The free use of kayaks, row boat, and canoes was nice. We enjoyed a trip rowing along the banks of the lake

Was able to accommodate a family of 5 and sleep comfortably. Bunk beds and 2 large beds. Originally booked for 1 night then decided to stay another night. They were easy to schedule another day and allowed us to stay in the room that we were currently in. Loved the Complimentary coffee at the main office Old ski resort. Well kept and Quiet. We didn’t come in the winter. We came in the Summer. Loved the area and would come back. So many places to hike in the surrounding areas. Just a short scenic drive away So many places to stop along rivers to cool off and just relax with a book in the shade. What a peaceful place to visit. Way better than being in the towns

Perfect stay for ski vacation! We stayed during the summer so less to do. However, we REALLY enjoyed our brief stay there, and wish we could have made it longer. Extremely friendly, courteous and helpful staff! The evening restaurant server was so gracious and helpful. She had the kitchen refire their grill to accomodate our late order. We had such a blast playing tennis and pickleball with court lights at nite, we got to restaurant at closing. The server was so nice and sincere.

Additional $25 fee undisclosed beforehand. None of the vending machines worked. Assumed it was a free breakfast as there was buffet style cold pancakes, soggy bacon, almost empty pitchers of juice and some yogurts then the guy walks up and hands me and my partner a bill for $40. Room layout was bizarre as the bathroom door was a foot away from and facing the bed (and no bathroom exhaust fan). I won’t be going back.

Although advertised with a restaurant for evening meals and breakfast on checking in we were told this was not available. Although the room we had was suitable the remoteness of the location combined with the lack of on site facilities meant that we only stayed one night rather than the two we booked. I did email the hotel twice but no response and no answer on the phone

Beautiful area - property is spread out but staff was so kind and helpful!

Beautiful location on a lake that was perfect after hiking in the White Mountains. Truly enjoyed walking in the woods, swimming in the heated pool and meals in the restaurant. Would have done more but weather wasn't good.

We didn’t spend a lot of time exploring the resort and if we did I might rate this higher. We were in the king pines building and it felt like a dorm. That was not the kind of experience we were looking for. The building smells old and musty.

I did not know what I was getting into when I booked the property. I was pleasantly surprised, and incredibly satisfied with our short stay. Making plans to revisit again.

Very overpriced for size, condition of rooms - extremely small and outdated.
Traditions Restaurant was excellent.

Parked right in front of our room, so no long distance hauling of bags. Check in was quick and easy. Room is clean and air conditioner was new and worked great. Didn’t use any facilities, only stayed one night.

Great stay-clerk was very friendly and helpful even though I was late checking in! Thank you!

I enjoyed the property and how the resort was laid out. The lake where the main office is is beautiful and the waterfall is gorgeous. However, we had to listen to a generator all night and there wasn’t anything going on at the resort so we ended up going to North Conway for something to do.

A family friendly environment with fun activities such as unlimited use of kayaks, rowboats, paddle boards and more. The restaurant on site was quite nice better than we expected. Staff is amiable. A vast property of things to see and do along the lake. The cook out was great along with the corn hole competition. Highly recommend!

Outstanding place to land for a few days in summer, I loved kayaking on the lake, relaxing on a lounger and the pool and hot tub. I was there a week before the summer season really started and it was deserted but I can imagine the pool full of kids! The on-site pub is great but if you get tired of it you're only 15-20 min from dining in Conway. Only complaints were that the bed was little harder than I'd have liked (I was cheap, not sure if they have higher priced rooms with a better one) and the breakfast options in the pub were pretty limited and not what I wanted, could have used a basic dish like a stack of pancakes. About 70-90 min from Mt Washington, depending on how you drive.

I wish I could give a negative one star review so other people might take my advice and not go.
But unfortunately it would be a disservice to this wonderful resort.
Where do I start, Jessie at the front desk was delightful, friendly and helpful. What els could you ask for.
Our room was perfect overlooking the lake, clean and oh so comfortable.
The Tavern
Pub was an especially nice find. A very limited menu but everything was spot on.
We tried everything and was never disappointed. Never been a fan of spinach avocado cheese dip but somehow ordered it every time.
Impressed with toiletries and the towels were the best I’ve every used at a so called 3 Star Resort.
Definitely a gem find.

I stayed in early May on a Monday night - the restaurant was closed Mon & Tues (and thus a 15 min drive to food in deer/moose prone woodlands...) and no canoe's could be hired as the water temperature was below the safety insurance level - yet I was still charged the $26 USD Resort Fee ie poor value for money

One of the few remaining truly family oriented getaways. King Pine please don’t change a thing!

The so-called "Resort fee" was a joke. There were no indications of a "resort" and the hot tub was out of order.

Spent the day skiing. Had a lovely room at the Inn and great dinner at the Traditions Restaurant. The spa was very nice.

It’s a good place to stay a like it the only thing was to find a good restaurant you need an hour travel

It was good, but they don’t open the restaurant 2 das in a row, and holes.com doesn’t tell you that. I I knew it since the beginning I wouldn’t stay there. Even so It’s an amazing place
