Beautiful home in Tamborine

Lovely view and host. Hampton style decor was nice too. Enjoyed the pool table. Neat and lush gardens. The fireplace was critical as it was freezing! Would love to come back.

The master bed upstairs was very small cant fit 2 adults, and had a really soft mattress. We couldn't use it as it was terrible for the back. Equipment is old generally and needs updating but that is why price offered good value for money.

I got scammed

The place was dirty upon arrival like the pool table, carpets, flooring, bedroom and bathrooms but somehow I’m getting charged for the pool table to receive an entire new felt too which will cost me up to $800 out of pocket ontop of the $1300 I paid for 2 nights and the $300 bond. so I’m total this property has charged me nearly $2400 with $1100 being out of pocket for their filthy facilities. I have a strong suspicion that they may have poured some liquid over some of the pool table because none of us drank red wine or any red coloured drinks. bit of a dead give way that my stay was tampered with.

Up the mountain

Great position. Beautiful views. Easy & close access to where we wanted to spend time on the mountain. Lots of space for relaxing solo & with friends.

A couple of extra white towels for bathroom/shower in the event of hair washing.

Spectacular stay

The perfect stay, from the booking process to the follow up after the stay the hosts were awesome. The house was beautiful with its unique style, as seinfeld fans the Kramer portrait was a fantastic touch to the pool room. Spectacular views from the balcony, all the amenities you could need and the hosts even provided a few little snacks to help you settle in (nice touch). Even for a short visit, this is the ideal home stay, can watch storms roll over or see beautiful sunsets/sunrises or jst to adventure around the mountain 😊

the lookout, the rooms, the entertainment space

The humidity. All bedrooms were very humid because of the rain and weather. You could feel the bedsheets are damp when u go to bed, even smell it everywhere.

Stunning

The house and views are stunning! We stayed here before our big day and it was such a good experience from the spacious rooms, the massive kitchen and the pool table was such a good edition. We would recommend anyone with a group to stay. Also plenty of kids activities.

I couldn't find a plug for the bath, I was going to run a bath for our 2.5yr old.

Lots of surprises eg too cold to sleep at night, suddenly no hot water, no power supply…..

The view is fantastic!

No heater in the room. The temperature at night is around 6 degree C and we are not used to sleep in such a low temperature.

Loved our whole experience.

Excellent location, beautiful home and lovely host. We were getting ready for a wedding and the space was fantastic. The view was an added bonus. We couldn’t work out the garage door (us not property issue) we texted owner and Loan was straight away in the phone guiding us how to open.

Perfect venue for a group of friends with lots of space and great amenities.

We booked the house for 8 friends reuniting from overseas to celebrate Christmas In July. The house was clean and well maintained and the kitchen fully equipped so we could cook a yummy dinner. The wood fire added a Christmas ambience and kept the living/kitchen area warm and toasty. Adequate bedding was provided as was a lovely welcome pack upon arrival. Loan was contactable and helpful when we had a few questions upon arrival.

We had initially looked for somewhere more central, and although the property is not within walking distance of any cafes/shops, the stupendous views and regular visits from the local Kookaburras and Magpies more than made up for a slight inconvenience of having to drive into town.

Great friends weekend catchup

The property has great views, a wood fireplace, pool table and pretty well everything you need for a terrific weekend catchup for a group of friends. We had planned to eat out at night but after hitting some great breweries and distilleries on the Friday and Saturday for lunch we grabbed some local supplies and cooked up some tapas and stayed in with a local billiards challenge.

The rooms were great and comfortable, the view was second to none, the fireplace chased away the cold and we loved the billiard challenge.

Scenic mountain escape

Loved the attention to detail , along with the delightful welcome basket. Best features are the amazing veiw and beautiful heritage. The perfect place to unwind and have quality family time.

Lovely house and location but disappointing in other areas

Excellent location with amazing views. Well equipped kitchen with some pantry extras which was helpful. Very large house and great for a group.

The house only had one air conditioner/ heater in the kitchen area and the rest of the house was very dark and cold. There was a fire place but no provisions for a fire. The owner did sort this out when we rang to say we were disappointed. The Netflix didn’t eventuate and the arrangement of furniture in the living area made TV viewing uncomfortable - not at all cost.

Grand home with exceptional views of the Gold Coast

Despite it being a very wet few days, the house was very comfortable with the wood heater and the air conditioner.

A super relaxing weekend in a beautiful place and a wonderful house.

Location was amazing and views spectacular. The house was clean and inviting. Beds were super comfortable and hosts exceptionally friendly and organised. They even left a welcome hamper for our stay which was very thoughtful. We would definitely stay again!

The only thing I could suggest was a little table on the back verandah to sit and have breaky in the beautiful morning sun.

Supurb

The house exceeded our expectations. The view from the decks overlooking the Gold Coast and the ocean are breath taking. The morning coffee's on one of the decks, while listening to the birds, are memorizing. A perfect place if you are looking for quietness with friends and/or family. The house is beautifully classically furnished. Its including a pool table and plenty of board games. By far the most best place we booked over the past years.

Enjoyable fun stay with great ocean views

Everything perfect, exceptional view on the gold cost, very clean, comfortable, very well organized with party games, clean comfortable beds, etc

The only problem was that it was a bit cold and therefore we turned on the beautiful wood stove that we have in the house, but there is no need to light the stove, some small wood and the stokers, we had to recover some wood in the woods in front of the house. However we did it ..

It was a special gathering of 4 siblings to celebrate our youngest sister's 60th Birthday

There was a lovely gift basket of goodies for us on arrival. All necessities were provided which is a welcome touch. Everything was good quality with attention to comfort and convenience was very much appreciated. The overall comfort and enjoyment was 10/10.
