This comfortable home is in an historic, quiet and friendly neighborhood within an easy walk to the conference center/downtown one direction and an easier walk to a wonderful neighborhood market. The host was exceptional as she provided conveniences already in place and ones requested. For example, she brought over a lantern so we could enjoy sitting outside and a pour over coffee filter upon our request.
The main house has 3 bedrooms (one upstairs) and bathrooms, a good sized kitchen and eating area. The kitchen is well equipped. There was a office area and living room, all comfortable and spacious. The granny apartment is up the stairs from the garden patio that has a grill and table. The granny apartment had its own patio and table too. The apartment was roomy, comfortable and quiet. It has a well-equipped kitchen and delightful dining and living room space.
But the best part (besides the fresh mangos falling from the tree in the yard) was our hostess. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and more.

This property is perfect for families and is situated in a wonderful historic district in West Palm Beach.
The upstairs apartment was perfect for the grandparents who loved being with the family but wanted to retire in privacy.
Both kitchens are fully functional and the three baths were great to accommodate a large extended family.

A group of seven of us (three couples, one single) enjoyed a long weekend at this 1925 house a 15 minute walk to City Place (shopping, restaurants, bars). We rented the house (3 bedrooms, two baths) plus the upstairs in-law apt. (Queen bed and bath). It was a bit tight sitting together as a group in the living room, which is long and narrow. It opens into a dining room with table and four chairs, and a galley kitchen. Be aware that the main floor bathroom (small, with shower) is in the second bedroom, so first bedroom guests have to walk into that bedroom or upstairs to the hall bathroom. Manageable for us, but worth noting. There is a nice outdoor sitting area with table and chairs, shared with the permanent tenants of an apt above the garage (very friendly).
Our host Hala was gracious and responsive. We had a few minor issues, but nothing detracted from an excellent stay. The historic neighborhood is very safe and walkable. And very cool! I highly recommend this house for your WPB stay.
