Avventura a Manarola

La signora molto gentile ci ha seguiti molto bene🙏 Alloggio molto grande x un gruppo di amici, putroppo un solo bagno,non c era il kit di cortesia,consiglio specialmente a chi fa trekking che magari non lo porta per problemi di spazio il almeno sapone e bagnoschiuma perché non c'è nulla, frigobar vuoto neanche una bottiglia d'acqua non c'è la macchina del caffè solo un bollitore ma neanche una bustina di tisana quindi nulla, noi siamo arrivati purtroppo i negozi erano già chiusi perché abbiamo fatto il trekking quindi siamo rimasti senza nulla, x per fortuna una signora per strada che ci ha sentiti in difficoltà ci ha fatto andare a casa sua e ci ha regalato una bottiglia di bagnoschiuma è stata veramente gentile.

La posizione non comoda alla stazione,però al mattino dalla finestra una vista incantevole

Great spot looking over the town. Easy to get to from the train station with two lifts and clear instructions from the host. Basic amenities as described. Easy to explore the other towns with this spot as a base. Couch bed was also comfy!

The hosts were very nice, it was very easy to check in the apartment. nothing was missing, the view was like a postcard! . We would definitely love to come back again, thank you

The town was nice. The apartment was Ok but getting there was a nightmare

The apartment was in a nice area.

The telephone number listed was not working. It was nearly impossible to find. It took us two hours. There was no interaction with the owner 😔.

A great place to stay; not the most luxurious, but more than adequate for our needs.

Stayed for 3 nights. Dealing with Liliana was easy - she whatsapp'ed instructions and a photo on where to find the keys. The rooms were large and clean. Both bedrooms had sea views and having a small balcony was wonderful (and there's an outdoor clothes line for drying things). The one minor issue with the hot water was addressed immediately and satisfactorily. There is a kettle for making coffee/tea and a small bar fridge. A word to the wise...and something we hadn't realized - there is an elevator beside the church that takes you from a block up the main street up to The Sea View. You don't have to walk all the stairs with your luggage (like the 4 of us did!) :-( There's a wonderful and welcoming cafe at the foot of the elevator - they'll let you borrow a tray to bring your coffee/drinks back to your room! Liliana was a great host.

Disappointing.

Great view, beds were comfortable, spacious.

There was no running water when we arrived, which disrupted our plans. We couldn’t use the toilet or have a shower until late at night. The host just said it was a problem with the city supply, so nothing to do with him. No backup drinks were available, we just had to fend for ourselves with 2 children. No discount was given, the host even charged the city tax the next morning, but after complaining he decided not to charge the 2 euros/person, that was all. In his position I would have been more generous and caring to my guests.

as for the rooms they were clean and big. with a beautiful view. The bathroom is clean. but the owner could work a little on the common room(salon). There were 4 plastic cups (there were 5 of us), two or three cups and some one spoon. Undiscarded trash can.I believe he just forgot. and no wifi, so we didn't quite understand the TV that had netflix on it :D. I don't know if it's our fault, but we walked (according to googlemaps) from the train station along a long winding road uphill (it took about 35-40 minutes after a whole day of walking). no one warned us that it was enough to walk from the station to the church and it was a few minutes to take the city lift. it is only a few meters from the lift.

Good value for money - Very basic (no tea/coffee facilities, no local tourist guidance etx).

Location was fantastic - lovely view of town and sea. Check in was simple and effective.

Guidance from the owner was wrong about the Cinque Terre hiking. Very early check out time of 0900.

Beautiful

The staff were very helpful and I really enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend and next time I am in the region I will stay again! Avoid the posh restaurant in the town centre though!

The view from the room was amazing and the location of the apartment close to the lift bringing you right in the center of Riomaggiore was excellent to explore the village

Privacy. We had entire apartment with a living room and a bedroom.

Parking is an issue if you live inside any of the cinque terre town. We end up paying another $35 for parking at another place and it was a bit walk from hotel.
