The Neighborhood:
Just one block from the center of downtown Kanab, you'll be within walking distance of great shops, restaurants and more!
There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. We love some of the local tour companies; they can make your travel time far more productive and enjoyable. Many of them even offer early morning pick-ups from Kanab.
Equestrian and biking trails are also available.
Getting Around:
You can walk to all of Kanab's restaurants and shops directly from our home but you will need a vehicle to explore the parks and other attractions. This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Just minutes away from downtown Kanab, this home makes accessing local restaurants, shops, and grocery stores convenient and easy!
Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places.
Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away.
Other Things to Note:
Again, this property is a pet friendly property and does require a $50 pet fee if you plan on bringing your furry friends. Pet Policy: Pets are NOT allowed to be unattended in the home at any time, please understand and respect our policy.

Great central location for day trips to Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capital Reef, and North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Kanab reminds me of a smaller, quieter version of Sedona, Az.

I would 100% stay here again and recommend to friends & family! We visited Zion, the Grand Canyon North Rim and Bryce Canyon, all of which were less than a 90 minute drive away. The house is stocked with all the amenities you could need (even the grill was easy to use), and the AC worked great to keep us cool. It’s also nicely situated in town with yummy restaurants within walking distance. Checking in and out was seamless.

The Adobe Abode was a perfect size for two people. It was clean and comfortable, with plenty of supplies provided in the kitchen. The location, only a block away from the Rocking V restaurant, couldn't be beat.

We stayed here for a week long hiking vacation in early April. This house was very comfortable and professionally managed. The location was unbeatable with coffee and wonderful restaurants within walking distance. World class hiking was within an hour’s drive. We hiked on the east side of Zion and in Red Canyon. Red Canyon was our favorite. It is like having Bryce to yourself. We hiked the breathtaking slots at Buckskin Gulch. We also checked out some local hikes which were wonderful as well. I would stay at this house if we return to Kanab and highly recommend it to fellow adventurers.

Such an at home feeling; had everything we needed; close to town, but quiet area. Seeing all the stars at night was amazing.

Cute place! EVERYTHING was great. The small touches such as laundry detergent, stain remover, bathroom shampoos/soap, fluffy towels, etc. really were appreciated. Bed was very comfortable AND the brochures were helpful as we checked out some off the beaten track stops which were fantastic. Would absolutely stay again! Oh yes! And the outdoor lounging chairs were great for star-gazing!

A perfect house for me and my friend to stay at, walking distance to everything in town. Comfortable couch and beds, fully stocked kitchen. Having the extra sink in the one bedroom made it convenient as well. A great house for a small group

This property is fantastic. The location is perfect, close to downtown area and within walking distance to stores, bakery, restaurants and more. Drove into Zion National Park almost everyday and it is an easy drive. This house was spotless. We have stayed at many VRBO’s and this was the best equipped house ever. There was not one item that we didn’t find in this house. Highly recommend to anyone!

This house was perfect for two people to stay in very comfortably. It was very clean when we arrived, and they had everything we needed. Walked to dinner and to the grocery store. Beautiful drives to Zion and Bryce and to slot canyons. Good central location. Great communication with our hostess Micah. Thanks!

Wonderful little adobe quaintly decorated in the heart of Kanab. It was the perfect location to travel to nearby national parks and still be able to go out for a nice dinner or get a delicious latte in the mornings before the day’s adventure

My husband, our pups and I had a wonderful stay at this great property. It was located within walking distance of the shops and restaurants in town but was still nice and quiet. It was well stocked with everything we needed. This is an amazing part of the world- stunning beauty and adventure everywhere you go. We definitely plan to return and would love to stay at this home when we do!

This was our first trip to Kabab and we also had our dogs with us. It was nice having the backyard all fenced, although the grass needed a mow but no big deal.
House very charming, old, quaint and well supplied and rustic too. Loved it , if we return next year we will try to book. it again...

Easy check in and out. Very clean and the southwestern style was cozy and got us in the vacation mood. Beds and couches are comfortable. Plenty of table and counter space. The bathroom has a very nice shower and plenty of places to hang towels. Kitchen has every utensil, pot and pan, dishes and appliance that we needed AND they are in good condition. Laundry facilities are nice. When we visit again we will definitely stay here! The management made sure we were comfortable and didn’t need anything. Thank you Zion Stays

Great house. Beds are very comfortable. Love the hardwood floors and other old features throughout the home. Nice fenced in backyard for our 2 dogs to feel safe in. Location is walking distance to nice restaurants and the downtown area. Literally 3 houses from the downtown. Love Kanab's proximaty to all the surrounding sites. Don't miss freshly made bagels and other goodies at Jakey Leigh's Cafe Bakery - and great food & drinks at Wild Thyme Cafe. Hope to be back and stay here again!

Enjoyed the adorable adobe. Great location. .
I would suggest that cleaning items, etc. not be left in the bedroom closets, since there was no room to keep our clothing etc.

Fantastic stay!
We spent our Thanksgiving here while touring the nearby parks and enjoying the local scenery and hikes- it was perfect for our family of three with room to spare. The kitchen had everything we could have possibly needed for an extended stay! The house is beautifully finished and has tons of charm. It is an old house, so it can be pretty chilly, but with the provided space heaters we were cozy. Great location and in walkable distance to everything on the main drag of town.

Lovely little home, just a walk from the Main Street and in the middle of everything Kanab has to offer. Felt safe and was stocked with the basics; incl. that necessary morning coffee and toiletries. Loved the fenced backyard for our small pup. Would definitely stay again when passing through!

Beautiful house in Kanab
This place was perfect for two couples. Each bedroom was equipped with a comfortable king-sized bed so we didn't have to draw straws for the better room. We were a little concerned about just having one bathroom but it worked out fine. The kitchen was well equipped and the living areas were comfortable and charming. We were able to walk to restaurants and a good drugstore. Lovely place to stay and we'd love to return!
