Location was close to town
Nice decor
Communication from host
The bath
TVs were excellent size compared to other home stays we’ve been on
The bed was small and too soft
The hot tub could do with some form of shelter so could be used more on rainy days
A drainer for washing the pots
Car parking wasn’t ideal but there was a permit

for 2 people staying in a property with a hot tub to only have a small medium and large towel was not sufficient for 2 nights.
no hand wash only sanitizer in bathroom.
this was second stay at this property. the 1st time there was a generous hamper provided this 2nd time there was no hamper provided.

Very comfortable, homely stay. Would recommend to anyone. Really welcoming cottage to stay in, perfect for a few relaxing nights away. Very nice property inside and out. Nice welcome box waiting for us from the host which was a great touch :)
Parking isn’t the best, resulted in my car getting scratched by another vehicle. Also very hard to find a spot to actually park.

it was close to town centre, lovely modern furniture and tastefully decorated, log fire and bathroom facilities all first class and the lovely touch of a Xmas tree was a nice surprise
the opinion of all of my party was that the cleanliness of the towels and bed linen was very poor, not as fresh and crisp as we would have expected almost as if they had been used by the prior occupants ! (grubby) only one tea towel, dishwasher not working, there was no fire lighters or kindling to light the fire, and when we first arrived at the property it was freezing cold (the thermostat read 7.5) so that wasn’t very welcoming when you are expecting a “cosy cottage feel “ the hot tub area would benefit from a light for the dark winter nights.

We had no problem parking, and great 5hat a resident parking permit is provided.

I can’t praise this beautiful property enough. Comfortable beds and sofas, every amenity that you could need, and exceptional decor. It truly feels like a perfect home away from home! I got parked up very easily despite what some other reviews have said. All the TV’s had Netflix which was a lovely addition, and the hot tub was incredible. Lovely and clean throughout and smelled amazing! I highly recommend to everyone.

we loved everything about the property from the location to all of the facilities. we couldn’t have asked for better and could recommend enough. Kelsein was very helpful and accommodating. we will definitely book again!
The only small issue was that we could have had more towels available but that is a very minor issue.

Great location for the town , Pleasant owner.
On a main road which was very noisy, The house smelled damp/dogs? and had been masked with air fresheners which are not good for asthma sufferers. House advertised for 3 adults but only 2 stools in the kitchen , meaning that we couldn't eat together. An ideal house for 2 young adults but not for older adults. Dangerous landing from the bedroom to the bathroom. Advertised as having shower facilities in the bedroom, but actually has a large bath in the bedroom with shower attachment. very 'trendy', not suitable for our age group.

We loved the kitchen as it was large and had everything we needed. Although we didn't have the weather to fully take advantage of garden and hot-tub, they were nice-to-haves.
The host left a very nice welcome hamper with cake and prosecco - very thoughtful.
The decor is warm and welcoming which is very positive.
The bathroom is brand new, the shower is spacious and the overall the cottage was very clean.
The master bedroom is extremely big ( too big compared to the second bedroom ) and very luxurious.
The biggest issue of the cottage is the second bedroom: at time of booking we'd written to the host and asked to see some photos as there were none. She said they were doing the room up and that it would be lovely. Having seen the rest of the cottage in photos we trusted this and went ahead with the booking. Sadly the second bedroom was more of a single room for a child. The two twins pushed together ( we are a married couple ) took most of the space and there really wasn't any room to walk around the bed. I think the cottage is for 1 couple with a child max, and the price is probably too elevated for this restricted occupancy.
Furthermore, we were not able to unpack anything as the room's chest of drawers was completely unusable: all drawers were coming undone, you'd pull a drawer out and the two below would collapse, if we managed to open one we were unable to push it back in. It was impossible. We had to leave out of our cases which we left outside in the landing outside the bathroom- really not ideal, especially at that price and with such small bedroom.
Other things we noticed: missing hand-soap in the bathroom, absolutely no coat-rack or wall hooks for coats anywhere, we found a packed of opened parmesan cheese from the previous guests I guess. And most importantly, the TV in the lounge had a large green line ( dead pixels ) running vertically on the screen...
The host first told us she was aware the chest of drawers were broken, tried to fix it but couldn't. Then in another text she said she didn't know they were still broken. She didn't really appreciate me bringing this issue up to her and perhaps there was some miscommunication between us but I didn't like her "I don't understand why you're complaining" response.

Loved our stay! Very comfortable with everything we needed including a surprise welcome hamper with some Prosecco to enjoy in the hot tub.
Main bedroom very luxurious with a very comfortable bed...added bonus was how central the property was to Morpeth.
