Make your vision of a perfect mountain getaway a reality with a retreat to Mountain Vista located in beautiful Island Park, Idaho. Mountain Vista is only 19 miles from the West entrance of Yellowstone National Park and is near other attractions such as: Henrys Lake, the Big Springs River, and other convenient attractions like the local grocery store, recreational rental shops, and delicious restaurants. Though, the cabin’s proximity to attractions isn’t the only beneficial thing about its location, the scenery surrounding the cabin will astound you. Mountain Vista sits on a secluded lot surrounded by quaking aspens and lofty pines that frame a perfect view of Sawtelle Peak, part of the Centennial Mountain Range. The open deck off the back of the cabin walks out to a view of a golden open meadow where it isn’t uncommon to catch sightings of moose, elk, fox and hear the chatter of coyotes in the early morning or evening. Explore your surroundings on the many ATV trails the area provides, with access to these trails residing just up the road from the cabin. Walk or bike around the quiet neighborhood of Aspen Ridge or simply enjoy the property as part of your mountain retreat to the Greater Yellowstone Region.
The most important aspect of Mountain Vista are the many amenities included in your reservation. You won’t be disappointed in your selection as this unique cabin provides plenty of sleeping space and area to spread out. The cabin sleeps 14 comfortably in 2 queen beds, 2 double beds and 6 twins in two private bedrooms and two lofts. One of the two lofts sits above the separated garage, a perfect place for the kids to hang out or for a family to have their own private space. Each bedroom includes a TV and the main TV is connected to internet that includes your favorite streaming apps. With 3 full bathrooms, there is plenty of space to get ready for your adventures which means no need for fighting over bathroom space. There is plenty of space to cozy in and read or a book or watch a movie together in the spacious living room and snug reading nook in the upper loft. The fireplace in the living room furnishes the ideal ambiance to relax and warm you after a long day of exploring the mountain scene. The fully stocked kitchen makes it easy to cook an in-house meal and save you the hassle of eating out. There is plenty of room to seat everyone up at the bar or at the dining room table. Spend some time outside on the large back deck while burgers cook on the BBQ grill or to enjoy a pleasant cup of joe in the early morning hours. Gather together at the fire pit, exceptional for a s’more making experience or to simply watch the flames flicker under the starry sky. Mountain Vista does not disappoint and will leave you longing to return.

We loved the beautiful cabin and the location and views!
The extra room over the garage was perfect for our daughter, her husband and our 2 granddaughters to get the kids asleep while the main group stayed up later. We loved having a campfire outside, such peaceful surroundings. Great location too!

The cabin was cozy, well-appointed, and in a convenient location for visiting both Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. Our family of eleven thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Island Park cabin.

Our family came from 3 different states to get together and see Yellowstone again. Great location to the park -a short 30 min drive. We had 12 people- 7 adults and 5 kids ages 2-8, and it worked out well with the extra room over the garage. Very pleased, will come again.

My family loved staying here!! If you’re coming to Yellowstone or Henry Lake this home is in the perfect location.
The home was very clean, well stocked and comfortable! The street leading to the home was unpaved and we needed our 4 wheel drive on our rainy arrival day but the kids thought that was a bonus. During our stay we had 4 moose sightings in the neighborhood which was also a bonus.
Tyler was extremely easy to reach and communicate with.
This home is a 10 and our family would absolutely stay here again if coming through the area.

This property was AMAZING!! It fit all 13 of us comfortably!! The boys had their own living quarters over a garage. Back deck had AMAZING views and enough room to accommodate the adults to sit out and have a few drinks. Not too far from Yellowstone either. I will recommend to any one that is traveling with a large group. It accommodates 14!!

Perfect home to and from Yellowstone. After a long day in the park it was great to have enough room for my family of 11 to unwind and recharge for the next day!

Beautiful Area
We really enjoyed the cabin. The fire pit and deck area are really fun. It gets hot in the upstairs areas. It would be nice to have a way to cool it down. The kitchen needs bigger frying pans. The toaster did not work. We were not aware that one of the rooms was above a garage and separate from the cabin.

Great location and space for everyone
We loved our stay here. The 4th bedroom was actually a loft instead of a bedroom with a door, but it did have its own bathroom which helped. The location of the home was amazing-so close to Henry’s Lake, west Yellowstone, and the Yellowstone entrance. We loved it!!!

Clean, comfortable beds, several bunks, quiet. As advertised with great indoor and outdoor spaces for whole family!

Nice mountain retreat, very quiet. Moose, antelope, hawks, deer, and a bunch of smaller animals.
Nice family place, one of the best we have stayed at. I reported some issues and asked for help but got no reply. We worked around the problems. Had a good time.

Great House for a big group!
We enjoyed this house! All the amenities! The one thing is the drive in, the road is single lane and a steep grade into the driveway. But we liked it!

We highly recommend!
We loved this place! Very clean, beautiful views from every window. The only tiny thing I wished there was would be a garbage disposal in the sink. Not a deal breaker though. We will be back!
