We are fisherman and loved staying on Nelson Lake. The cabin was great to stay in was cozy comfortable. At first the beds were a little firm but we adjusted and was overall ok. The only downside is dock isn't friendly for most larger fishing boats. The L parts of the dock makes it un unusual for larger boats and is exposed to the wind and has no power to charge your trolling motor batteries. There is a solution if you bring 300ft of extension cords there is a power outlet by another cabin dock. We beached the boat and made it work. I hope the condo association puts power in at the docks for us fisherman. When this was part of the resort power was on every dock. I talked to the cabin owners and I know they want to get power at the docks again. Hope that happens. Would love to stay again.

Good property. Great location. A couple of the dishes weren’t clean and needed to be rewashed before use. It would have been helpful in the property listing and subsequent communications to explicitly list the cabin #, but otherwise we were very happy with the property and definitely would stay there again.

Property very nice. Beautiful view looking out window at the bay. Close to Hayward was nice, 10 minute drive. Convenient bar and restaurant on site. Excellent Wifi was very convenient because cell service was limited. Plenty of amenities inside. Kind of tight for 4 adults and 2 kids, but very nice.

Property was nice. The water near the beach on the property wasn’t swimmable with all the greenish water and weeds, no fault of the owner. We found a place for my son to swim further down the lake.

Enjoyed the cabin very much. Plenty of room and had everything we needed. Perfect location above the beach. Had a thoroughly relaxing week, even if the fish weren't overly cooperative. Thank You

Fun week for my family. Pontoon rides, walks, pub run (Nelson Lake, Summer Tour 2023), camp fire, grilling, and fishing. Big thanks to Lisa at Bullhead Bob's for all her hospitality and telling about sites to see on the lake. Great time, great memories.

We came up to the north woods to cross country ski. The cabin at Birch Point was very nice and cozy. A big picture window in the living room overlooked a beautiful winter scene. The cozy cabin was thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our first stay at the Cozy Cabin - the title sums it up perfectly! We enjoyed breakfast with a view each morning, exploring with the kayaks, and sitting by the fire. Perfect spot! Thank you!

Things can happen when going to some place that you haven't been to before that can ruin a vacation. Some of these happened to us but how Shana handled every one of them was spectacular. She responded to every one of them immediately and made our stay perfect. The cabin is everything advertised. It is very cozy, well decorated, fully stocked, and very clean, we felt at home. Shana has been making many upgrades to it and making it even better. We can't say enough good things about our experience and are looking forward to returning. Our vacation was perfect thanks to Shana.

We want to stay again!
The cabin was cozy and comfortable with decor that was pleasing and northwoods themed. There was everything available to make our stay pleasant. Every kitchen tool or accessory one could imagine was there. So many thoughtful things. Fans, generous kitchen and bathroom supplies, even power strips. The lake, trees and property were well maintained. Couldn't imagine it being any better.

This little cabin had all the room we needed for two senior adults and two senior dogs. We had to leave a day earlier than planned because of an emergency at home. We'll be back.

Great host, great property, great location
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The cabin itself exceeded our expectations and the location was a perfect home base for the Cheq 40 and the CAMBA system in general. The host, Shana, went out of her way to make our stay a pleasant success. We would definitely stay again.

Cozy cabin 5
Most everything was exactly what we wanted. The cabin was close to Hayward. We would prefer the table and chairs be regular height not high stools/table. The pier was not within sight of the cabin.

Perfect Family Get Away
WE all were thoroughly impressed and appreciative of this owners property and communication. She responded very quickly to my MANY questions months in advance of us staying here. Every thing we needed to know about this property was shown in pictures and in description. IT was better than we could have imagined. It felt like a home away from home. Private dock very close to cabin made a great fishing escape for my three young kids. The family dog was able to swim off of the dock. The beach area was super sandy and lovely and very quiet!! The kids had the place to themselves most of the time. The kitchen was completely stocked with every thing we needed to cook and clean with. WE definitely over packed because she had more than what we needed for an amazing vacation. Everything was very clean and well kept. Even a TV with many options of movies and shows to watch as we unwinded at night after a day of fishing, swimming and campfire. The kayaks she provided were free to use and an absolute hit with the kids!! We will definitely be back!!! Also my parents were able to park their camper in the large front yard so we were able to spend the weekend close to them as well!!!

Hayward Getaway
Sadly, this picture does not represent the cabin we stayed in. It did not have an attached porch as pictured here. Its entrance was directly across from the next cabin which has a screened in porch which made it uncomfortable every time we needed to go in and out. Which was often. Other than that my expectations were met. The weather was beautiful and for whatever reason, a very quiet time at the resort.

Perfect family getaway!!!
Cabin was perfect for the 3 of us!! Great kitchen space, beautiful view, and comfy beds. Bathroom was a little small but sounds like an upgrade is planned. Enjoyed the location - close enough to town to do the typical tourist things but far enough away to not have the hustle and bustle. We can't wait to come back next year!!!!
