Absolutely our favorite cabin stay yet! It’s an easy drive to the west entrance of Yellowstone or the Grand Tetons. Cabin was clean and spacious. Plenty of TVs with streaming services and wifi was good the entire stay. Everything needed to cook meals was available, lots of games and puzzles, roasting sticks for the campfire, etc. Our 2 year old loved picking wildflowers and collecting rocks in the wooded area surrounding the cabin. She also enjoyed the loft at the top and a tiny hideaway room accessible from one of the bedrooms. Would definitely highly recommend to anyone!

Our family of 11 stayed here for five days and we were very pleased with the accommodations. The beds were comfy, the linens were plentiful, and the dining room table was big enough for all of us.

We were impressed the property was so clean. The kitchen was well-stocked which has not always been the case at other properties we have rented through VRBO. We enjoyed being with our family, and we would stay there again.

My family and our family friends stayed here from July 7-12, 2024. The experience was nothing short of amazing. I found myself telling my husband over and over again how intentional the design, decor and comfort factors were in this cabin.
First, the beds felt like I was sleeping on a cloud and the pillow felt like I was at home.
The kitchen and dining room was spacious and offered a spectacular view of the beautiful outdoors.
Since we were traveling with another family, as a mom, one of my favorite parts was having two washers and two dryers!! BONUS COMFORT level unlocked!!
We spent a lot of time downstairs playing pool with our girls and I even feel asleep one night on the super comfy sofa watching a Disney movie.
Everything was just as expected from the online description.
We were far enough to feel like we were hidden in so magical woods but yet close enough to a gas station and West Yellowstone town.
I would recommend this cabin to EVERYONE and when we return, we will definitely be staying here again.
Our Host:
I messaged Dustin several times, one time was even to ask to extend our stay....he was quick with each response and made sure we had everything we needed to make our experience a special one.
We travelled from Louisiana and when I asked for recommendations, Dustin was very helpful.
I have absolutely NOTHING negative to say. I tried to think of something that I could recommend changing or doing something differently and there was nothing.

This cabin, tucked away in a beautiful forest, just 25 minutes from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park, was perfect for our annual family reunion. We toured around Yellowstone each day and then came back to the cabin to make meals and share the experiences of the day. And what a quiet, peaceful setting to all sleep soundly in with all of the spread out bedrooms! We all woke up early since we slept so well that we were able to beat all of the crowds into Yellowstone. That enabled us to stop for groceries by 4pm to then have our wonderful “cabin” time!
The stand-out bonuses: the smells of the forest from the large sitting deck, the surprisingly large and relaxing hot tub that soothed our bodies and enhanced our sleep, the very comfortable beds that comfortably slept all of us, the wonderful kitchen with seating that accommodated all of us for true “family style” meals, watching all of our pictures and movies taken in Yellowstone each day with the easy-to-setup AirPlay capability, the 2 sets of washers and dryers, the little loft where two little 7 and 8 year old girls sleeps (they just had to have everyone come up see them in there…so cute!), the pool table and foos ball tables that made for added great family entertainment when we weren’t playing one of the many board games. In short, we were thrilled with the cabin and that we were able to find such a gem.
The one downside was that one coffee pot was not functional due to being broken by a previous guest.

The house was beautiful and great for 13 people. However, the outside area and kitchen cabinets needed cleaning. The grill needed a deep cleaning or replaced, very dirty.

It was wonderful! My children, age 40+, my grandchildren, age 18+, and one great grandchild, age 8, loved it. We used the jacuzzi, the pool table, Foosball table, washer and dryer, and firepit. It was close to our destination, Yellowstone and shopping in West Yellowstone.
Would we stay at this VRBO again? Most definitely !! And the owner, Dustin, was very easy to work with. *****(5star)

Stayed in February for a snowmobiling trip. 13 of us and we all loved the cabin and the location. Only problem we had was parking. We had three big trailers, and it was very difficult to get them parked, sharp corners and had to disconnect two of the trucks to make it work. Hopefully they move more snow and trees around corners or we will have to choose a different place next time.

First time ever visiting Island Park. Loved that we could slow down and enjoy this beautiful cabin. The drive to the cabin was magical and the cabin had everything we needed. Fully stocked. Loved the little grocery store. We also loved the little pizza place nearby. My son had just had a shoulder injury so he loved the hot tub. Plenty of snow. Took advantage of the snow mobile rentals down the street. Loved driving into West Yellowstone and walking thru the shops, bear and wolf discovery center and eating at the local restaurant. The cabin was just what we needed. Plenty of room. It’s in a the best location.

Everything about this place was great for all our needs EXCEPT the stove. We called to let management know the stove top and oven were not working properly. Large rt front burner : only outer ring heated up slightly and the inner ring had no heat. Oven heated to about 300 degrees despite the temp being set for 400. After an hour the bacon was still raw. Would hate to know that people got sick because the oven heat was inadequate for food cooking properly. Management sent a maintenance guy to check who said the stove was fine. Hard to believe he was able to properly check things if he was not using it to cook. End of issue from the management point of view. The oven is not safe for cooking food and it needs to be replaced before someone becomes I’ll from improperly cooked food. Oven did not even heat up enough to bake a pizza.
It’s a great place minus a broke oven and inadequate follow up from management.

