on the ocean with easy access to restaurants and shops by bicycle. Golf cart or walking if you like to take long walks.

I rented this house for my mothers funeral so that I could have friends and close relatives congregate. The house is really big and saying he is served our purposes. Just a word of warning it is out. There was a warranting You need a 4 Wheel Dr. and probably true if poor weather, but well worth the trip.

This house was truly amazing! From the mountain views to the large kitchen. This house was perfect for our group and then some. Only notes was the main living space was hot when we first got there (only AC’s in a few of the bedrooms) and ideally more outside seating is needed (specifically by the fire pit) but all in all we had a wonderful stay in such a clean, spacious, private home. We already want to book again!

Secluded location in the mountains. Nice stay for families - we went with a group of 4 families - only negative - no central AC which typically wouldn't be a problem but during a heat wave it was a little warm, however, at night nice breeze with windows open - all the bedrooms did have a wall AC unit which was great

Let me start by saying the description of this property is spot on. The pictures are not glorified in any way. We had 4 couples in our group and this property gave us all the room and space we needed. The kitchen, dining and living rooms were all very spacious. It even had an office area that was wonderful for my future son in law to do some work. The back deck was wonderful and provided a wonderful view of the sunset over the Mountain. My husband and I slept in the biggest bedroom with the on suite and the bed was extremely comfortable!! I melted right into it. The other 3 couples said the same thing. Our only complaint was no AC in the living area and when the windows were opened the mosquitos were coming in through the cracks and holes in the screens. I would also suggest a bigger toaster. There was a two slice toaster but with larger groups who would rent this home a big toaster may be handy. Overall this home was perfect for our group and we would definitely come back. You are about 15 to 20 minutes away from Conway which had everything you may need. As stated in the description, if you were to rent this property in the fall and winter months you most definitely will need a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Love love love this property!!

This house was huge and better than expected! Fully stocked (except for a dustpan and cookie sheet) with everything we needed from cleaning and laundry supplies to shampoo and conditioner. The only caveat is that it was difficult to find- the address does not show up on google maps and the directions sent were confusing (unnecessarily so). Just need to note that Rock House Mountain Road is a DIRT and unmarked extension of Ridge Road... Otherwise, perfect! Would definitely stay there again!

Mountain getaway
Planned this trip so that we could get all of the grown children and their partners under one roof for much needed quality time! Loved how spacious the house was and that there were a variety of room styles to choose from amongst the 7 of us. Ski season just ended and most of the parks were still closed so not much to do in town but this also meant that we were mostly isolated in the area with it being off season. A plus for us. The town center was a short 20 minute drive from the house and we enjoyed visiting the outlets, small shops and railroad museum! Much of the trip was spent on the property however since the large open space allowed for many activities in, as well as room for private downtime when needed. Only thing the kids complained about was how they wished each bedroom had their own tv and wifi was spotty having to be reset a few times. But otherwise we had a great stay with this host and will definitely be back!

Amaing home! Likes and wishes
My 5 sisters and our husbands enjoyed a family Thanksgiving and then a Sisters' Weekend.
Likes: large spacious house
-amazing views and walking/hiking opportunities
-love the kitchen
-warm and cozy
-North Conway 20 minutes away
-light snow fell one night and it was wondrous!
Wishes:
-kitchen lacked some cooking/baking basic tools (colander, coffee mugs, mixer, etc. If you are planning a "foodie" stay, be sure to bring your own cooking tools and utensils. If you are doing lots of takeout - no worries.
-information on the operation of the home (we rent homes 2 to3 times/year and have for 20+ years). It's helpful if there were instructions on the operation of the appliances, TV and HVAC, the location of the light switches, etc.
- wish there were more seating space for the kitchen. The living room was fine, just not enough chairs for a larger group as ours was--we managed with a little creativity!
- wish the mice would have found their own place--however, being located in a mountaintop location, we weren't surprised and it was not overrun by mice--we just noticed one had gotten into a drawer and another came from under the trash compactor. If you live in the country as we do, we are used to it.
We would definitely stay there again and look forward to another adventure there.

This house has many pros and a few cons. Overall I would recommend it.
Pros:
-Super clean
-Comfortable beds/options for pillows
-Secluded, quiet, with a lovely backyard and view
-Spacious inside, with plenty of seating and bedrooms/bathrooms
-Many new appliances; kitchen outfitted with most pans/dishes/etc. that you will need to cook meals at home.
-Plenty of space for kids to play outside, explore, etc.
-Hot water stays hot with back to back showers/washing dishes
-Televisions outfitted with plenty of streaming options (no cable)
-Some classic games provided for family activities
-Many, many trails nearby. You really don't have to go far if you want a relaxing, nature-filled vacation.
Cons:
-No central air conditioning but we didn't really need it in September. Most bedrooms have their own A/C unit or a fan and it was comfortable. Summer might be different.
-Bees living near/around the upper deck; we couldn't use it at all.
-Very secluded-- bring everything you need with you. If you forget something, it's at least 20 minutes into town.
-As expected, poor cell service; wifi is weak. Don't expect to do any work or video calls. (Might be a pro for some people!)
-Cars would pull into the driveway at all hours of the day and night. My guess is that people were using the vacant house as a parking lot for the nearby trails. It can be scary when you're so far away from civilization and a random car drives up to your house without announcement, especially when you have no deadbolts available on the doors. This is probably my biggest gripe with the place because it happened so often (at least once a day) but everyone left when they saw the house was occupied.

Large, secluded, and comfortable house on the top of the mountain but with limited sitting space for social gathering. The large living room can accommodate only 8 people, additional couch would be a good idea there, especially there is a lot of free space.
You can use fire pit in the evening just bring your chairs.
We enjoyed our stay very much.

Beautiful location
Location and sunsets were beautiful. The house has a great layout and was clean although some carpets are showing effects of furry visitors. Lack of ANY outside chairs was our only real disappointment, especially considering the home has a great porch, 2 decks and a fire pit.

Great house
Little out of the way. Great layout. Easily slept 11 of us. Beds were extremely comfortable.
Wifi was a little spotty. No cable so it helps if you can sign on to another service if you wish to watch TV. Big television in master BR but you'll need to bring your own Roku or similar.

Great home for large groups!!
The home was huge, clean secluded and not too far from the Conway area attractions. We had 3 families with a bunch of kids and we had a blast! The kitchen and dining area are huge and perfect for large groups. The hosts had the kitchen well stocked. Will return in the future!

We had a group of 12 couples travel up last weekend for our annual hike up Tuckerman's. Kitchen was huge, much time was spent there (seemed to have radiant floor heating so we were quite warm). There was bedding, and separate bedrooms for everyone for privacy. House is very comfortable. One from group, was able to slide from house down to a field a few times...we should have done this at night with our headlamps!! I would most definitely stay here again. One thing to note, for directions - I would say from Eaton Village Store, take next right on to Ridge Road. From Ridge Road, continue straight and ignore Dead End sign. (The house is actually the dead end at the top of Rock House Mountain Road).
