Pleasantly surprised. Will stay again if I'm in the area.

Tru is apparently Hilton's riff on Silicon Valley culture: lots of bright contrasting colors in simple shapes and patterns, casual communication, "fun" facilities like a pool table, even some newfangled electronic gimmicks like remotely-operated blinds. You know in your head that the vibe is entirely artificial, and yet it kind of works anyway; instead of the somber, depressing experience I normally associate with hotels, I found it relaxed and cheery. Girl at the front desk was very friendly, breakfast was decent (they had actual protein), and rooms were reasonably clean.

I didn't use the "fitness center" which was pretty much just basic cardio equipment, but that's typical of all hotels. In-room fridge was a little noisy; if I hadn't brought food with me on this trip, would have considered unplugging it. Wifi/internet could be hit or miss, usually fast but some sites/apps were super slow.

Hotel is new and very nice. Just would’ve liked breakfast.

It smelled good but I got down there at 9:15 and they were done already, cleaned up. I’ve never seen a hotel only serve breakfast until 9 on a weekend.

Probably one of the best in this county but lower your expectations

The property seemed relatively new. It was modern and up to date. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I liked how it had all the accessories in the bathroom. Shower gel, shampoo, lotion etc in cool containers. My only complaint was that the drain in the sink was clogged and drained very slow. Which is the reason for the 9.

Great stay, great location

The facility was very clean and nice. Service staff was very friendly. Yolanda was the front desk service person. She was the best. It was a very convenient location. Right down the road from shopping and Lakesports Champions Center

Extremely friendly helpful staff at front desk!

Loud slamming of all doors as they close( not people slamming doors-the actual door closing hangs free), terrible tv cable guide information -none( antiquated), no coffee makers in the room……

Overall it was pleasant, except for the horrible mattress

Breakfast was good, the place was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful

The beds were HARD and LUMPY ! Neither of us could sleep the whole 4 nights we were there !

Tru is consistent

We liked how new it was, the cleanliness, and the location right off of the interstate. It's within five-ten minutes driving of restaurants, shops, and everything you could need.

The ice machine on the main floor didn't work, which surprised me. Neither did the pancake maker at breakfast, which was also surprising. It was little things, but seemed odd for such a brand new, nice facility.

Great location, comfortable bed, but understaffed and dirty.

Breakfast was fair. They used to have pork sausage patties and this time they had kielbasa which was cut very thin and had been overcooked.

Enough pillows to cover the bed. Bathroom could have been cleaner. The coffee in the lobby used to be very good, but they must have changed it. If you are trying to measure up to Drury, you are missing the mark.

Stayed here because its a 5min drive to LakePoint Sports.

Family friendly. Pool Table in lobby with plenty of tvs.

No fire pit at the outdoor seating area.

Nice place for an overnight stop. Clean facility and friendly front desk staff.

Easy to get to and right off of the interstate. The woman at the front desk was very helpful and friendly.

It wasn't worth the money

The location of the property was perfect.

The floors were slippery due to moisture created by the air conditioner. We heard footsteps from the upstairs neighbors as they walked across the room. The beds weren't comfortable at all. This was my first TRU Hilton stay. Ivrstayed at other Hilton hotels and had no pro.

Clean, nice employee

TV couldn't see what was coming on. Had to go to every channel and guess what was on. Big disappointment. When to hotel because our son passed away in January. We didn't want to be home for the first holiday without him. Just wanted to relax in our room alone. So the TV was really frustrating, and it rained always so we never left the room.