We loved the cabin with individual room heat/cool settings. It was beautifully furnished and plenty of room to spread out and have some individual space. The proximity was perfect to travel to the many places in the area and the peace and quiet were wonderful with this location. The only issue we had was working the tv (no cable) and the fireplace. Just need some direction on that. Loved loved the vacation in this cabin .

Very nice property, It worked great for our families. The property has three levels so we had a family upstairs kids sharing one queen bed and parents in the other bedroom on a queen bed. Grand parents on the master suite on first floor and a family in the basement in the bunk room and room with two queens this worked great for us but I would have liked to know the configuration before hand for planning. The property is in a great place with a nice grocery store right down the road. and we enjoyed spending time in both Yellowstone 1/2 hour drive and the Tetons 2hr drive.

This home was just right for our family of 11. We stayed here in mid June, so it was wonderful to come back to a warm and comfortable place after a full day of exploring Yellowstone. With three levels, there was plenty of space for us to spread out. The kitchen was convenient and equipped with everything we needed. Having 2 washers and 2 dryers was a big plus!
The setting was beautiful-truly a cabin in the woods! Dustin was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to our questions via text. We would recommend this home for any group who wants to be near Yellowstone. And the nearby town of West Yellowstone was very nice. We also highly recommend visiting the Grizzly and Wolf Discover Center there. Along with spectacular Yellowstone NP, you don’t want to miss it!

Our two families of 4 (8 total) had a great stay here. The cabin was very spacious with plenty of beds. We loved that it was a quick 25 minute drive to the West Yellowstone entrance. We would definitely recommend the cabin for your stay!

Accurate listing and great location to get to Yellowstone and also fun things to do in Idaho and Montana. Spent a week here with extended family, was roomy enough for 16 and owner was quick to resolve some issues upon check in. Very pleased with the place and communication, pool table and hot tub were a hit!

Cabin was really nice. About 25 min from Yellowstone. Kitchen was well stocked with spices and all needed cooking utensils. If I only had one negative thing to say it would be their wasn’t a great view from the cabin. Other than that this place was perfect. Everything was clean and in well condition. Fully meet my expectations.

Our group consisted of four couples, eight people. The place was great. Had plenty of room. Very clean. Had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place to stay. Only 30 minutes to the west entrance of Yellowstone. Plenty of things to do in that area. Would definitely book it again.

Would love to stay there again. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Even with record snowfall the roads and driveway to house were clear. Lots of space for everyone to enjoy themselves.

We absolutely loved the house, however parking for snowmobile trailers was a real struggle, we realize there was a lot of snow, but some trees need to come down to accommodate trailers, we needed to unload our trailers and bring our gear in with trucks. Otherwise, we loved the home, it was very well equipped with all of the amenities we needed! Thank you!!
10.0 / 10.0
We had a terrific stay here and would love to return as it was so ideal. The property was clean, secluded, and large enough for every couple in our party to have their own room. There are plenty of central areas to socialize and not feel crowded. There are a large number of seats for dining and the hot tub fits 8 adults and is lovely! Kitchen supplies were decent but a little hit and miss on sizes. There was a sufficient supply of dish soap, paper towels, and shower supplies.
Check in and check out was easy. It was nice to have snow shovels and de-ice products available. There was sooooo much snow!
My only critiques are minor - dish towels are needing to be replaced and restocked, the kitchen needs aluminum foil and more saran wrap products. Napkins are present but I think they were left from a prior renter so possibly bring your own. If you are cooking a dish and need a larger casserole dish or specific container, I advise you to bring your own. We made do with what was there in the kitchen but more pans could be helpful.
Thank you for sharing this magnificent property!!

All the comforts of home and plenty of space to spread out made this the perfect cabin for a family Yellowstone Park vacation. Everyone enjoyed the space and made some great memories.
10.0 / 10.0
The five bedrooms gave private space for our multi-generational family and friends yet we could all be together in the gathering areas. In addition to the pool and foose ball tables there is a closet with multiple jigsaw puzzles and board games.
The kitchen has ample pans for frying, a crock pot, plenty of plates, cups and glasses, silverware and knives as well as room for cooks helpers to be in the kitchen.
10.0 / 10.0
Warm & Cozy with an abundance of space. Although some of our family members could not make it at tue last minute, the cabin was everything we were hoping for and more. Comfort, convenience and so much more. There were many added touches that were greatly appreciated from extra blankets to us in our car rides thru YNP to travel coffee cups and coolers.
We would recommend this wonderful cabin to anyone. We would certainly come back here next time we visit YNP! Thank you

Fabulous Getaway
The MacPack Hideaway was a wonderful vacation getaway for our 2 families! The property had so many places for us all to be together or spread out. The 4 kids loved playing games in the loft / upstairs area as well as playing pool, fuseball, going in the hot tub, and making s’mores over the fire pit. The 4 adults loved the spaciousness, the property was exactly as described, had many fabulous touches and amenities such as the beautiful wrap around porch, and the location was close enough to the west entrance of Yellowstone, yet far away enough to feel like we were on a private getaway. The owner quickly responded to the couple of messages I sent and all communication was clear and helpful. During our stay, we visited Yellowstone, went to Big Sky for ziplining and rafting, went to the Grand Tetons, and just spent a day relaxing at the beautiful property! I would highly recommend this vacation home!!
